The kitchen was very well stocked. Beautiful ocean view. Very comfortable beds. Great home for family get together. Only suggestion would be for the host to offer more detergent pods. Only 2 available per machine but we had 12 guests and wasn't able to start a load of towels before leaving.

Birthday Weekend

Our stay was great overall - the property was clean upon arrival, and you can’t beat the views. The only downside was there wasn’t all that much cleaning supplies and no extra trash bags.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting! We watched orcas and seals from the living room window!

My siblings and I, along with our families, gathered here to celebrate our dad’s 75th birthday. It was a wonderful home for a multi-aged group.

Perfect stormy beach weekend

We went with some friends to have a weekend away for my birthday, and the house was perfect. The weather was terrible, but we got to sit and watch the crashing waves through the amazing picture windows right over the beach!

We had a lovely time at this property as did our Frenchie George! Such a charming community and the crepe restaurant C'est la Vie was an added bonus for breakfast! Would definitely come back

So amazing!

We loved loved loved this property!! Loved how we could watch our older kids from the house play on the beach. The house fit us perfectly. We had a hard time leaving. One of the funnest trips we have taken.

The house has good beach access and views and is perfectly located for excursions into Lincoln City, Depot Bay and Newport for shopping, activities and restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped. There were 14 of us, including small children, and we had plenty of space and privacy for 4 families. On the con side, the house is showing its age and could use a thorough deep clean beyond what is done between guest stays, as well as some updating. For example, bedding and pillows need replacing (although the mattresses themselves were comfortable.) The spectacular ocean views were hard to fully enjoy as the large windows facing the ocean needed cleaning. The hot tub worked, but had not been cleaned before our stay. I contacted Meredith Lodging at the end of our stay with a more detailed listing of issues and they indicated their appreciation of the feedback so they know about maintenance and cleaning issues that need attention. Hopefully some of the things will be addressed. This is a great house, just in need for some good TLC.

Not worth the price

Dirty, broken down furniture, one room and towels smelt like urine. House to be refurbished and all new furniture. Only positive was great location.

The Great Escape

Very nice home , Great views, Nice hot tub, lots of amenities. I couldn't find the electric hand mixer only the beaters . So we ended up using the blender to make a Birthday cake . The Oven is high tech and we couldn't quite get it to heat right so we used the BBQ it's awesome! And the stove top. This was a fun stay we enjoyed the Pool table ,The fire place at night and so many cozy soft blankets . The beds were exceptionally cozy as well. I would stay here again.

Location and view both get high marks. The house is in need of attention. Deferred maintenance.

You could smell a strong pet odor upon entering the house. The main level bedroom had a strong pet urine odor. The garage door opener did not work. The front door lock did not work upon checkout. The photos were great, the house was not. The location was perfect, as was the view. We would NOT rent the house again.

70th birthday trip

The house is beautiful but might need some updates. Great view, nice bedrooms. Enough plates, glasses, etc. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor and apparently the property management company knew about this. No hot tub key-had to call to get one delivered. Only 1 small, sample size dishwashing liquid for a house that holds 14. Some bathroom sinks draining very slowly. Wrong coffee filters provided, no hand soap in 2 of the bathrooms. Towels in the dryer.

Great Family Destination - Outstanding Beach View

Reviewer Comments: SeaGlass Cottage is beautifully situated on a high bluff with nearby beach access. 180 degree view with windows all along the west side of the living room. We were a group of nine adults and three children ranging from 3-6 years of age. The house works beautifully for all ages. Most everyone in our group, at one time or another, spoke of "next time we come here"... that's a great sign. Even though we hit a stormy long weekend, there was plenty to do for the kids. The upstairs "secret" playrooms were awesome... adults entered by permission only. The house is stocked with games and puzzles and in fair weather, even beach toys. We certainly will stay at SeaGlass Cottage again someday.

Mostly fabulous time

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Other than the fact the refrigerator wasn't working and with 6 families staying there we had a lot of food. We had to use coolers and keep buying ice. After calling the office they did bring out a small one and put it in the garage but that was very inconvenient running up and down the stairs to get items and put them away, plus we couldn't park 2 cars in the garage. After returning home the management company was very good about refunding a small amount of money for the issue. Regardless of this our family had a wonder time together. I will plan another trip for to a similar setting again for our family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay at the SeaGlass. Everything you could possibly want was provided and the owners have a real eye for detail. It fit our family of 13 beautifully. Although there were some minor repairs to be made our stay was truly outstanding!!! The very first hour we arrived there was a pod of local whales right in front of our window; it was amazing!No need to pay to go out in a boat to see the whales.Loved the pool table hidden under the dining room table. We played every night. I would recommend they fix the second oven in the kitchen because with 9-19 people staying here you would need it. We did and there were 13 of us. Would highly recommend this home to anyone. Loved every minute of our stay in this magnificent home. Thank you!

Amazing Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sea Glass Cottage is amazing with its stunning views of Bella Beach. I spent a week there with my family to celebrate my 70th birthday. The description of the home was everything t could of hoped for and more. The views were stunning and the home was decorated beautifully. Linens and towels were of top quality and everything was very clean and neat. The rooms were large and the floor plan was ideal for a family. There was space to have family time and also to have your own private space in one of the 6 bedrooms. I chose this home so each one of my 4 children could have there own bedroom with a king size bed. I also enjoyed being able to bring my little dog. It is located in one of the cutest neighbor hoods i have ever seen and it was such a pleasure to walk after dinner. We really enjoyed the location being in between Lincoln City and Depoe Bay. It made it very convenient to visit other beaches and the many shops. We had dinner at Fathoms Restaurant for my birthday and it was excellent. The property management was constantly in touch with me via email or through the app that I downloaded. It was a wonderful experience and vacation and will keep it it mind to return some day. I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the stair access to the beach had been washed out so and I could not get down to the beach as easily as I had planned.

Weekend getaway

We had a blast at the house! It was perfect for our friends and all the kids. We had 1.5-10 and everyone could be entertained even if it was a rainy weekend. Everything was also well communicated. Thanks for the memories!

Beach Family Fun House

What a wonderful property!!! I spent weeks researching properties for our family beach vacation and THIS home was selected based on reviews!!! So happy with my decision. Easy check in. Attentive property manager. And great parking. There was something for everyone. Well stocked kitchen except no hand soap in kitchen or bathrooms?! We we’re happy to purchase and leave for the next guy. Beds were comfortable and furniture was great!! BBQ was awesome too!! Kids loved the hot tub!! And adults loved the pool table at night ❤️ Sadly first two days were gloomy but final day sunset didn’t disappoint. 🌞 the location was the very best part. I will miss the sound of waves at night……until next time……one large happy family from Nevada 🌅🏖🐳🦀
