Sterling Shores is located in the heart of Destin. Conveniently located next to the Back Porch Restaurant (one of the most popular places to dine), within 5 miles of the following: Destin Commons, Big Kahuna Water Park, The Track-with go carts (three tracks), bumper boats and cars, bungee jumping, putt putt golf, A J's, WalMart, Target, grocery stores, many restaurants, and not far from the famous Outlet Mall.

Enjoy the 4300-square-foot, zero-entry, lagoon-style pool and mushroom fountain, your family will love it! Sterling Shores also has a beach side grill (fabulous burgers), smoothies, ice cream and much more. For the adults, you can enjoy the heated beachside pool and walk directly next door to the famous Back Porch Restaurant. There is also a 42 seat theater on the 2nd floor and a newly remodeled work out room for Sterling Shores guests.

Great place to stay!

We loved our stay! This condo was close to everything we needed. The condo was nice and clean. We had two adults with three teens and had plenty of room. They were very responsive if I had any questions and highly recommend

Awesome place

I was very pleased. Gates were cumbersome but other that than and crowded elevators that sometimes didn't work sometimes it was awesome. Very nice place.

Unobstructed view of pool and ocean

Great view of the pool and ocean. Condo was fully stocked and had everything we needed for our week stay. Great location. Beach and pool always had plenty of room. Owner was quick to reply when contacted. I'd recommend this unit to others.

Great location

The location of the apartment was phenomenal! It was awesome to have two pools and a private beach. The apartment was ok. It’s a little outdated and the bedrooms are small but it was clean. We did not have the correct gate code initially which made getting into the building difficult. The host did respond quickly though. Overall, the location more than makes up for the older apartment decor.

Great views

Property was nice and location was great. Only con of the stay was the request to wash all the things that were used and take out all the trash. I figured thats why we are charged a initial cleaning fee. Also some complimentary hygiene would of been a plus. Overall though it was a nice place that we would visit again. Will recommend!!!

Great location

Location was great but room wasn’t the best. Bathrooms were dirty when we checked in. Tables and counter top were dusty. Seemed as if another family had just left and cleaned the place themselves. Didn’t seem to be professionally cleaned.

Not much within walking distance

We came for long weekend. Did not rent car so not having many restaurants close was a disappointment. The dryer didn’t work in unit. TV in smaller bedroom wouldn’t shut off. The unit was very clean and organized.

Cute place with a great view.

The stay was great except for some mold that was in two of the bedrooms. The owner was made aware and offered to have it fixed immediately. We were only staying for two days and the one full day we were in the condo was raining so we opted to let them fix the problem after we left. As long as the owner fixes that problem I would recommend this condo.

Perfect Location

This is a lovely property in a perfect location...short walk to the beach, the Back Porch, and The Candymaker. The Trac and Big Kahuna are located across the street. We did have a little trouble communicating with the owner upon our arrival, but once we were in contact, everything fell into place and we received all our needed property codes. The condo was very clean and well maintained. However, there is only one closet in the master and none in the second bedroom, so you might need to use the utility closet for extra hanging storage. Also, to be noted is the check out time when booking was 11:00, but there are signs in the condo asking you to be out of the condo no later than 10:00 am. The balcony was wonderful! Beautiful view of the beach and pools and shaded at all times. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return to Destin soon.

Not clean. Poor discription on how to enter the condo. All but 1 elevator worked

Just awful management. They expect you to do all the cleaning on top of the cleaning fee. The beds were dirty. My familt and i had to go out to buy bedding. We did not touch the wristbands and they are claiming they are missing 4 to charge us $100. Absolutely disappointed in this stay. The elevators are all but 1 brokend making it impossible to bring things up in down with 100 families trying to use it too. We had to cary everything up and down the stairs

When we arrived our gate code that was provided to us worked fine but the following days it did not work at all. Luckily we were with others who had a different gate code so we ended up using that number the remainder of the stay. Also our unit only provided 6 bath towels which we felt wasn’t enough unless we wanted to wash them consistently. The dishwasher unit isn’t attached to the counter either so we were unsure about running it. When I reached out to the owner she said “it’s been like that” I feel it should be fixed. Overall it was a nice visit but a few things could be improved.

Birthday getaway

I booked this for my 50th birthday and I was very happy with the condo. It was clean and exactly as described. We were pleased to find the hall closet was packed with beach things (chairs, umbrella, pool noodles, etc). The hot and cold water in the master shower are backwards, but no big deal once we figured that out. The view from the balcony is stunning. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative, and not the owner's fault at all, was that rude people waiting on the elevator let their children bang on the windows (those are the bedroom windows that face the elevator).

Family vacation

We are a family of 6. Our youngest is 4 months. The listing was as advertised. Our three daughters are young enough that they slept in the double bed together. We planned to put an air mattress on the floor of the bedroom, but there was no floor space. Rooms are tight, but with the location we weren’t in the condo that much so it really didn’t matter. We definitely got our money’s worth.

Nice place

Beautiful condo- ocean view. Things I would recommend is letting the visitors know not to check in via the building since they aren’t managed by them. I went in there and they were very rude to me. I would also recommend having pool hours and a map of where things are (pool, trash area, etc). I called to try to get info they wouldn’t help me because they said they don’t manage the unit I rented. Those are suggestions so people know ahead of time. The stay was wonderful and condo beautiful.

Awesome location

This was a perfect condo for me because I have a hard time walking far distance and as soon as you get off elevator, your room is right there. There is a wonderful view of pool and ocean. The walk to the pool was 2 minutes and the walk to the beach was maybe 5 minutes. The condo was lovely and had everything we needed. We had a great time. Thanks so much S&S Wilson

The Destin area makes for a very Special Florida vacation. There is so much to do here that my entire family has a great time. We have 2 pools, snack bar on beach, playground on beach and in the best location in Destin. Across from the Waterpark! Beautiful updated decor. Very clean!
