With easy beach access via Roads End State Park just a few steps away, miles of pristine sandy beaches await. By the Sea features many great amenities including a spacious yard great for pets, wireless internet access, flat screen TV equipped with cable and a gas grill. A variety of shops, great restaurants and the entertainment found at Chinook Winds casino are just a few minutes drive away. Golfing, hiking, and much more can be found nearby as well!

Loved the house!

We stayed for my daughter's wedding on the beach at Roads End. The house was beautiful, close to the beach and easy access with parking. Check in and check out was the easiest I've been through with rental houses. I am planning a small vacation next year Spring 2026 and plan on renting this house again.

This house is comfortable, fairly well equipped and in a great location. However, the listing showed a room with a Queen bed and a twin bed. There was no twin bed in the room. After we searched the upstairs, we did find two twin mattresses under the bed. This is not the same as a twin bed. Maybe the listing should be updated?

Very clean and cozy home with one bedroom on the main level with a full bath and 2 bedrooms on the upper level with one full bath and a half bath. The home has had a lot of updating. We enjoyed our stay.

Great home and neighborhood

We had a wonderful weekend at the beach . The house was well stocked and spacious. Easy walk to the beach which we enjoyed.

Great house and updates they have made. However, you can never get an early check in EVERY. The house is generally cleaned but many areas are very dirty. Check under the furniture (couch and beds) you will see a lot of trash and/or food items. Crumbs in the fridge and freezer. Do not use the ice trays, they are usually dirty. Get a bag of ice. I have explained this to Meredith Lodging on numerous occasions, however they NEVER acknowledge your email/surveys EVER.

Stay at Lincoln City

Overall this was a fine place to stay. Appliances were all new and spaces were decently clean. They layout upstairs was a little unique but offered more than enough room for our luggage and to setup our pack and play for our infant. The upstairs "master" bathroom is

Relaxing Stay

Overall it was a wonderful experience. The upstairs toilet wasn’t working when we first arrived so we called the property manager and they arranged for someone to come out in the morning. If you have kids/teenagers I would suggest you bring a Roku or something. There is cable available but there didn’t seem to be very many channels available.

Charming House in Great Quiet Location

This house was very nice and perfect for the 5 of us, and actually had more room than expected. The upstairs room layout was unique and very open and warming. The kids spend all their time in the house up there hanging out. Love tge extra couter in the kitchen to set stuff on. Would definitly stay here again.

Grandparent’s Beachhouse Vibes

The overall vibes of this place are as if you were invited to watch over your grandparent’s beach home for a weekend. This property was cute, very clean, and well organized. It was well stocked with amenities like sheets, towels, coffee, and syrup. The listing did say that there would be one more bed than there was- until at checkout when we found an extra mattress hiding under one of the upstairs beds! If you need that mattress, check under the beds! It is worth mentioning that there was some wicker furniture on the deck that was broken. A guest of mine sat on it and it immediately collapsed. The dishwasher also did not seem to work well- so bring paper plates and cups or be ready to hand wash! With these exceptions, this place was a wonderful weekend getaway and i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach weekend with friends/family!

Easter weekend

Nice time at the beach. Home was cozy, Beds comfortable. Lots of towels and linens and well stocked kitchen. Would have liked the twin set up in the upstairs bedroom as in the photos. Comforters could use a washing. Over all 4 stars.

Okay rental

Door access code in email was incorrect. Management were available to asssit. The bedroom downstairs was freezing the first night. Heat was off when we arrived. It would’ve been a show of hospitality to leave heat on, even if at 65F. The downstairs bed is not comfortable. Very squishy. There’s a whole in the ceiling of that bedroom. Like the bedroom was an after thought. ALL the smoke alarms were beeping when we arrived. You charge a hefty service fee. I don’t feel I got $230 of service. There was a lot of dog hair bn the May and slider. Love the fenced yard!! I wouldn’t rent this property again.

Working Spring Break

I work remote and rented this home for a few days to get a change of scenery with my kiddos. Overall it worked out great, not a ton of reception in the home, but i made it work. Walking distance to beach was great with my young kids. We absolutely loved it.

Fine beach house with excellent location

Disappointed by the strict 5 pm check in time/communication. Overall the house was in OK condition, but had a great location for walking & driving and yard if you have pets.

Great location and excellent for family

We had had a great time. Our kids were able to walk to the beach, had plenty of room to play and the whole house was kid friendly. I did reach out to the management because there wasn’t any check out instructions I could find, but they were quick to respond. The fridge door wouldn’t stay closed but other than that it was a perfect stay.
