Overall it was great!A few suggestions would be to make sure the sheets fit the beds. correctly as a twin was put on one of the beds upstairs. Possibly work on the doors as some were off the sliders and one bedroom door would not completely close.Was given only dishwasher tablet so could not do the second load of dishes as we left.Finally, possibly replace towels and washcloths that are stained. Location was super! Thank you for allowing us to stay there!!

Upon coming to the home, multiple things were noted: Blinds bent broken, door to pantry off the top slider, closet door in 1 upper room same issue. Dustpan broken, no cleaning materials for the washer and dishwasher. There was also no BBQ brush to clean the grill. Finally, one of the rugs has something spilt on it that is crusted and appears to be something that may be too stuck on to get off. This should be replaced. The second day we were there we requested the needed items, and they finally brought the cleaning items day 3 and brush for the grill by day 5. The second day we were locked out of the house for over 30 minutes due to the keypad not functioning. The beds are hard and not the most comfortable. However, overall, the house has lots of space

I’m sorry your stay was disrupted by the maintenance issues, delayed supplies, and the keypad malfunction — that all is unacceptable and will be corrected by our team. We are scheduling repairs for the window and closet hardware, restocking the washer/dishwasher cleaning supplies, replacing the broken dustpan, and have since had the entry keypad serviced. The stained rug is being evaluated for professional cleaning or replacement, and we are reviewing mattress options to improve comfort. Thank you for bringing these items to our attention; your comments are helping us make immediate improvements.

Great Newer Property

Plenty of space for two small families to enjoy a stay on the coast. Hot tub was clean and ready to go. Kitchen was well furnished.

Fantastic house

Beautiful home, very well decorated and with all the necessities. We enjoyed the hot tub and the electric fireplace. Just a couple of minutes outside Depoe Bay.

Great location - quiet, but close to town

This was for a family of menfolk out to enjoy the weekend and the house was perfect. Great amenities, close to town, but still quiet and secluded. Communication was prompt and friendly Would recommend.

Great stay.

Had a great stay. Clean, kitchen well stocked and great location. We had plenty of room for our group. Beds were a little hard for us. Great communication from host. Nice views of the ocean.

Annual Wine Fest Friend Weekend

We loved our stay here, beautiful and clean, and the hot tub was a plus! Well stocked, except bring hand soap. I think having no ice and one of the upstairs beds being super hard were the only downfalls, still earned 5 stars though!

Crab weekend!

Wonderful house with open plan and close to downtown and Newport. My friends and had a wonderful get away. Everything was perfect except pool table was junior size and we were hoping for some serious games -:)

No worries

Check in went very smoothly. We arrived late at night and were so thankful everything worked to get into the house like it was supposed to. Everything was clean and kitchen had plenty of items to use for cooking.

Highly Recommend!

We came to go fishing on a Charter for two days. There were 8 of us. This was a great place for all of us to come back to rest and sleep. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone! The hot tub was a nice bonus!

Wonderful Stay

What a wonderful stay at Jim’s Folly. The house was so clean and check in and check out were so easy. My kiddo enjoyed all the games….especially ping pong. It was so nice to come home from the cool ocean breeze and sit with the fire on. This house is situated close to everything and we enjoyed walking to town—stopping at the benches and views along the way.

Perfect home for larger groups

My husband took several of his employees on a chartered fishing trip and stayed in this home. He came back saying it was a perfect house for what they needed. He will definitely go back and now wants to take our family there!

Family Weekend

Great newer home with a peek of the ocean. Everything was clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities. We made chowders and salad one night and the crockpot there was HUGE. Easy to walk into town if you’re up for it (uphill a bit to get back to the house). Grandkids loved the downstairs game room and ping pong table. The beds were a little firm but some prefer it that way.

Wonderful stay during a not-so-wonderful weather storm

Well...this was what I assume will be known as the coastal freeze, but this winter 2024 storm reared its head all the way to the Oregon. We had a wonderful trip and the weather is, we all know, beyond anyone's control. That said, the property makes me want to not leave, I want to return and have a longer stay. This is a beautiful new development once you enter Depoe Bay (northern entrance).

family trip

House had ample space for everyone and a great kitchen with everything we needed to cook for our large family group and a large hot tub in a private fenced area. So grateful for the property being pet friendly and kid friendly, also having so many bathrooms was nice as well. Only downsides of the stay was one of the mattresses in an upstairs bedroom was extremely old and uncomfortably lumpy, looked to be from the 80s or 90s (old floral print, label peeling away from mattress, etc) when we pulled back the sheets to put in the wash after our stay. Also there was a lot of construction in the area on surrounding houses and our next door neighbors stayed up til 4am smoking and drinking outside their house even though it was a midweek stay. We expected a little bit quieter of a stay based on the photos and location. The house itself was great for our needs, and we would consider staying again if construction was finished in the area. Thank you!
