Every bedroom offers complete privacy from the remainder of the house, ideal for two couples. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds and two king singles in the third and forth bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned. Enjoy the lovely water views from the deck after cooking up a storm in the gourmet kitchen. A wood fired pizza oven (WOOD NOT SUPPLIED) is situated in the common, unsheltered outdoor area (shared with the neighbouring property). Walking distance to the Straddie Hotel, Cylinder beach and shops. Property accessed via a steep driveway.

Beautiful Property

This was a beautiful property, in a great location. The deck and the views to the ocean were just beautiful, and I really liked that the kitchen was so well equipped.

Another delightful beach holliday

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are repeat guests and there have been additional improvements made since our last stay, with comfortable mattress toppers, air conditioning and an extended deck off the kitchen. the lower bedroom has been renovated to two separate rooms so the house now has a total of 4 bedrooms. The pizza deck area has railings now.Foxtel, wifi and linen (sheets, bath towels, tea towels and bath mats) included was an added bonus.Plenty of books and jigsaw puzzles. We love the beautiful view, the pizza oven, the spacious breezy design, expansive deck looking out to Moreton Bay, lovely garden and the well appointed kitchen with every pot, pan, wok, utensil, and serving dish for a dinner party.Yes its a steep driveway, but we drove up and down it, or walked it on occasion for some exercise (we're in our 50s)Like all beach houses you bring your own soap, shampoo, beach towels, chux wipes, oil, salt and pepper etc 650 metre walk (9 minutes downhill, or 2 minute drive) to Cylinder Beach. It's an ideal house for families and adult groups especially pizza makers and avid cooks.We will definitely return to this great place.

Great home in Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was ideal for our three generations. It was well appointed with lots of different spaces to have private time. Unfortunately mosquitoes were a problem for the children as they weren’t so good at closing the doors behind them. We thought that there were mosquito nets on the beds (shown in promotional pictures) but there weren’t? The driveway is also very steep making going out for a walk more difficult with a stroller. We also felt the 9 am checkout is ridiculously early considering the need to take a barge to leave the island. With a 3 pm barge and a baby, we needed to spend many hours elsewhere. Surely cleaner’s could be organised around barge bookings considering we pay rent for a day which is 24 hours? That said the benefits of the beautiful home and view outweighed the inconveniences.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at this accommodation and had mixed feelings about our experience. While the location was great and the house was clean, we encountered a significant issue with the beds. Unfortunately, they were very uncomfortable, to the point that our guests ended up purchasing mattress toppers to make their stay more bearable.Given the price we paid, we expected a higher level of comfort. While the cleanliness and location were definite positives, the uncomfortable beds seriously impacted our overall enjoyment of the stay. I would recommend the hosts address the bedding situation to enhance the guest experience.

A unique house

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our 3 night stay, the house was clean and it a good location. It was a very unique design but worked well with having a few guests for one of the nights everyone had their own privacy. The only negative was no soaps were supplied for the bathrooms and limited toilet paper.

What a wonderful holiday

Stayed here for a few nights with two other families. We had a wonderful holiday. The location was great - a short walk to the beach, caf and convenience store. The bushwalk behind the property led to a massive sand dune with glorious views over the ocean. The kids (including the big ones) played on the massive dune for hours! The house was perfect for accommodating us all - giving us great communal areas as well as space to have some down time. The deck from the main living area was perfect for relaxing with a drink and watching the waves and the weather. We'll be back for sure!

Great House

We watched the whales while we ate our lunch on the deck. So relaxing. Love how the house has so many levels. Perfect for 2 families. Great kitchen for keen cooks. You can walk down to Cylinder Beach, wood fired pizza night was great. This is a really well designed beach house.
