Luxury condo with amazing bay front view

Attention Nature Lovers! This beautiful 3 BR 2 BA South Bay condo on 5th Street bayside, has all of the comforts of home, from newer appliances to spacious bedrooms and living area. Bed sizes include 1 queen in BR1, 1 queen in the second bedroom, 2 single beds in BR3, plus a full size pull out bed in the living room sleep sofa, accommodating up to 8 guests. The unit has a washer/dryer for your convenience, and a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, and pots & pans. The welcoming dining area can accommodate your family and friends for meals or gaming fun. Enjoy the amazing Bay front balcony with relaxing water views and possibly catch sight of the local seal family who love to hang out on the small protected island just across the water! The owner has supplied a telescope to better watch these adorable seals, and their new baby. You will want to enjoy your vacation here every year! Guest supplies bed linens, towels, paper goods and soaps. Property rents Mini Weeks with check in and out on Thursday & Sunday in season and any 3 nights off season. An optional linen package is available for this property. Linens would be delivered to the condo for your arrival. A set would include a sheet set for each bed and a towel set for the occupancy of the condo. You will be able to add this option to your reservation for a fee if you wish.
Living room TV has cable, bedroom TV's use WIFI and smart tv apps.
Please note the fireplace is decorative only. All guests are responsible for following Maryland fishing regulations if fishing in area.
There is parking for 2 cars at the property. One space is on the South Side numbered 102, the other is any space marked with "Reserved-South Bay". This is a Non Smoking/Vaping unit. No pets, please.
No group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Location is great. Right on the bay with a balcony overlooking the water. We hung outside and watched dolphin, boats, and beautiful sunsets. Great spot!

Beautiful Place in a Quiet Neighborhood

A beautiful place with very friendly residents and close to the fun of Ocean City. Some basic household things that have been available at other vrbos I have stayed at were missing or limited (toilet paper, garbage bags, etc.)

Great location.

The room furnishings need to be updated, along with the bedding, but overall a nice stay. We had everything needed at this spot, and the check in process was seamless.

Good Location

Good location for walking to the boardwalk or the beach. It was nice being on the bay side and watching the boats go by and the several species of birds catching fish and crabs.

Overall good place to stay. Close to boardwalk, beach and a very nice park! Great bay views. Downside, ice maker didn’t work, floors were not the cleanest and could definitely use some furniture updates ( the living room furniture had seen its better days.

This was a great unit with short walk to beach/boardwalk. Beautiful view of bay with elevator to unit. Well stocked kitchen.

St. Patrick’s weekend

Great location for the race and all the down town bars! Sunsets were GORGEOUS! Wasn’t crazy about having to pick up packet- but they were easy to communicate with and accommodating! Would love to rent again!

Beautiful Condo

Condo was wonderful. Large bathrooms and showers. Great view. EXTREMELY clean and well maintained. Listing shows 2 parking places. Only one spot is designated with the condo number. Other spots are available for the building, but they are guaranteed. Would definitely rent again.

Eh..

No WIFI in the further rooms and the floors were DIRTY. No dishwasher soap, no swiffer pads and no way to turn on the hose in the balcony.

Please know that we are available 7 days a week, had you just called us upon your arrival we would be happy to send the cleaners back to re-do the floors. We do communicate that you would need to supply all soaps and paper products..

Was a great location

Place was as it stated. Very nice over all . The cleaning crew could use some lessons on how to clean. Ceiling fans were very dirty , underbeds was nasty. Use tissues and lots of dust . Sand on floors but that could be because. Outside star s are was sandy . Dishes were left in dishwasher not put away from last rental. Other than that the place was great . Just needs a deep clean and would of been a wonderful place allway around . Location and view were grwat. Loved the placejust wish it was cleaner . Would Rent again..

