Delighful five double bedroom home, large swimming pool minutes from lively town

Villa Lou Calou provides a relaxed, comfortable home for holiday makers. The villa is recently redecorated and has five spacious bedrooms and five modern, bathrooms/shower rooms. It sleeps up to ten people. The open plan kitchen and living area look onto a large swimming pool (12 x 6 metres). A petanque court was built in 2020 and there is a charcoal BBQ.
The managers of the property live in an adjacent self-contained cottage. They can help with any queries you may have. Guests have exclusive use of the pool.
Lou Calou has beautiful views across the valley and on to the Pyrenees. It is a peaceful, calm location yet only five minutes (1 mile or 1.5 kilometres) from the town of Limoux, renowned for its sparkling Blanquette. The town offers amenities to suit most tastes and budgets. Close to the villa is a supermarket which has excellent meat and fresh produce.
The villa is set within almost two acres of grounds. A spacious veranda provides welcome shade from the summer sun.
The garden is not fenced so young children will need supervision. At the top of the drive on the north side of the house is parking space for three-four cars.
Notes on the accommodation:
The property is suitable for children but care should be taken when the pool is uncovered. Visitors frequently walk to town or to the nearby supermarket but there are no footpaths and the road can be quite busy at times so walking in single file is strongly advised.
