Welcome to our newly remodeled lakefront retreat on Owasco Lake in the picturesque Finger Lakes Region. The stunning cottage boasts a large open room with picturesque views of the water-perfect for soaking in the beauty of nature. Step outside and unwind on our spacious deck just a few steps to the water and dock. Our channel is perfect for young and old alike. Loved by many generations our lakefront oasis is the ideal destination for family vacations or getaways.

Inside you'll find an updated kitchen with stainless appliances perfect for preparing delicious meals after a day of water sports or exploring local wineries and shops. Or grill on our gas grill overlooking hands down the best sunsets on Owasco Lake. Later, gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars. Accommodations for up to 8 guests including A/C & washer/dryer. This home offers comfort and convenience. Flat yard for play! Plenty of parking. Primary bedroom and full bath are on the first level. 3 other bedrooms on the 2nd. Newly added 2nd Floor full bathroom with large tiled walk-in shower.

Spend your days swimming, fishing in the great fishing spots nearby, boating (marina rentals). Choose to play yard games on our on our expansive waterfront lawn or on the .25-acre lot behind our cottage. Games like cornhole, Kan-jam, wiffle ball are available for renters use as well as two single kayaks, a 3 person canoe & one stand up paddle board + life preservers. Our home provides easy access to all The Finger Lakes Region has to offer. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, our lakefront retreat is sure to exceed your expectations. Great trip!

We had a great trip! The location is great - a rare flat, grassy yard with a beach on a nice quiet road! This is a wonderful house families. The spent the whole time in the water and lawn. The house was clean and had all that we needed!

Beautiful surroundings and sunset

My family of 5 had a very pleasant stay with beautiful lake views and breathtaking sunsets. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy for us to prepare meals. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would stay there again.

Great trip!

We wanted a spot on a lake to see the solar eclipse since it was in the path of totality. The place was perfect for our family and the house is so great. We would love to come back when it is warmer so we can go swimming!

Amazing stay

Great location with beautiful sunsets. Beautifully decorated and quaint lake house. The additional window AC and fans made the temperature comfortable as it’s was very hot and humid on the days we stayed. Many amenities but use of the paddle board and kayaks, and a the fire pit was our favorite part! Wi-Fi and TV with streaming service was great for movie night on the evenings it rained. We would definitely rent this property again!

For starters, we arrived at the home and parking was confusing since there were cars in the driveway and cars parked in the grass where we were told to park. Reached out to the host and didnt receive a response until 9:30pm. The House looked as if it was a very rushed quick clean. 1st lever shower stunk and there was sand/gravel in the shower, spots on the mirror. The Split level A/C units barely work and one slightly better then the other. 1st level hardly blows cold air. The one upstairs in the bedroom leaks all over the place. Fortunately the window units blow a bit better. Thankfully we brought fans. We did a walk-through and fou d alot of things damaged and non existent compared to the listing photos so we took our own pictures in case anything came up. There were some dents in the walls, flooring coming up and peaking. The refrigerator randomly turns the tep up and down on its own, along with a shelf in the fridge that doesn't stay put. The dishwasher control panel is broken and falls off when you open the thing. The gas heater/fireplace wall plate isnt attached and just hanging. 1st floor bedroom door doesn't close and a door knob is missing. 1st floor coke cooler fridge door handle broken and laying on the floor. There are multiple holes in the patio screen slide door and missing handle so its very hard to close when you are outside. Then the listing shows there 5 beds in total and home sleeps 11. There is ZERO CHAMCE it sleeps 11. Each room has 1 small bed. 4 in tot

Spectacular Sunsets

The cottage is nice, roomy and comfortable. It is right on the lake and the kayaks are fun to use. The location is fantastic with great views. You will not believe the sunsets. We definitely want to go back.

Great cottage for family reunion.

The cottage is very nice and fully stocked. The views were gorgeous. My only comment is that there were no outdoor tables to go with the many outdoor chairs that were available. Luckily my one brother lived close so they brought a folding plastic table so we could eat outside.

Beautiful and convenient lake house

Nicely renovated and a well equipped kitchen for a family vacation at the lake. We loved having our boat at the dock in the backyard and grilled out every night on the back deck. An outdoor table would be a great addition but overall loved the place. Thanks!

Beautiful property, amazing experience

I almost don’t want to write this because I want this house to be available again next summer! This was one of the best places we’ve stayed. Gorgeous location, the house was so pristine it felt like we were the first people ever staying there. And it was so well and thoughtfully stocked-paddleboard, kayaks, life jackets, lawn games, board games, brand new towels and dishes and everything you could ever want. It was such a delightful trip-we can’t wait to come back! Thank you to the fabulous owners and family-everyone was so kind and made our visit so easy and comfortable!

