This is a fantastic house in the heart of Seattle! Walk up the stairs to the Fremont bridge and explore the coolest neighborhood in Seattle or take the bus or drive 10 minutes to downtown, Ballard, or University District.

House sits above a private marina and is right on the shores of beautiful lake union between the Fremont & Aurora bridges. It’s perfect for families, a group of friends, a venue for business meeting or just to indulge away from the hustle of downtown. There is absolutely nothing like the relaxation you’ll experience watching the boats go by on our deck. Boat space may be available depending on size and availability.

Two stories, sweeping views, five beautiful bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, sauna, full-size gorgeous kitchen, and incredible decks that look at gasworks park and south lake union. This is only one of three homes on the lake that was built over the water like this. It is a 3000sf family home that was built in 1975. It has fun architecture and beautiful details that everyone falls in love with.

The house is walking distance to Fremont - Very easy transit options, bike friendly, and free limited parking is available on site.

This is a great house for families, a group of friends, work conference home base, weddings, celebrations or a honeymoon escape. It’s large enough for a group, the area is relaxing, for a great Seattle experience.

This is a hidden gem right on the busiest lake in Seattle. You will be delighted with how peaceful it is, and at the same time, in the middle of everything the city has to offer. Be prepared to hear the horns of the boats, and rising of the bridge. Watch the seaplanes take off, go get breakfast in Fremont, and then rent a paddleboard for a couple hours. Soak up the Seattle feel - lounging on our beautiful deck. The house was designed and built by our parents in 1975. It has a retro feel, elegant touches like marble bathrooms and antique furniture pieces. Large open floor plan, a breezeway upstairs with views from the many windows & decks.

To be able to host a group of people in a place like this is remarkable in Seattle and for the price you will be extremely happy for the investment. World Cup Fans Welcome! Bienvendios!

You will never want to leave this amazing home. Waterfront bliss

Lisa and Leslie are great hosts. We came to Seattle to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation and had family and friends to celebrate with. Lisa and Leslie graciously made it possible to have a small gathering of 20-25 people. The weather was amazing. From sun up to sun down you can sit on the deck and watch water life unfold. Hear the Fremont bridge opening to allow boats through. It is a short 5 minute walk over the bridge to the adorable area of Fremont. We took buses to downtown and back - easy to navigate. Our Lyft driver had a hard time locating the house when we first arrived, but all worked out. The house is open and light. You feel at home. The kitchen was prefect for our needs, everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, so we all slept well. The water pressure in all the bathrooms was super. Never got a chance to soak in the deep jacuzzi tubs, hopefully next time. Communication with Lisa was great, questions answered and ideas given. Even 3 of us took a quick swim in the marina, yes the water was cold, but amazingly refreshing. Our daughter is getting married in a year or two, so we plan to be back. Thank you Lisa and Leslie for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful Property

I can't say enough about how awesome this place is. We celebrating our daughters graduation from UW with family and friends. It is a great place to entertain. The views are fantastic. They house is well stocked, and very clean. It is close to most everything you need. The marina is great, and we loved people and boat watching. Leslie and Lisa were great hosts. I will be coming back again.

The property was in a perfect location with access to everything Seattle has to offer! It was extremely unique and the owner was very responsive. My husband and I had a family & friends gathering reception here and the venue was perfect for an intimate and enjoyable time.

Wonderful Stay

This was an amazing home on the lake to use as our base for our Sons wedding in Seattle. Easy to get to, plenty of nearby parking. We had 9 adults staying plus other family coming and going, yet we never felt cramped. Spacious with comfy rooms and plenty of areas to gather and chat or go to for quiet. Cant beat the views and the large back deck above the water with fire table was great to hang around. Lastly, we can’t say enough about how great the owners are. Very accommodating as the wedding had to be reset 3 times due to the pandemic and allowing us to host a dinner. Highly recommended!

Great times on the lake!

We had a fabulous time during our stay. The property was spacious with plenty of room to spread out and social distance. We did a boat tour of the lake and they were even able to pick us up and drop us off at the house. Was an amazing way to spend my 40th birthday.

