Family holiday house walking distance to Cylinder and Deadmans Beaches.

Low set family holiday house located in popular Bambara Street and only minutes walk to Deadmans and Cylinder Beaches as well as shops, public transport and the Straddie Hotel. Perfect for families with small children.

In 2017 "Bedella" had a full makeover including a new modern kichen, flooring and furniture and furnishings.The yard was also landscaped which includes designated off street parking.

The bathrooms were also renovated to the same high standard in 2019.

NBN has been installed so WIFI is available.

Features: 6 tastefully furnished bedrooms (2 King, 2 Queens, 4 Singles), 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, screens, air conditioned living area, ceiling fans throughout, gas cooktop, 2 full size bathtub, microwave, dishwasher, front load washing machine, clothes dryer, Weber gas BBQ.

Bedella accommodates 12 people but to avoid overcrowding we allow 8 adults please

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week at Bedella and the location is great, with easy access to nearby beaches, restaurants and local attractions. The house is large and fit our family which was great. The property description was accurate in terms of location and layout, however the house does require a good deep clean and some general maintenance. Unfortunately, the property was not very clean upon arrival and we had to do a clean before we unpacked. The fly screens on the windows need replacing as they were damaged - we had lots of spiders and bugs come in! We did experience some maintenance issues during our stay, however Ray White was responsive and helpful in arranging support when needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house. Place was massive. We travelled as 2 families together. Plenty of room. Well equipped. Amazing location within walking distance to most of the main places in point lookout. The only minor issue was with the tv reception for a live free to air game (very important footy 😝). Staff were super helpful and prompt. Key collection was easy. Kangaroos on the doorstep. A perfect holiday home. We will definitely be back.

There were cobwebs around window frames and a layer of dust on wall tiles in laundry area. This did not spoil our enjoyment but cleaners should be made aware.

Stradbroke fitted the bill. Its a beautiful island and not far from Brisbane by ferry.

Great family home

Very large home with so much room to spread out and not be on each others toes. Everything was perfect, we would highly recommend. We had 4 x couple and 1 x baby.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, very central. House nicely renovated with a large living and kitchen area. Feedback for the owners (hopefully passed on by the agent!)The kitchen was very understocked. There was not enough crockery and glassware for the amount of people the house can accomodate. Many other things not available either. Very limited items - make sure you BYO your own kitchen items otherwise you will struggle. Dishwasher also not working well - tried all cycles and none seemed to work. Ended up hand washing most dishes. The shower drains were also very blocked - cleaners should be cleaning after each clean. The living room fan didn’t seem to have any options except fast speed. Would be useful to have instructions on how to operate. As an owner of my own Airbnb I understand the requirements and needs of guests so was disappointed. One word for the owner - KMart!!

Reviewer Comments: This house is perfect for a large group - it’s well laid out and very well stocked with everything you need. Unfortunately it has not been well maintained - the showers were clogged, the dishwasher filter was full of sand and worst of all we had sheets that were not clean. We had a great time but could have done without these hassles on our holiday. The shower was fixed during our stay but we weren’t told the plumber was coming by the management company - he just showed up unannounced. Disappointing level of service from ray white generally

Open, spacious, and has literally everyrhing you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday experience.The Ray White team was so accommodating to our needs and to ensure we had the holiday everyone needed. Great holiday, great island, perfect vacation.

Great Location

We really enjoyed this property for the indoor and outdoor space to spread out, its location, and its large kitchen and living space. The fenced-in yard was great for enjoying evening yard games or a morning coffee without worrying about escaping toddlers. The only drawback to the house was the air con. It was quite hot when we were there, and the only air con unit was in the living area, and it has an auto shut-off. There were no units in the bedrooms, so it made it quite hot to sleep, as the cool air didn’t reach the bedrooms well, and we kept having to turn the unit back on during the night to try and keep it cool. We tried to open the windows at night instead, but it didn’t quite get cool enough to make it comfortable. That said, there were fans in all the bedrooms. We would definitely consider renting again during cooler months.

Amazing House close to everything!

This property was breathtaking from the moment we arrived. Huge living area and bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms and a kitchen to die for! Super impressed with the house and a great location that is close to all beaches and shops if needed. Would definatly stay there again

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay as the house is spacious, airy and well appointed. The yard is also very safe for young children. The location is excellent with a short walk to Point Lookout, safe family beaches and the pub.The only downside was the poor standard of the cleaning throughout, in particular the shower drains in the two bathrooms. The shower drains had not been cleaned prior to our stay which caused both bathrooms to immediately flood when the showers were used. The drains were very easy to clean so possibly they hadn't been done for some time.

Fantastic house in a great location.

The house has been well renovated and was very comfortable for our two families. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are in a very spacious single area, and the location was perfect for walking to Cylinder, Deadman's and Frenchman's beaches, aswell as the Gorge Walk. We will definitely look to see if this house is available next time we come to Straddie.

Bedella’s Beauty

Amazing location, just around the corner from Point Lookout. Not too far from to Cylinder Beach. House has a great layout for multiple family to share accommodation. Two stunning bathrooms. We loved our stay here. If travel with 10 or more people again we definitely book Bedella again.
