Great friendly guests who I would have back anytime, and left the cabin spotlessly clean. They had amazing weather and were able to enjoy our beach and private bay. Very kindly shared their catch of fish.

The cabin was tidy and the private little bay right at your door was beautiful. Check in and out was so easy. Host was lovely and accomodating. 10/10 experience.

Just magical

Had the most amazing time at this beautiful place. Really was blown away by the location and the property. Everything was just perfect.

This family were a pleasure to have at my cabin and property. They truly appreciated the location and loved the private beach view and bush. Their mum and mum in law was from England and it was a true pleasure sharing it with her and her nz based family. They left the cabin spotless. I would love to host them again

Cabin was cozy but beds were very uncomfortable if you are a larger person which i am, no oven, it would have been nice if we were aware of this beforehand especiallysince it is totally off grid. Host is lovely. The view and the area is absolutely stunning and great fishing.

Great cabin right by the water

Awesome location, especially being right next to the water. The cute little cabin easily slept our family of 4 and had everything we needed. Our host Sheryl was fantastic. Weather was a bit rough just after the cyclone but we still enjoyed our time there and wished we could have stayed a bit longer!

Beautiful Private Bay

We could not have asked for a more stunning setting for our first vacation post lockdown. The beautiful private bay offered all our favourite activities kayak fishing, rock collecting and even though it was the middle of Winter a dip in the water for our 9 year old. The cabin was well equipped and cosy. Sheryl was a fantastic host who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Look forward to visiting again!

This couple and their gorgeous young girl are the reason we decided to build a cabin to share our piece of paradise. It was very obvious meeting them and then seeing how they enjoyed all of what our property provided, was truly heartwarming. They were a pleasure to host plus left the cabin spotlessly clean. We look forward to hosting them again soon.

Slice of Heaven

A private paradise, where you can swim, fish, sleep, and rejuvenate. Tidy and easy care cabin , off the grid, barbeque every night if you wish, read a book, look at the stars. Lovely host who made your stay that little extra special. I hope to be back some day :)

Outstanding Hideaway

What a fantastic stay with an exceptional location, excellent facilities and an amazing host. This place has it all; privacy, beach, safe swimming, boating, diving, day trips up the cape and to the surf and enough fishing to secure a respectful take for dinner. An amazing host that respects privacy and was spot on with help, advice and a friendly conversation (not to mention the baking!!). Thanks for a great stay!!!!

I enjoyed sharing my property with this lovely couple. There is nothing more heartwarming than to see people enjoying and appreciating your land cabin and beach. They also left the cabin and area spotless. I would have these two back to stay anytime.

Beautiful Spot in the Far North

Amazing spot to escape to - a private beach that you only share with the owners! The cottage had everything you need for comforts of home but felt like being off the grid. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely guests who I think enjoyed a quiet restful stay and we enjoyed chatting about the Northland area and the old days when he holidayed around the local Northland. Lovely couple who I would love to have stay again.

A truly iconic and thoroughly enjoyable experience to be able to share this piece of paradise. The site was priceless and the peace and tranquility wonderful. Sheryl was a good host, giving us total privacy but connecting to check on our needs and to have a chat. It was also nice to be “offline” for a while, and off grid, and enjoy the environment.

A place to relax

We had such a great time in this little piece of paradise. It doesn’t get much better than a private beach and a boat ramp at your doorstep. Great outdoor furniture set up and kitchen views. Awesome host, who made us feel so welcome and even more grateful to be there. Cabin was small but well equipped. We will certainly be keen to return.

These four people were an absolute pleasure to host. They endeared themselves to me and the land the way in which they loved and respected our piece of paradise. Their love of the sea beach and environment was a pleasure to witness, especially when they walked the land to capture the outstanding sea views and gorgeous landscape. They fell in love with our whau bay.

Beachfront Paradise

This propery is secluded, peaceful and a great place to rest and unwind. We had the whole beach to ourselves which was fantastic. The fishing and diving is great too. Sheryl was a great host, friendly and made sure we were well catered for.
