Bluestone Escape is a thoughtfully curated home designed by NYC interior designer Rhobin DelaCruz. Each decision was carefully made with comfort and style as the foundation of all choices. Bluestone escape isn't just another rental, it's an experience. From hand picked artwork to the simpler detail of USB enabled outlets, Bluestone Escape will feel like the second home you are glad you have.

Welcome to Bluestone Escape: the home that gives you country living blended with urban sophistication. Perfect for time away from the City, romantic getaways or fun family vacations. Our art-filled, three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath, multi-level home is beautifully situated on a picturesque and tranquil pond.

You will be located in the heart of the Catskills and Hudson Valley, 10 minutes by car from the historic village of Saugerties. For great shopping and gourmet dining, Bluestone Escape is also easily-accessible to the Adams Market and the hip towns of Woodstock, Rhinebeck and Kingston. Close to dozens of hiking areas and 40 minutes from the Hunter Mountain ski resort. Also, a quick drive to the Omega Holistic Healing Center.

The House features lots of places to gather and chat or find a spot in the den to nestle on your own. A spacious living room, looking out on the pond, features a Roku-enabled ultra blu-ray, flatscreen TV for viewing Netflix, Amazon and a host of other viewing apps. There is a well-equipped, real cook’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, high-tech recessed lighting and gourmet cookware. A few steps down, there is a cozy room which we’ve endearingly named the “Library”, with working brick fireplace for quiet reading and intimate conversations. For your convenience, there is a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.

Bluestone features three comfortable and cozy bedrooms set up with one king, one queen and a modern bunk bed that sleeps up to three. The serene, spacious master bedroom includes a very private en suite bathroom and it’s very own deck.

Enjoy the beautiful, versatile outdoor spaces, A large front lawn rolls down to the pond. Two beautifully furnished outdoor decks include ample seating, a barbecue gas grill and a pool.

Visit Bluestone Escape and feel like you have your best friend’s posh country house all to yourself.

Very relaxing stay

The three of us had a great stay. Rhobin was a very responsive and gracious host. The house was comfortable with plenty of areas to relax as a group or alone, inside and outside. You could tell that a lot of thought was put into making a guest feel at home. Would definitely recommend.

Upstate escape

Rhobin was wonderful to work with! The house was amazing, clean, stocked and equipped with anything you might need. We loved the proximity to multiple restaurants, local shopping and fun things to do for adults and kids while still feeling like a true getaway. We highly recommend.

Relaxing in the Hudson Valley

Since we’ve never been to the region before we chose this house mostly for its location and pool. It was hot that week, so the pool provided a refreshing end to each day. Everything was clean and well placed.

Summer vacation

The house was great. The host is very generous with cleaning, cooking needs. Lots of towels. Easy communication with host. Pool was warm. Pool toys were included too. The grocery store was a bit "far", 10 min drive and there is nothing within walking distance. The house is situated in a pretty neighborhood.

Beautiful, cozy house

Just got back from a wonderful winter weekend at Bluestone Escape with my husband, our two young children and friends who also have a toddler. We loved the house and had such a wonderful time. The decorating is absolutely beautiful but the house is still completely cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of room and so many great spots to hang out - our favorite was the adorable library. While we couldn't take advantage of the expansive outdoor decks due to lots of snow, we did discover another fabulous feature: the perfect sledding hill! Rhobin was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and even introduced us to a babysitter so we could enjoy a kid-free dinner in adorable downtown Saugerties. We would love to return during any season!

Beautiful house and surroundings

We’ve stayed here twice, and both times were so pleasant, we can’t wait to come back! The house has a great layout, with a lovely view of the ponds and all the birds that visit. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the location is conveniently situated. Rhobin is very responsive and helpful! We love it here!

Loved our stay!

A beautiful property, would be even more fun in the summer weather with the pool and comfortable deck area. Everything was well provided, and our host was extremely responsive to any text. The only correction we would make to the listing is that there are only TWO full baths plus a powder room.

Amazing stay

Our group of 3 couples (and 2 dogs) had an amazing stay at Bluestone Escape. The location is wonderful, close to great towns but also rural enough to get outside and disconnect from the world. The house was clean, stylish and comfortable. And Rhobin was the most attentive host I'd dealt with on VRBO. She was incredibly thoughtful, thorough and responsive. I recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a top place to stay.

Nice House for the Family Vacation

We stayed in Bluestone Escape for 12 days at the end of August. The house literally has everything you will need. It's very easy to communicate Rhobin. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Relaxing week in Bluestone

Had a lovely week at the property. The house is comfortable and the outside is an oasis. Loved the pool and all the amenities of the house. Incredibly well stocked kitchen and pantry. Host was a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive.

