The Space:

*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing an extensive property modernization project beginning September of 2024. Construction will occur from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including weekends if required. Guest will most likely experience construction noise during these times and other inconveniences. Please be advised that our outdoor amenities will be closed until early Summer of 2025:

-Outdoor Hot Tub

-Splash Pad

The grill and smoking areas will be relocated during the renovation. The indoor pool and gym are available during their regular operating hours.

This timeframe coincides with the first two phases of our property renovation, and all dates are subject to change due to weather, labor, or supply chain issues. We apologize for any disruption and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our resort for your future enjoyment. Renovations will continue throughout 2025 and into Spring of 2026.



Location, Location, Location! This condo is right in the heart of Destin. Private beach access help make this a must-stay property. Overlooking the sugary white beaches and Emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this condominium is sure to please. This newly-updated home is like no other at Sundestin. The view of the gulf is breathtaking from the sliding glass doors and the spacious furnished balcony. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare your favorite meal while admiring the Gulf view. The living area has an HD smart Roku TV and a DVD player for your entertainment. The main suite has a flatscreen HDTV and a private half bath that can open to the full bath. The condo also includes a great bunk area for kids. If you are looking for luxury and stunning views on the beach, you've found it!



Things to Know

SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing construction to the building. Please expect intermittent noise during construction hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. If construction needs to go past these hours or on the weekends information will be posted a week in advance in the lobby of SunDestin. Construction will be completed by June 2025.

Condo could use a deep cleaning. Lots of areas wasn't clean..like the baseboards. But great location and the views were great. Lots of construction going on. When it's finished, the pool area will look great.

Our stay was great! Right in the middle of everything. Beach access was the best! Indoor and outdoor pool was also good. Kids loved that they had options!

Nice location

Nice location, close to shopping and restaurants. Great view of the beach. Could not run a bath due to stopper plug not working. Overall would stay again.

Great location

This place had a great location with easy access to the beach. Sunrise and sunset views from balcony. Only issue we had was main bathroom door was missing a handle and some lights were burnt out in master and guest bathrooms. Overall we loved this place.

Our maintenance department clean and inspect the pool every day, so we will be sure to pass this along to ensure it is in top condition. Beautiful beach

The beach is beautiful. We were for the most part happy with the resort. The outdoor pool was closed which was a bummer. We also did not get to get in our room when we were supposed to, 45 mins late. No linen for the sofa sleeper and not enough towels. I would definitely go back to the resort but not thru vacasa-horrible communication .

For such a short trip of one day it was everything I asked for as far the view of the ocean. The bed was very uncomfortable and needs a new mattress. I slept in the bunk beds. Was unable to use the jacuzzi because of the switch from shower to bath tub didn’t work.

Very little hot water first night but properly fixed the next day so that’s reasonable. Bathroom door handle not attached. Kept falling off. AC seems to struggle to keep up and is loud. May be in need of service. Overall nice stay. Thank you.

A good family vacation

We went in July, and for the most part, we had a nice time. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment, if you’d like to cook while there. Our biggest issue was the WiFi. Since the condo was booked solid, we had a hard time getting and staying on it. It was just an annoyance more than anything, as we weren’t really on our devices much. And since the resort was full, sometimes it was a wait for an elevator, and when you did get one, it was full. The staff was really nice and the beach was beautiful. Very easy access to the pool and beach. All in all, a nice place to stay for a family vacation.

Not as expected.

When we first arrived, the girl couldn’t find our reservation. Very unfriendly. We asked for towels 3 times. Never received towels. There was 5 towels for a family of 5 for 3 days stay. Ended up buying towels for ourselves. The first morning we were there, 2 men and a woman used a code, opened our door at 6:15 am. Very unnerving and scary. Was NOT cleaning nor maintenance. I notified property management 3 times. Nothing was ever done to correct this, only an apology, and an apology for such is not enough after the money we spent to book with this condo. Will never book here or through Vacasa again.

Not bad but not great.

The place wasn't a bad stay there were not enough towels available for swimming, or extra towels and had to pay for laundry onsite. Also, they did not provide linen for the pull out couch which we wanted to use. There were no extra linens. We called fist night there and they did not bring the linens till last night of stay. Then they only brought 2 blankets-no sheets. Just felt unorganized in that way. I have stayed at other vacasa properties that have been amazing.

Misleading property listing—beware

While this condo was in a gorgeous location with a very pleasant staff, I must warn others that this listing was seriously misleading. The title and pictures include an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, and splash pad. The amenities listed also include a grill area. However, upon checking in and getting to our room, we realized that these amenities were taped off and not available due to construction. We spoke to the concierge and these areas have been closed for a year and are expected to be closed for another year or more. This, to me, seems like a conscious decision made by Vacasa who manages this property. Upon checking other Vacasa listings for this property there were also no mentions of these areas being closed off. If you make the decision to book this room and are a coffee drinker please remember to bring filters as there were none provided! All in all, we had a very pleasant stay but were not able to make an informed decision due to lack of information. Check out Camille’s and Dewey’s for some awesome food!

Dirty

This property was dirty. There was dirt all on the walls. The bed had blood smeared on the bed cover and when we called to have it changed so we could go to bed( which was 1 in the morning) they said someone would contact me shortly and no one ever did the entire stay. Also when we pulled the couch bed out, there was trash and mouse poop. The was also a rat trap that was set up in the closet with the water heater. I stayed here for a family vacation with my family with two children and a 7 week old baby. Not happy having to be concerned about what potential germs and dirt my baby could be exposed to

Everything was great besides the room The room was horrible. Was clean but the plank floor was falling apart, hole in the ceiling, wife and kids were locked and trapped in the bathroom all week pocket doors not installed correctly, master bed was terrible, old bent, falling apart super loud. mattress was broke down, kitchen ceiling had a hole in it from an un finished repair, very few kitchen utensils, last day there ac broke down 130 in the AM made a horrible loud noise woke everyone up in the family, living room tv cable didnt work. Did i mention Terrible stay. I paid an extra day and it was not relayed to the resort and we got locked out of the room because the resort was not notified even though i paid for an extra day 4 days in advance.. horrible horrible will never atay at 805 again

Great Condo

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was clean, decorated nicely, and had plenty of kitchen tools for cooking. The only complaint we had was the bed. The king bed is horribly uncomfortable. I never complain about the beds at these places even if I’m not entirely happy with it, but this bed is bad. Very lumpy and stiff, it desperately needs to be replaced. The bunks beds are good though.

The property has a great location! The room was larger than expected from the pictures. We did have some garbage left in the room upon arrival. We notified the staff and they were more than willing to send up someone to address. There was no need due to it being small things in the fridge that needed to be thrown out. The cable in the room did not work due to damage that was sustained at some point to the box that may not have been reported. We did have a stormy few days so it would have been nice to be able to watch the weather or TV on these days. All in all the room was great the staff was good and there is quite a bit to do even in inclement weather.

Fun Vacation Spot

This is a great condo! It’s so close to everything, and it’s very clean and updated. The large tv on the wall in the bedroom is very nice. I just wish it had a Roku. However, there is one in the den, and there’s a DVD player in both rooms to use for the free movie rentals. I love that the chairs and table on the balcony are tall. I like to begin my day with a cup of coffee and my Bible on the balcony. It’s so nice to be able to look up from reading and see the sun rising and the waves crashing without having to look through bars. The beach is perfect, and it has chairs and umbrellas for rent if you need them. I will definitely stay in this unit again!
