Upstairs, there are three bedroomsā€”one queen and four singlesā€”opening onto a large deck, perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Downstairs features a fully self-contained queen bedroom, ideal for another family or group, with no internal stairs connecting the levels. The property is fully fenced and has a pleasant garden with a gas BBQ, providing a safe, inviting space for all.

With four bedrooms, two kitchens (including dishwasher and microwave), two TVs, top-load washing machine and dryer, and split-system air conditioning, this home has everything you need for a comfortable island escape. Availability is rare due to its combination of comfort, privacy, and affordability, so book early to secure your stay!

First Time Visit to Stradbroke

His assessment was spot on.The fully fenced yard gave security for small children, vehicles and family dog.The well appointed upstairs and downstairs areas allowed for people to gather together,spread out or have privacy if required. Outdoor verandah areas likewise.Accessibility to all locations was great - within easy walking distance. Both patrolled and less crowded beaches available within minutes. The sunsets were a must and again, virtually on Coberay's doorstep.Kitchen, laundry facilities were adequate.

The weather was beautiful... some windy, blustery days and nights, and some of those beautiful big blue sky days. Coberay is a perfect house for having family come and stay. Being pet friendly I could take my dog and went for long walks on the beach.There are usually a few minor cleaning issues such as the kitchen windows and fly screens needing a good clean but as the property is so popular there is probably never a free time for a deep clean.The other qualities of the house make up for small issues like that.There had been a refurbish since we were last there in 2019.The gardens are lovely.

Great wrap around deck that is fully gated so our young daughter was safe. Kitchen has everything you need. The only negative is the bedrooms are quite hot and only have standing fans that are dusty.

Last year we had no aircon for the whole week and this year, no dishwasher. Things happen I understand but expecting us to just cop it with no concession is a little disappointing. Also, the cooking equipment downstairs needs looking at. Virtually no baking equipment at all, and a small skillet. The electric frypan is really bad. I took a pic that I'll send you.

Weā€™ve stayed there multiple times because it is so well maintained and set up, spacious, has lovely outdoor verandahs, an enclosed yard for the children to play, allows pets and is in a wonderful location on the beach side of the road close to Deadmans and Cylinder beaches and the beginning of the beauriful Whale Walk trail which takes you to the Point Lookout George walk. Faboulus viewings of whales breaching, pods of dolphins, turtles and sighting wallabies and sometimes a koala en route.