Truly Perfect

We stayed at the Bluestone Escape in July and cannot say enough about this property. Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed the serene setting of the pond and rolling lawn which we had not seen/noticed in the online pics. When we entered the house, we were even more impressed. The lay out of the house was perfect for our family of four adults and the stylish design was impressive. Rhobin was attentive from the moment we arrived and her statements in our earlier conversations that "we need not bring anything" was spot on. The place was fully equipped with everything necessary for a lovely stay. The bed in the master bedroom may be one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced! Little touches throughout the house really added to the experience. Lounging on the reclining leather chair while watching the array of birds coming for their snack from the window bird feeder was a real hit! We definitely recommend this property to anyone who has high standards and is looking for an upstate getaway.

Nice place for a quiet getaway!

Lovely home, nicely decorated, everything you could possibly need to have a nice quiet vacation. Tons of nice touches, like the spices and other knick-knacks you might need to cook with in pantry and gas and pellet grills on the deck. Puzzles and movies for the rainy day and fast internet for streaming and/or working. Location is a short drive from little towns and tons of outdoor fun, hiking, waterfalls, etc.

Great house

This property was absolutely stunning. The house is very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The location is very private and quiet. The house had everything you could ask for, kitchen was well stocked with all possible necessities. Owner was very responsible and friendly. Perfect home if you showing at HITS! It was our lucky place! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at this property for a weekend, and we found it to be a wonderful layout for our family, which included a toddler. It is in a beautiful, quiet setting but close to many things. The home was very clean and had anything we could possibly need. The owner was very kind, reasonable, and responsive. My only negative comment is that the listing clearly stated 3 full bathrooms (plus a half), but there were definitely only 2 (plus a half). It really did not matter to us, but I could see how it might be an unexpected issue for another group. Overall, it was a great stay and I would highly recommend it!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I and our two kids (age 5 & 7) plus my sister stayed for a few days during while we were going through a house reno back home. It was the perfect getaway for our crew! The house was so welcoming and perfectly laid out with every detail taken into consideration. Rhobin was a fantastic host and always accessible when we needed him. He gave us great recommendations for the area and we ended up staying an extra day because we enjoyed our stay so much. Highly recommend. I look forward to coming back in warmer weather when we can take full advantage of the pool and outside amenities.

Bluestone Winter Weekend

Fireplace in the library was perfect for a very cold, windy weekend. And we used the convenient smoker and grill, right outside the kitchen door, in spite of the cold to fix some steaks. Also, a variety of birds came to the feeder right in front of the living room window to entertain us. Very nice, comfortable house.

Quiet Hudson valley retreat

House is in excellent condition, immaculately clean and with all appliances etc in good working order. Owners clearly care about their guests’ experience, with the house in great shape and helpful suggestions of local shops (definitely try the chocolate place!) and attractions. There are many nearby parks with short walks (just a few miles) with great views of the Hudson. Living room and downstairs libraries are both cozy for hanging out, with comfortable seating accommodating the whole family. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house to rest and relax in!

Our daughter, her 3 month old son, my wife and I stayed here four nights in October. The beautiful split level house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Rhobin was very responsive to my questions. I would recommend this house to any of my friends or anyone else who wants a beautiful and quiet getaway.

Peaceful

Rhobin and Billy are wonderful hosts. We were there during a storm and they checked in on us to make sure all was ok. The house is delightful with little treasures set all around. My 6 year old enjoyed spotting new things everywhere. Our setting was very clean and location was near trails (which we enjoyed in the rain:) and close to a town. Thanks Rhobin and Billy

Wonderful Week

Our party of seven plus my daughter's dog spent a wonderful week at Rhobyn and Billy's home. I can't say enough about the property. It is very bright, beautiful, very clean and in a beautiful area just minutes from Saugerties. The owners were very attentive, checking in and making sure all was going ok. Responded to questions almost instantaneously. :) Outside we loved the decks to relax on and especially loved the spacious pool. My 2 grandchildren (12 and 13) hated to leave and we would all would love to spend another vacation here! I think even the dog is going to miss the long walks and beautiful quiet property.

Wonderful getaway

Rhobin and Billy are excellent hosts and a pleasure to deal with. The house is immaculate. The master suite in particular is very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen, all amenities, super comfortable and relaxing property. Multiple places to sit/lounge outdoors. We definitely would go back.
