Mountain charm with a modern flair, the best of both worlds meet in this Tahoe Chalet. 3 Bedrooms, 2 bath, loft and an updated kitchen combine to offer a wonderful vacation home set up. Enter into a living room accented by vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace and warm colors. The Kitchen has a gas stove, granite counters and large doors to expansive back deck. Downstairs features 2 bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has twin bunk beds and a slider to back deck, the second bedroom has a queen bed. Upstairs there is a loft that can sleep 1 comfortably, and a third bedroom featuring a king size bed and bath with shower.

Conveniently located in the Meyers neighborhood and set on a large lot with a mix of open grass area and trees. Walk or Bike to Tahoe Paradise Park, trails along the Upper Truckee River. Near Lake Tahoe Golf course, golf in summer, snow mobiles in the winter. 20 Minutes to Sierra at Tahoe, 15 Minutes to Heavenly Ski Resort, 30 to 40 to Kirkwood and 10 minute drive to Lake Tahoe's best beaches!

Perfect Tahoe Chalet

This is our second time staying at the chalet, and itā€™s awesome. So comfortable, well stocked kitchen, great backyard, and a short walk to the Truckee river. Also, itā€™s a short drive to South Lake Tahoe. Debi is super responsive as well- overall we love this place and will definitely visit again.

Great Experience!

We had a wonderful time. The house was charming, clean and well equipped. The location was great. We could walk less than a mile to a couple of cute restaurants, and a beautiful park. A few miles away was a large Raley's grocery store, and many more restaurant choices. The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful. Bird watching and star gazing off the back deck were a highlight of the trip!

Perfect winter cabin

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Perfect size for our family of 5 to enjoy the massive amounts of snow at the property. I loved the location because itā€™s right at the bottom of the summit in Myers right off hwy 50. Easy to get to and easy to leave. While it was raining in South Lake, it was snowing here. It is so quiet and peaceful here. Has all items inside you will need for your stay. We saw 2 coyotes at night so if you bring dogs, just keep them close and leashed. Debi was very accommodating!

Great Stay!

We loved our stay at Debiā€™s home. It was so cute and had everything we needed. We were in Tahoe for my daughterā€™s wedding. The location was perfect for us. I miss the king size bed and that cozy sofa. My favorite thing about this house was my quiet mornings in the corner of the sofa with amazing pillows and blankets next to the fireplace and coffee in my hands. Debi was very attentive and prompt with all communication. There was a place for everyone with 3 rooms and a loft area and a great gathering space with the living room and kitchen area. I considered dozens of places when making my reservation. So glad I chose this one!

Magical winter getaway during COVID

This house is COZY and happy! We had 2 teenagers and 2 adults working all morning via zoom and then hitting the slopes in the afternoons to ski & board. We were greeted when we arrived by the amazing automatic fireplace already on and the living room incredibly cozy. The wifi was strong enough for all of us to do classes and work at once. And Debi was truly awesome as a host - we were nervous bc of a massive snowstorm coming in, and she was super responsive to make sure we knew what to do. We DID use our 4WD after the snowstorm hit bc the small road in the neighborhood wasn't plowed (though the guys Debi has hired to clear the driveway and walkway to the house were reliable!) - but it is flat, and we would have needed the 4WD for the mountains anyway. Have recommended this place to many others already.

Debi is very accommodating and friendly Host

Debi was extremely nice when we had to cancel our trip because of smoke up in Tahoe. She really is looking out to make sure everyone has a good experience at her rental.

Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay

Debi's home had all the conveniences of home (my small wish is for cookware that isn't all nonstick).- There were comfy accommodations and traveler-prized amenities aplenty (see long list of accurate items). Debi herself is a responsive host who prioritizes traveler comfort and quiet enjoyment of her property. Nearby park was a 10-15 min walk to a lovely lake, and home's location was central to many local points of interest. Would recommend property and host.

Perfect getaway

Great location and beautifully kept property. Everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only down side was no air conditioner and it gets pretty hot during the day. Other than that all rules were clear and the house was in perfect condition. Perfect for a family get away!

Loved this place! Great house, quiet neighborhood, everything you need nearby. Bedrooms are spacious, lots of storage. Couldnā€™t get the TV working upstairs but no big deal. Owner is very nice.

Fantastic home away from home

We booked the house at the very last minute and had a fantastic experience working with the owner in getting the details ironed out. She was exceptionally communicative and well organized. The house is gorgeous, well appointed, and tidy. The location is absolutely fantastic, no matter the time of year. We were in town without any snow, but the easy access to hiking and running trails (many of which are walkable from the house) really shined. When the snow falls you're still an easy and short drive to some of Tahoe's best at Heavenly, Sierra, and Kirkwood. We really couldn't have asked for more out of our Tahoe getaway and will certainly book here in the future.

Cute and Cozy

My wife and I stayed at the Chalet for 4 nights. The chalet was very comfortable. We cooked breakfast/lunch/dinners, and had everything we needed. It is very close to all the conveniences, so if you forget anything, stores and restaurants are close by. We really enjoyed being walking distance from Washoe Meadows. We would walk along the river with our little rat terrier every morning, it was beautiful. The owner was very flexible with check in/out and answered any questions we had, a great experience.