Location was good for what we needed

I don’t know who cleans this property but they should be ashamed of themselves. The ceiling fans are filthy, there was dirty on every single baseboard. One of the girls dropped her phone charger behind one of the nightstands so we pulled it out , and there was trash everywhere, so we checked the others and they were no better. The coffee maker takes 30 minutes to brew a pot ( needs to be replaced) the ice maker doesn’t work and there was food left in the freezer. I don’t know who over sees this property but shame on you. For the amount of money we paid this was unacceptable.

Great location but needs a good cleaning

All of the reviews are spot on. The location of this property is fantastic to easily get to the beach and boardwalk. The bay side is peaceful and the sunsets are incredible from the balcony! There is parking under the building at street level with an elevator which is helpful to move in and out with luggage. However, it seems the property owners don't care about these reviews since I see the same things stated over and over and nothing has been done in response. The master bedroom comforter is gross with stains and the pillows are beyond flat. The front two rooms are dim because of the hallway outside of the windows, not a big deal, but the listing photos are way brighter than what you actually get. The living room furniture is worn and stained and, as everyone states, the floors are dirty. Understandable that they may get that way during your stay, but they were that way upon entry. I shouldn't need to call to have them come back, they should be done properly the first time. The hose on the balcony doesn't attach to anything, not sure of it's purpose.

Dear Cheryl Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I was of course very concerned to read your review. The sofa and loveseat were professionally cleaned in July shortly before your arrival. We went to the property today to check the floors and the comforters and found the floors were clean as was the comforter--we could not find one stain on it. Please know that if you rent from us we are here to address any issues that may occur. We have clean bedding if bedding needs to be laundered, our cleaners will go back if something is not well cleaned. We hire the best cleaners that we can find and they do a lot of properties in a short time on Saturdays so unfortunately things are not always perfect but we are always ready to help and we and the property owner care.

Very nice place

Loved the location, the Condo was very nice only problem was the cleaning crew should go about cleaning the floor differently noticed this in other comments thought I would see for myself but Yes maybe use of a steam mop may help. Floors were dirty the rest of the place was good loved the owners touches.

Family vacation

I rented this for my adult children while I stayed with my wife in another condo. The kids (30 somethings) loved it. They made the easy walk to the beach everyday. A lot of room and beautiful sunsets.

Disappointing, average property, low value for cost despite nice location

Recalibrate your expectations of a luxury experience. When I walked in to central reservations. Steve P. looked me up and down before he greeted me (the same occurred with the associate we later had to call for TV issues). That immediately foreshadowed the level of service I would receive. As I listened to the other associate walk a family through their rental in detail with how to contact the office and their hours if anything were to go wrong, I knew Steve was doing the bare minimum. It made me feel that I was not in an inclusive environment. If you choose to rent this location, here is what is not disclosed (but does show up in other reviews): The wifi in the front bedrooms is very weak-phones and the smart TVs will often lose connection. The front bedroom left TV was inoperable the entire time and after numerous calls, was never resolved. Poor customer service from Central Reservations (which is who you will be dealing with - not the owner). Safety: The security latch on the door is coming out of the screws and was that way before we arrived, but was not addressed. Quality: Average cleaning done - dishes, cups and flatware still dirty, drawers and cabinets not inline, vertical blind missing, refrigerator tray loose. Fair overall cleanliness - other reviews affirm this. Very little quality checking done on this property. I took pictures of all the issues. Overall, the value is not here for the cost, this condo is not luxury. Disappointing. Just calibrate your expectations. I also left a similar review on the paper evaluation they provide at the property.

Cleanliness

We rented another unit in this building 2 years ago and had no complaints. We stayed in South Bay 102 this time. Our feet were dirty the first night we arrived from the floors. Had to wear shoes the rest of the stay. Obviously the floors are not cleaned by housekeeping. The shower head in the master bath was corroded black. The comforter set and pillows in master bedroom had what appeared to be moderate amount of dried blood on them. There was food in the cabinets from last people who stayed. Very disappointing for the price.
