Welcome to Mermaid Pointe Beach Condo located in the highly desired Crystal Beach area of Destin, FL! Mermaid Pointe is a 2nd story, corner unit condo in a low-rise complex (only two stories), giving it a spacious and separate feel. One bedroom with a KING size bed, hallway bunk beds, and a Queen-sized pullout sofa in the living room. There is 1 full bathroom with granite counter tops and a Jacuzzi tub. This condo has been newly renovated with fresh paint, all new furniture and decor as well as an upgraded kitchen. In unit Washer/Dryer is available for guest use. Fabulous porch with views of the gulf. Relax in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy meals on the patio. There are 2 TV's in the condo with streaming options. There is no cable. Mermaid Pointe is located at The Caribbean Dunes complex with a seasonally heated pool, hot tub, outdoor grills, and walking distance to two public beach accesses. 4 beach chairs and pool/sand toys are included with every stay. This is a great location for both couples and families to get away. Conveniently located to everything that Destin has to offer while being in a high end, residential area off Scenic Hwy 98 on the beautiful Emerald Coast. Enjoy the quiet, secluded feel of this condo that is located along the popular walking/bike path of Scenic Hwy 98. Located directly across the street from the beach with a 2 minute walk from the front door to the sand. Walking distance to Camille's Cafe and Restaurant, The Henderson Beach Resort and Spa, Primrose, and the Henderson Beachside Inn, along with many other fabulous restaurants within easy biking or driving distance including Destin Commons shopping center. We had the best time staying here!! The beach was beautiful and the space was absolutely beautiful as well!! Definitely recommend staying here by yourself or even with family!! Our host was amazing and responded very quickly and answer any and all questions we had.

Amazing property & Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay at this Crystal Beach condo in Destin! The property was spotless and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better—right across the street from the beach, which made it super easy to go back and forth. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Super beach access

Public beach access right across the street. Short walk on the beach gets you into Henderson state park which is a mile Long Beach that is seldom crowded unit itself is excellent and has a nice pool

Perfect location!

This was a last minute vacation for us (it has been over 3 years since our last family vacation) so we were looking for a location that was comfortable, clean, and close to everything! This was it! The beach across the street was beautiful! Theres a side that its smaller (right side) and a larger one (left side), however we didn't care being a bit crowded since we spent most of the time in the water. The beach had lifeguards, and to me that made me feel safer, specially traveling with the kids. Also there's a coffee shop with delicious smoothies walking distance also. Publix (grocery store), walgreens, and Destin commons are about 4 mins drive. Very practical The house was very comfortable, however i gave it 4 stars just because of some simple things, honestly didn't bother me too much but someone else might. The door from the master bedroom into the bathroom could be opened regardless, the fridge had a broken cabinet, and had a rustly shelve, also there only two toilet rollsfo 6 people staying there for 6 days. But you guys if you are traveling with family this is a perfect location. They also had beach chairs and kids toys. Like I mentioned those details are minimal because we were very comfortable and felt at ease. This spot is super worth it, and we will love to be back!

Family Vacation

We had such a wonderful time at Mermaid Pointe! The condo is beautiful and decorated so pretty! We stayed with our 3 kids ages 2-9 and it was perfect! The walk to the beach is short and easy! The pool was so nice and never crowded! We enjoyed walking to Camille’s to get coffee and breakfast! Crystal Beach is a beautiful area, very family friendly and quiet! Mary Catherine was so nice and easy to contact! There are so many sand toys and beach chairs to use which was so awesome! There is also a nice view of the ocean from the balcony! We will definitely be back, we love Destin so much!

Super Clean

We absolutely loved staying here. There was plenty of parking and the pool was super close. 3 minute walk to the beach. Everything was super clean the bed and bunks were very comfortable. It was a nice quiet place to stay. Only thing I would suggest is a light on the steps going upstairs. But that may be for maintenance of the building. Not sure. Will absolutely stay here again!

Peaceful getaway!

We loved our stay at Mermaid Pointe! Super close (<5 min walk) to the beach & Camille’s restaurant! Super fast communication with owner when needed! We loved the views from the balcony & ate most meals outside just to enjoy the beach air!

Great beach location

Very nice condo unit with two beach views from the balcony. Heated pool a plus for spring visit. Excellent location with beach access directly across from the unit. A huge plus is that by walking a couple hundred yards down the beach gets you to the state park which is a mile long stretch of uncrowded beach. Be advised that the Destin resorts are very aggressive with roping off their stretch of the beach leaving only a narrow strip along the water for the public to walk by getting to the state park beach you can set up and do whatever you want.

It was lovely

A perfect location to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Has everything you need including towels and beach chairs which is a nice touch. The ladder for the top bunk was a little tricky for my 4 year old but we managed and she loved sleeping there! Mary-Catherine is extremely attentive and easy to get in touch with which was very nice!! Cute little place!

Awesome Location

My favorite place to stay in Destin!

This is the second time I have stayed in these condos & I love the experience each time I visit. The place was beautifully decorated & walking distance to a public beach access. The only complaints I have about the stay was that there was no cable TV, the ceiling fans were extremely dusty to the point where I think they made me sick & we had to clean them & that I received the code to the door after the checkin time. We didn’t spend much time in the condo, except to sleep & when it rained, so the complaints weren’t major, but they were worth noting. Would return!

Adorable little condo

This is a beautiful condo very close to the beach. It’s a great location to bring your family for vacation. Walking distance to the beach and close to lots of other activities. My kids loved the pool. The washer and dryer was a great feature too!