Another Great Stay at this Home

This is our second year at this home and it was wonderful! Maura is very attentive. They continue to make improvements to an already lovely home. You can’t beat the sunsets! The addition of a second kayak was perfect. We look forward to another stay here next year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Owasco Lake House

My family and I had a wonderful time at this lovely property. It is furnished nicely and the kitchen is updated, with everything you need to cook or BBQ. The beach/ lake area is nice and shallow which is great for little ones. The sunsets are beautiful!!!

Best view on the Lake

The house was beyond our expectations! It was very clean, filled with everything anyone would need, and the view was great. The sunsets were spectacular. The owner answered all of our questions and responded very quickly. We would definately stay again.

This place is tremendous. Great location on the lake, beautiful sunsets, and very nice house. There are plenty of games and water activities. The cottage layout is excellent. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with.

Fun family time over Labor Day Weekend

The house is newly renovated and beautiful, with great, neutral, attractive design choices. The downstairs is lovely, with lots of seating, great views, a big deck (with almost too many chairs - it was crowded!). There was a nice selection of games - maybe add a jigsaw puzzle! Very nice towels - maybe a couple of extra dish towels would be nice. The kitchen had almost everything needed, except an ice cream scooper and a rubber spatula (and maybe another hot mitt and some trivets would be nice). We bought firewood and marshmallow sticks to use in the lovely fire pit. It was too cold for swimming but we appreciated that there were pool noodles. And there were a good variety of life jackets as well - maybe one more child one and one more extra large one would be ideal. The 2 single kayaks are great but if the owners add a tandem kayak it would be even better for our family of 4 next time - and we do hope to return to this lovely home! The owner is so friendly and helpful and got back quickly over text when we had questions, including about the location of one of the kayaks and when we locked ourselves out! Her father-in-law lives next door and lent us a hose to hose down the kayak and also lent us his key when we were locked out. Really went above and beyond in that, and we're very grateful! Very minor issues that didn't detract from a wonderful vacation: the downstairs bed moves/bounces a lot, the toilet runs a bit unless you jiggle the handle between flushes, and the walls on the second floor between rooms don't go all the way to the ceiling, which means noise and light travel between the rooms easily. We really enjoyed our few days at this home, and we and the kids didn't want to leave when our vacation was over! We look forward to returning!

Beautiful Area and House

The house is in a beautiful area of the lake. So easy to get to and nice level property. The lake is shallow for a long distance, so it's great for small children. The owner is wonderful and responded quickly to all my questions. House is open, light and airy. Everything we needed was there. Only negative is having one bathroom. But we knew this when we rented the house. Overall, we had a great time!

Beautiful Cottage

Fabulous House!

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Maura is a fantastic homeowner of this property and made our stay super easy. She was very responsive whenever I contacted her. Wonderful neighbors were there. We had a great and relaxing time. The water was beautiful! I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful lakeside get away

Wonderful place to stay on Owasco lake! House is newly renovated, clean, and stocked with everything you need to have a great time! Hosts are easy to contact and very accommodating. We loved the open living room with large windows that looks out onto the deck/ lake. The deck is great for grilling and eating out on, and is conveniently located close to the beach so we were able to watch our young kids play in the water while getting meals ready. Truly great setup for families. We will be back!

Bill grew up in Auburn NY. This home was his family lake house. Bill's family originally bought the home next door in 1953 and lived there full time. Eventually this property was for sale in 1956 and Bill's grandfather bought it for a summer cottage. Bill's parents eventually took it over and in the late 80's built the double garage and loft. We renovated that space in 2023. We bought it years ago and just renovated it to include updated amenities like a split system (A/C & heat) stainless appliances, trex decking new flooring and more. We added a full bath with large walk-in shower in January 2025. We reside in Rhode Island now and rent this beauty out to families and friends when we are not enjoying the space ourselves. We have 4 children. They have enjoyed many memories at the lake home and never miss a week together for our family vacation. Bill and I now sleep in the loft with when everyone comes for the week in July.

We absolutely LOVE our Burtis Point neighbors and neighborhood. Everyone is friendly and take pride in their properties. The flat roads are conducive to walks running and bike rides. The sunsets cannot be matched and the vibe of the area is relaxing and just serine.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We have 82 feet of Lake Frontage!! All FLAT!! We have an additional 1/4 acre of grass on the other side of the road where our guests have ample parking and a huge field for play! Our cottage sleeps 7 people comfortably and this year we just added. Our channel is great for swimming and fishing and the sunsets are the best on the lake.
