Our home and rental apartments are conveniently located just off of the main road between Woodstock and Saugerties yet tucked away, surrounded by a lovely stream. This duplex (two floors) has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area downstairs, and a sitting room and bedroom upstairs. It is perfect for two couples, a family of 4 or any similar configuration. You have your own parking area, deck, grill, laundry facility and great privacy by the stream!
NON SMOKERS ONLY! NO SMOKING INSIDE OR ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.

Wonderful Saugerties Stay

This was the perfect place for a 2-couple reunion (2 brothers and their wives). The duplex set-up was ideal, providing both communal hangout space and private retreats. The place was clean and comfy. Our hosts were lovely and even provided us with a bottle of wine. We enjoyed chatting with them at the spacious backyard pool (heated and a delight!) The location was great, and we found excellent restaurants in Saugerties and Woodstock. Highly recommend Creekside!

Awesome stay

We had rented the duplex for 4 adults and it was perfect! Sheila and Richard are great hosts - they provided welcome drinks, brought watermelon for us at the pool, and even let us stay till 4pm since they did not have any booking till the next day (regular check out time is 11am). They live in the same property and were always available whenever we needed something. The creek behind the property was very relaxing. There are many good restaurants and hiking trails around. Highly recommended!!

Excellent stay with all the amenities

We loved staying at the creekside duplex! The view of the creek was amazing. The amenities set this place above many others - coffee, tea, granola, milk, and a bottle of wine were all there ready for us. All linens and shampoo/soap were also provided and the kitchen had all the cooking essentials. I would definitely recommend the creekside duplex and look forward to returning during warmer weather!

Beautiful property, comfy and tasteful accommodations

Such a gem of a location! While CreekSide is a short turn-off from 212, you feel hidden and surrounded by lovingly-tended nature. Rich and Sheila take excellent care of their property, and as we were visiting in July, all the flowers and gorgeously tended foliage were in bloom. Sheila is a thoughtful gardener, with an eye for color and has strategically placed containers with beautiful plants outside the duplex, and has cut flowers in vases to greet you. Rich has appointed the duplex with tasteful, clean and comfortable decorating, and thinks of all the details. It was just magical opening the french doors of our bedroom and walking out on to the deck with our morning coffee, sun gently peaking through the trees, as the brook babbles along. Our teenagers delighted in their large and well-kept pool. I can't say enough about Rich and Sheila's hospitality. We look forward to visiting again before too long!

Great Home Base

Rich was very quick to answer any queries prior to our visit, greeted us on arrival, and we were very confident we could contact him via phone or text if we needed anything. We stayed with four adults, needed four beds. The two big regular beds were very comfortable and Rich brought extra linens and helped us set up temporary beds. It was very convenient to have three full bathrooms. The kitchen has all the basic gadgets, some basic condiments, and milk! There was even detergent for the laundry and soap/shampoo/conditioner in the shower. Most rentals don't provide that! The place is pleasant during daylight, calm and quiet in the evening/night. There were decorations, but also enough space for us to fit our own belongings (in drawers, on tables, etc.). Good restaurant recommendations! Standard diner and pizza places nearby, but if you're going to go a little farther afield there is fine food, including Bread Alone (a wonderful bakery with some hot food). Overall very pleasant stay.

Wonderful and peaceful stay in the Catskills

We rented both units of this home for ourselves and adult " children". Accommodations were top notch and true to the pictures. We could be as private or together as we wanted. The grounds were beautiful and calming. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming and so very, very hospitable. Do not hesitate to Stay there if you have a chance!

Excellent and relaxing

Lovely and relaxing cottage on the edge of the creek--- very accommodating and friendly owners who care about making your stay great. Worked out perfectly and we only wished we could have spent more time there during a fast weekend celebrating our friend's birthday.

When can we go back?!

Creekside Vacation Lodging will not disappoint. Conveniently located, clean, quiet, resort-like perks with all the comforts of home. Went upstate for a friends/family weekend filled with hiking, kayaking and dining. Surprisingly enough, our time spent swimming at the house pool and socializing with the owners Rich and Shelia easily became the highlight of our trip. We were politely welcomed and made to feel at home from the second we drove up to the property. Lodging is well-maintained and equipped with everything you might need. Definitely a stay to remember. Can't wait to go back!

We are a retired elementary principal (Rich) and a child psychologist (Sheila) who have traveled throughout the world, staying in lodgings of all sorts. We purchased this lovely property and have fully renovated it to the standards that we ourselves would have wished for in our travels. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We purchased the property because of the stream, which wraps around it on three sides. Our renovations brought the sounds and the sights of the stream into the apartments and into our own dwelling (adjacent). The location is incredibly convenient - only 5 minutes to Saugerties, 7 minutes to Woodstock, 25 minutes to the Amtrak train station in Rhinecliff and minutes from some of the most beautiful hiking trails you can imagine.

Whether you want to relax by the stream, swim in the heated pool, or hike the many gorgeous trails and waterfalls close by, this place has it all. We are minutes to HITS horse shows and Woodstock and Saugeties town centers. Close to restaurants of all types and price ranges, theater, movies, music, art shows, shops, Zen and Tibetan monasteries and much more. We love that we are so close to cultural and consumer oriented activities but can choose to sit on the deck or on the grass, watch and listen to the natural sights and sounds; eat, swim and garden outside, not having to leave the sounds of the stream until we are fast asleep.
