A great place for a magic holiday

More than we expected - spacious, very comfortable, well equipped, lots of interesting books and art. Brilliant!

Homie feel

The stay I had was amazing. Staying at the saltwater had a very homie feel. It was very quiet but still in the heart of everything. Will definitely come back and stay again

Stradbroke getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing location and the home had a lovely layout. It was especially nice to have views from all the windows. It wasn’t super clean though - crumbs on floor, sand still in the shower. Aside from the extra cleaning we’d definitely choose to stay here again.

worn, stingy with soap, towels, toilet paper, coffee. Location great but the place is not worth the money for what you get. The towels are the smallest I have ever seen and no spare ones. No towel for the Powder room. 3 coffee pods. The list goes on just stingy owners.

Reviewer Comments: This is a great unit with lots of space, we were pleasantly surprised with the great location & views of the ocean from a spacious deck & living areas. Bedrooms are large enough for three couples easily & loved having wardrobe space & the extra toilet up in the living area, will definitely come back soon.

Great spot, some small changes could make it a lot better.

We really liked the place but there some things that could really easily be improved and lift the overall experience. The cleaning was very poor. There were stains on the sheets and food crumbs even whole crackers between the sofa units and it just felt unclean. A few little things like providing some cooking oil, bin liners, dishwasher tablets or a spare roll of toilet paper would go a long way to improving the experience. Even if these extras were built into the price it would definitely improve guest experience to not have to start from scratch with certain very basic supplies.

The apartment is a lot larger than it sounds with views across to the sea, located near all the boardwalks with impressive views and dining options out the front.The apartment is perfect for a family, large smart tv for streaming movies if the weather isn't that great, a well equipped kitchen and a great deck for watching the whales

Saltwater 4 is a great place to stay at Straddle

Reviewer Comments: The property was in a fantastic location with very easy walk to shops and the Gorge and we enjoyed seeing whales from the unit to both the north and south. The unit was very well equipped. Our only criticism would be that the doonas could do with covers to hide stains. In saying that we have already decided to stay there again. We would gladly recommend this unit and the fantastic staff at Ray White .

A beautiful spacious home

Saltwater - Stradbroke Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Unit 4 of “Saltwater” at Straddie August 2021. The apartment was clean, spacious and had better than expected views of the ocean. We were lucky to see a whale from the deck of the apartment on our last day which was a lovely send off. Would highly recommend for couples or a family as it’s such a short walk to shops and Main Beach. Also well equipped with cutlery and crockery. The sun lounge needs repair though as if In working order, would have been a real sunbathing asset! Thanks again RW Stradbroke Island for the stay.

Modern Comfortable Unit

We had a lovely 6nights at this property overlooking Point lookout, there was plenty of walks to do. When it was raining there was a good sized TV with foxtel and a really comfortable couch. It felt like home for us we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you we will be back again!

Wonderful getaway!

Property ticked all our boxes. Having the different levels allowed us and our teens to have our own space when needed. Plenty of room also for when we all come together. Can’t wait to come back.

Great location, views and well equipped but...

Let me start by saying that under usual circumstances this would be a great place to stay. It is in a great spot near icecream, fish and chips, bakery and cafes. It have great views from the verandah and dining room. It is well equipped you can cook whatever you want it has absolutely everything. Its very comfortables and decked out in nice furnishings. The layout is also great! However all this was ruined by the fact that they decided to replace the roof while we were there. My understanding from the real estate was that it would be a minor inconvenience. This was not the case. There was constant noise banging and stomping across the roof from 7am to 6pm for 4 of the 6 days we stayed. We were unable to use the double garage due to utes and a lift being parked in front of the garage. When they removed the skylights dirt and dust fell into the stairwell which we had to clean up. The response from the real estate was pretty much nothing apart from a email blaming the building. Very disappointing.

lovely views, a half minute walk to the Point and all Point amenities and walks; great batterie de cuisine in the kitchen for all the holiday cooks, like i am! really appreciated the garage entry. best was looking out the window from the dining tables (both directions) to the Pacific...

Fabulous holiday unit

We have stayed at Saltwater 4 several times and think of it as home away from home. Fantastic location, beautifully furnished and right next door to gelato!

There is heaps of room in the apartment and the views are spectacular! Breezes from all angles and everything you need for the perfect Straddie holiday.

Amazing

I thought the property was amazing and very clean and the decor and layout were just perfect. The location was also perfect. The beds were very comfortable and I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone. I do anticipate returning for another visit as the whole booking process and the staff were fantastic. Thankyou so much for a wonderful holiday. The only thing that could have been more convenient would be wifi in the apartment, but the staff at Ray White provided me with a mobile modem so I could access work emails while staying on Straddie.
