With a large sectional couch and and a flat-screen TV/DVD, the living room invites you to relax and enjoy your stay. The dining room and fully equipped galley kitchen open to a rear deck with a barbecue, so you can enjoy ocean breezes and the sunny, quiet neighborhood. Two bedrooms have queen beds; a third has two twins. A fenced deck in front gives you another outdoor area for gathering with family and friends. You’ll love a stay in Manzanita, which combines a creative and stylish central village with a profoundly beautiful natural setting of curved beach against the promontory of Neahkahnie Mountain. It’s all right out the door when you stay in this cozy and comfortable home!

Was very easy to check in. We were only 2 blocks from the beach. The house was very clean and cared for. From the front porch you could see the ocean. Nice and quiet neighborhood with plenty of areas to walk and ride bikes.

Location was great. Check-in process smooth. The house is cozy, although a bit dated (at our age we say ‘nostalgic’ :). Everything was clean and as advertised based on the photos. We feel lucky that we found a place to stay for a week in Manzanita in July for a family getaway at relatively short notice at a reasonable price. Our party was only 4 people (2 couples) at a time maximum, which worked out fine. We think the twin beds in the back bedroom might be a bit challenging except for very young kids. We had great weather at our favorite Oregon coast city. Shout out to the folks at the museum in downtown on Laneda. It’s only open on Saturdays but the volunteers there really know and are passionate about the local history. Also had a great brunch at Poached503 (formerly Yolk) - as always.

Cute and clean house not far from the beach and town. Super comfortable living room and a great table for jigsaw puzzles with the family.A couple of blocks from the beach and access was a little tricky, but totally manageable and you can definitely go to sleep to the sounds of the ocean with the windows open.Thank you for helping to make our family trip so special!

Great place for a girls trip to the beach!

Stayed with my sister in laws, mom and two kids age 4. The property was close to the beach and an easy enough walk into town. Great stay for the price! Clean and simple with a full size kitchen and fridge.

Easy little getaway home!

Great location, quiet and very close to the beach. Very clean, well maintained home. And great new reclining couch and reclining chair! Very thoughtful to add a turkey baster and pan for holiday cooking. Thanks for a very nice place to stay!

Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was exactly what we needed and close to Manzanita's main street and not dar from the beach.

Very lived in and comfortable

Though the grass on the lawn and the thyme were both dead, there was a bit of animal smell out front (on the lawn), but overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is set up for comfort and your not afraid to sit on the couch or spread out a bit.

Fall beach break

The house was comfortable and clean. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. A short walk to the beach and in to town. We were a block away from the golf course and wished we had brought our clubs! Very quiet neighborhood. Felt like we were all alone. Would definitely stay again.

Weekday trip

It was in a very quiet safe nice neighborhood at least mid week when we were there so that was very peaceful. The couch was great.it was spacious and nice enough for the price. The beach access was down a big dune which was tough for my elderly mother but fine otherwise. A hot tub or jetted tub would have been a great addition but we were happy to have a budget option

Such a wonderful place and beach access is super close. Classic home feel to it. Only suggestion is updating the 20 year old beds. Super uncomfortable and bouncy. For the rest, A+.

Relaxing

Everything was very good. A cute downtown within walking distance. Everyone there was nice. Sadly, we could not do the closing. There were clothes already in the washer and the dishwasher was not being very co-operative.

Nice accommodation but

Overall the property is fine and as promised . Two of the beds need to be replaced. They squeak and the bounce enough to keep the other person in the room awake

Beach retreat

The only complaint we have is that the couch is old beyond repair. Very uncomfortable and desperately needs to be replaced. It looked so comfy in the pictures of the house. A little dated but no complaints really except the couch.

Just a short walk to the beach!!

We had a nice get-away with fantastic weather! A Well appointed kitchen and outdoor grill made for easy home cooked meals. So nice to have 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, too. We really had a great time; the only caveats are the condition of the couch; we sunk in so far it was hard to get out, and it was especially uncomfortable in between the sections as there was the wood structure underneath sticking up pretty far. Also, the mattresses in the front two bedrooms were also uncomfortable. But overall, a nice place to spend time!!

Nice location but the sofa in the living room is very hard to get out of. We had 2 plus 80 and 4 +70 and we all struggled. One chair on front porch has broken leg. One bed had no fitted sheet and the sheet kept falling off in night. Directions for the streaming TV would be helpful for us old folks. Nice old fashioned beach house but could use some updates

Nice location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was largely as we expect, fairly simple layout and good space for us and the dogs. This is not an updated space but we knew that going in. Kitchen was surprisingly well stocked. Couches very spacious and comfortable. Only feedback we have would be to replace linens, the sheets were pretty piled, and a new mattress would make this rental much better. We slept relatively well, however. Might also be good to move the key box to the side of the house, we dropped it through the slits in the deck and had to fish it out! House is an easy walk to town and great location from the beach.

The place is underwhelming

It was not as clean as I had hoped but it wasn't dirty either. The house had a terrible smell to it, which only started going away after we opened up all the windows. It was really old and seemed like everything was falling apart. Also, we arrived 3 minutes early and we couldn't get in. I know there is a check-in time but this is the first place that didn't allow any buffer for if people arrive THREE minutes early. I found that to be ridiculous. Otherwise, location was really good - no complaints there.

Okay place

This was okay but maybe just a step above camping. The furniture in the living room and dining room was comfortable. The fireplace was nice but we didn't use it. There were a lot of cups but only 3 tall glasses and a couple of juice glasses. We bought plastic ware to use. No crab tools. The "fitted" sheets did not fit the bed and wrinkled when in bed. Also, they looked old because the print was faded. If it had been my place, I would have used only white sheets throughout. This was a pet friendly place but no fenced yard and carpets throughout. We took our Ex-pens and were able to "fence" off part of the yard to let the dogs out. There was no place to put dog food and water bowls unless you put them outside, in the bathroom or small kitchen which were not carpeted. Few towels, not enough for 6 people. No internet available.

October stay

Pros: Great location for us, near Nehalem Bay boat launch. Nice home that fit our needs. Ocean about a block or so. Enjoyed the new couch and chair. Beds had great mattresses. Very clean. QUITE neighborhood. Cons: We were notified the wash machine was not working as we were driving to Manzanita. I told manager this was a MUST for us as we intended to clam and crab everyday (6 days) with wet clothing multiple times a day. Management promptly told me that if I had read their policy if something like that happened they weren't responsible for making sure it was fixed during our stay...which was 6 days! I was hoping at that point, since we hadn't even check in that they would offer to put us in a different home. They didn't. Machine wasn't fixed or replaced during our 6 days. AND...there were only 2 dish towels provided, NO kitchen dishrags, NO bathroom small face cloth...so we had to use a bathroom TOWEL to do dishes and wipe counters etc. 1 sponge was provided that after one day cleaning up after clams and crabs was not sanitary enough to do further cleaning safely. This is our only complaint and it was due to poor management and not due to the house or property owner. Suggestions: Though the mattresses were very good, the twin beds have a horrible squeak to even the smallest of movements. The box spring or bed frame or something needs to be replaced. Overall: Loved everything except lack of kitchen towels, kitchen rags and bathroom face cloths, no wash machine.

We would like to note that had we been notified of some of your listed concerns, we would have gladly provided additional towels and cleaning supplies. We have requested our housekeeping team to check the inventory, the squeaky bed frames have been fixed, and the owner is purchasing a new washing machine. We loved hosting you, and hope you will book with us again.