Unmatched location

Our small group of extended family gathered at the stunning location for a special weekend. The home is well stocked and had plenty of room for us to spread out, which was key during this pandemic and family members coming from different states. The urban Marine setting is a fabulous experience, whether you're watching the sunrise over the lake and bridges or having a cocktail at sunset on the expansive deck.

We had an amazing time. The house is beautiful. Amazing indoor/outdoor space with views of the lake. Hosts were very kind and responsive to everything. Great location with excellent walkability to restaurants in Fremont. Everything you could want for a summer getaway in Seattle. Will definitely stay again!

A Retreat on Lake Union

Fantastic location for a urban getaway. Watch the boats come in and go out as you sip coffee in the morning or wine at night. Kayak or paddle board from your back door and enjoy a bbq on the deck. Loved our stay here.

A wonderful weekend in Seattle with our family

A unique home, wonderful location, great views of water bridge, wildlife and boats out the windows. Lots of books to read and games to play. Great kitchen nicely stocked with basics. Manager was very nice to deal with, so helpful! Great memories were made!

Beautiful and unique property- true Seattle experience!

My family stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a fabulous time. They couldn’t get over the amazing location and the unique Seattle experience of staying in the marina, which contributed significantly to making this such a special trip. We highly recommend staying here with your family!! The host is also wonderful and easy to communicate with.

Still Fabulous!

This is the second year in a row that my siblings, spouses and mom (7 adults) celebrated early Thanksgiving in this wonderful and unique home. (Everything I wrote in last years review is still true.) There is a master bedroom (and a 2nd bedroom) on the main level so our 92 year old mom doesn’t have to climb stairs. The 3 upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are huge with fabulous views. We cook a lot and the kitchen has everything we need. We had four people cooking at one time with plenty of room. As wonderful as the inside of the house is, my favorite thing is the incredible deck that is literally over the water. We spent time every night sitting outside under the stars and gorgeous moon. The owners have many soft, cozy blankets waiting by the sliders so you can stay warm while enjoying the gas fire pit, parade of boats and beautiful city lights. And some great Washington wine. The location can’t be beat. You can walk across the Fremont Bridge to the grocery store, shops, restaurants, brew pubs and more. You can drive downtown or to the UofW in 10 minutes without even getting on the freeway. The owners, Leslie and Lisa, are always available if you need anything. They love their home, and it shows. You will love it too.

On The Water Wonder!

This amazing house on the water is spectacular inside and out. We loved everything about it, from the spacious rooms and decks to the cozy nooks to the whirlpool bathtubs and sauna. The huge kitchen and comfortable seating for all was great and equally matched by the plentiful deck seating. The lake views are to die for and especially enjoyable since there is so much activity with all the water sports and boating. It is truly a beautiful home in a beautiful place!

Fabulous Marina House!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Marina House! We were in Seattle for our daughter's wedding. The whole family stayed here including our grandson. It was equipped with safety gates, Pac-n-play and high chair. There was even a room for the other set of grandparents, who came along to watch the little guy while his parents were at the wedding. Grandson slept in the Master Suite walk in closet. His own little room away from the noise yet close to his parents. (I was amazed at how quiet all of the bedrooms were, once the doors closed.) The Ship Canal Bike/Walking path was right out the front door. perfect for a stroller ride. We had wedding guests that were coming to Seattle for the first time. They were able to stop by on the way from the airport to their own check in. What fun for them to experience an iconic Marina House on Lake Union. Lisa and Leslie were so very easy to communicate with and gave us great information about quirks of the house. Because of this we didn't have any trouble but they were always willing to come and help us if we did. We found it helpful to text Uber drivers that we were in a boat house. That way they knew to come down the hill and not keep looking for the address up on the main street. This was truly a great place to stay.

Great location to all Seattle attractions

Our group of 9 really enjoyed our stay at the Marina House. The property was very clean and was exactly as described. We arrived to fresh flowers and fans running to create a natural breeze from the water. Lots of sitting areas inside and a huge deck overlooking the water outside.
