Overall the location and property are ideal for a nice get away. The home is on the older side in terms of age but that doesn’t detract from its charm. Being a 1930s home, you get a vintage feel with the spacious downstairs, rooms, and outdoor area. The area for us felt safe, clean, and well kept. We had a slight issue with the pool but the contact host Josh responded promptly, was friendly, and did an amazing job to our query. I would recommend for location and price!

Excellent experience! We have stayed at a variety of homes and this was one of our favorites. Kids loved having a pool to cool off in and going for walks to the bay because location of house was so close. 100% recommend!

Family vacation

Its an older home, but up dated appliance, bathroom are really small, . Not really designed for small children because of stairs and tables having sharp corners (however already knew that from pictures) . Pool was nice for the size, just wished the hot actually got hot. I understand its Texas but wanted the hottub for late nights and muscles relief. Location was okay its an older neighborhood and close to a hospital so some noise was expected. Master bedroom and sunroom stay warmer than the rest of the house.

Weekend Stay for Daughter's Graduation

This was one of our most enjoyable experiences. The house is large, roomy yet cozy. It may have very well been the cleanest rental in the history of all rentals. Our family didn't have any complaints, at all. Close to the beach - just a super short drive. The neighborhood was nicely kept and quiet. The pool was a bit smaller than we thought....but it was absolutely perfect. Having coffee in the mornings listening to the birds and the water fall was dreamy. Didn't want to leave.

Not great for Families

Overall, this house doesn’t live up to the pictures. I understand that it is an old property, but it is less on the side of charming and more on the side of rundown. The family room and living room are great, but all other areas of the house are noticeably lower quality. The pool, which was the main reason we chose this property, is incredibly small and was not swimmable because it had so much debris and dirt in it. I emailed the property manager about how to get the pool heated and never heard back during our stay. As it turns out you need to go through a rundown shed that says keep door closed and find the heater among a bunch of other equipment.The neighbor is also not great. I know the owner replied that there are multimillion dollar homes, but a quick Zillow search would tell you that is not true. This property might be fine for adults only, but it was a disappointment for my family and we ended up cutting our stay short to find a pool we could actually swim in.

Great location and very roomy. Lovely home and decor. Have stayed before. The AC upstairs was not cooling as we would have liked. Previous stay had no AC issues. We would probably stay again as consider this a one off.

Best visit with daughter!

This was our first time to see our daughter (since she left for college) and this house was PERFECT!!! There was plenty of room and it was close to everything! We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay. Liked the location, the old feel of the house, with some modern renovations was very cool. Liked the pool, and hot tub. One of the only quirks I would recommend the owners make a priority on their do list, is the front door and the upstairs bathroom are tough to open and shut. We understood it’s an older home. It’s Just some of the girls in our group weren’t able to pull them shut. Other than that we loved our stay and will book again in the future.

Summer Stay

Very beautiful home. Decor and cleanliness were wonderful. The pool is what my family enjoyed the most. Very spacious inside and out. Had a hard time getting in touch with property manager at first but he responded after a few hours. One thing i would've liked were for the restrooms to be bigger but again its an older home and im sure it has its original restrooms. But very beautiful overall and everything we needed for our stay was there. Also quiet neighborhood.

Enjoyed our getaway

Older two story home but very clean and well kept property. Wish list : more pillows on the beds - larger downstairs full bathroom (currently has a super tiny half bath in the kitchen closet). We really enjoyed the private pool and spacious living area and kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy home minutes away from beach

All in all a great weekend. I did call and get instructions on how to make hot tub jets work but response was very fast. Jets did not blow much but heat was great so not a big deal. I did let owners know that the breaker for pool lights tripped after a few minutes, I think this was a comment in previous tenants, there was plenty of light from porch area so again not a big deal. Cozy, comfortable, and literally a minute away from the beach!!

Unsafe Location in Corpus Christi

The location of this house was in a questionable area. Bars on the windows proved that the area was not safe. We saw "homeless" close by pushing grocery carts. Neither my son nor my daughter felt that their children would be safe. You should put pictures of the community on your site. We ended up booking another Condo. "Seahorse Condos" in Padra Island. We felt safe there and had a wonderful time. I would not recommend your rental to anyone. We never even got out of the car. My family did not feel safe. We would appreciate a full refund since we felt that you did not reveal your true location and the unsafe area. Thanks Catherine West Lake Hills, TX
