Sunset South 68 #2 is just a few steps to the beach! This cute 2 bedroom 1 full bath and 1 half bath ocean block 2rd floor condo offers a great mid-town location, near restaurants, shops and family fun. Shared laundry facility on site. Bed sizes include 1 queen and 2 singles, and queen sleeper in living room. Guest provide sheets and towels. An optional linen package is available for this property. Linens would be delivered to the condo for your arrival. A set would include a sheet set for each bed and a towel set for the occupancy of the condo. You will be able to add this option to your reservation for a fee if you wish.
One parking space. Smoking is not permitted on property grounds including balcony. Basic cable and no internet in off season. Property rents any 3 nights all season.
No pets, please. Our property owners do not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Not what we were expecting

The property is located very near the beach, just a short walk out the back door. This is where the positives ended for us. Upon entering the condo we found that the sofa bed was broken and didn't pull out, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was shaking so badly that we were afraid to turn it on because it looked like it would fall on us in the middle of the night, and the stove did not work correctly and sparked. We contacted the rental company and they sent a repair man the next day to fix the sofa bed but he said that he couldn't do anything about the fan and stove but the company should send an electrician and appliance repair man with in a day. They never did. When I tried to cook, the pots and pans were so dirty from age and previous use that little black flecks came off on everything I made. The knives were so dull that they couldn't cut anything. The sofa bed mattress was so thin that it was basically all springs and my kids couldn't even sleep on it so they had to take turns sleeping on the couch. The windows were so thin that we heard everyone in the condos next door all night long as if they were in the room with us. The finally straw was when we happened to look at the fire extinguisher on our last day only to see that it was on empty. Thank god that the faulty stove never lit on fire. The tile floors were chipped and the vents in the bathroom were coated with dust. I find it laughable that we had to pay a $65 nonrefundable damage deposit because there wasn't a single thing that we could have made any worse. The parking spots under the complex were so tight that if anyone had been parked on both sides of us, we would not have been able to pull out. Truly the only positive thing was the proximity to the beach. We made the best of it for our 3 kids because we knew that everything was booked up this summer but we will not be staying here again.

Love the quick beach access

There are so many great things to say about the area…everything is so close and easily accessible, clean, lots of things to do close by…the condo was pretty nice but definitely needs some repairs, the bathroom door doesn’t lock (broken), the banister rail (broken), the ceiling on the balcony (broken) the lamp in the second bedroom (broken) but everything else was very nice. The neighbors (long term renters) we’re a headache….one accused of us smoking in the condo (we don’t smoke). A guest of ours was outside smoking, which was quickly handled as there is no smoking on the grounds but the neighbor called the owner (not the rental company) and lied to try to get us in trouble by saying they watched us smoking in the condo so the rental lady stopped by to verify we weren’t. Which I loved cuz the accusing renter looked like a total arse and wouldn’t even look at us after that. The other neighbors dog barks all day and night. We couldn’t sit on the balcony because it stays on the adjoining balcony with a knee high baby gate as the only barrier between you and a snarling dog which tried to bite my 3 year old twice on the first day. All in all the condo was nice though a few repairs are needed and the location is great but with the dishonest neighbor 2 doors down and the vicious dog next door….we will be staying elsewhere next time.

Great place. Nice neighbors. And the owners was so great, helpful and friendly. The neighbors are friendly. No partying going on nice location with short walk to everything

Annoying neighbor and very unfriendly

The location was good...property ok. Rental could have been much cleaner. When we checked out it was cleaner than when we arrived. Overall it was a good week. Resident directly next door continually complained about the slightest bit of noise. That was extremely frustrating. No elevator and steps to unit not divulged in listing.

Nice

The property was located in a great area. The only complaint would be it wasn't cleaned up for us. We cleaned when we got there. Bathrooms, vacuuming etc. We had a great time though. We'd rent it again.
