Sandpiper 4C is a 2 bedroom 2 bath, beach view unit with all new updated stainless steel appliances. Triple Sheeting has been installed in both bedrooms for enhanced cleanliness, boasting a King bed in the Master Bedroom and 2 Queen beds in the Guest bedroom. The Kitchen is nicely appointed with both Keurig and Standard drip coffee options as well as an assortment of utensils, kitchen gadgets and other small appliances. Sandpiper 4C truly feels like home.



Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (The pool is generally heated from March 1- November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Great place!! This property was clean and very well kept. I’d bring beach towels, toilet paper and trash bags as they do not have extra in the condo. There is no beach chairs or beach stuff. I’d go to Walmart and purchase for the week as it is cheaper than renting chairs and umbrella for the week.

The stay was an overall great experience. Located in a perfect spot with an amazing view of the beach off of the back porch. Management was also super helpful and friendly throughout the process.

Nice and Clean

Unit was nice and clean. Location was good. Pool was good. Only negative was the shared balcony/walkway, so no privacy, but we knew that going into it.

Overall my family had an awesome time. I just recommend a sleep mask since there are no curtains in the bedroom windows so as soon as the sun comes out it’s bright in the rooms

Perfect Condo for a Golf Trip

The rooms are open to the outside and in close proximity. The pool is large enough to accommodate everyone and the beach is a few easy steps away.

Clean, updated, and comfortableDid not use balcony due to many smokers around. Smoke adjacent and below constantly wafted by. Pool area was very unpleasant due to smokers in and around pool. Smoke and ashes made it look and feel unpleasant.

The open atmosphere of Sandpiper's balcony can make certain guest behaviors difficult. We regret that your enjoyment outside of the condo was not as positive as inside this beautiful unit. We hope that you will reach out when you are ready to return to the Gulf Coast.

Tenth Year at Sandpiper

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 10th consecutive year staying at the Sandpiper Condominium resort. It was our first year in Unit 4C, and we were very pleased. The unit was recently remodeled with a walk-in shower in the main bedroom. This is so much appreciated by seniors with mobility issues who find it difficult to step into a bathtub to take a shower. The unit was clean at check-in (though there was a line of sand along the baseboards from the front door to the kitchen). The unit was well-stocked with amenities, including just about any kitchen utensils and pans you would want. This resort has an outdoor pool only. In past years, it has not been heated until March 1st. This year, for some reason, the heat was turned on sometime in February. However, the management company did not notify all residents that the pool was now usable. We found out by accident when we saw other people using the pool and declaring that the water was heated.The resort has the same four charcoal grills in the courtyard that have been there since we first stayed at Sandpiper ten years ago. The grill grates are always rusty. We would not allow our food to touch the grates in this condition, so we never used them to cook anything. This is disappointing, as we enjoy grilling out. The property management company decided to use some new formula for calculating next year's rental rates. It took them several weeks longer than in the past to communicate that information to us. We were starting to explore options at other properties in the meantime. Overall, we enjoy the Sandpiper property and have booked our return in 2025.

We truly appreciate your repeat patronage. As a 10-year Sandpiper guest, you know how great the property is, and you have had a chance to find the best units from which to spend your winter. 4C is definitely one of the best. The grills are cleaned and replaced regularly - salt air is no friend to metal - and we regret they were in need during your stay. As you have stayed with us so often, you know a call to the office would have taken care of the situation immediately. Your condo was on hold for you until February 14, and we were happy to re book you the week earlier. We look forward to seeing you in 2025!

With 4 kids we had a wounderful time family friendly and we could not ask for anything better. We even call for help and they fixed what we needed right away. We went on a Dolphin Cruise with Cold Mil Fleet and eat at Savanna next to the Gulf Shores Zoo. Both were amazing. Thank for such a wonderful vacation for our family. Can't wait to come back and relax for more salt water therapy.

Another Good Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our tenth year vacationing at the Sandpiper for January and February. This is our first year in Unit 4C. This condo is newly renovated and nicely equipped. There is now a walk-in shower in the main bedroom, much appreciated by seniors and others with mobility issues. Bedrooms have comfortable beds with white wood head & footboards, which match the nice chests of drawers and nightstands. Living room furniture stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, glasses, utensils and other essentials. The unit was generally clean upon checkin. The Sandpiper resort, though decades old, is in good condition. The only issue this year was the elevator in the first couple of weeks in January. The weather was very cold, and the elevator shuddered and vibrated while moving. One day it seemed to freeze up and didn't function at all. The only other complaint we have is that the outdoor pool isn't heated during the "winter months" and the water is just too cold to swim in. This has been the case ever since we started vacationing here 10 years ago.

Reviewer Comments: Highly recommend Sandpiper Condominiums (right at the light in Gulf Shores) to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy small crowds and no waiting at the elevator. It has 3 floors with 16 units each. Not all of them are for rent, but there is usually a good selection available year around. Each unit is clean and well maintained. Nice size pool in the center of the complex. Great outdoor grilling area. The walk to the beach from your unit is very short compared to some of the others. Bender Realty staff will help you plan a great vacation at this venue. They are always courteous and professional.
