Super cute and comfy little spot, incredibly convenient location! The host was great! The weather was super cold and snowing when we stayed, the condo stayed warm and cozy throughout our stay. Beautiful view and back porch. Itā€™s truly a hidden gem and I almost donā€™t want to share how great of a place it is because itā€™s one of my favorite spots, we will absolutely be staying here again in the future!

Quaint little condo

We enjoyed our stay. A few things to know:There are stairs up to the condo and itā€™s a two story condo so if steps arenā€™t your thing this take note. Itā€™s in a great location just outside of downtown Banner Elk. The AC units are free standing so just know itā€™s not central air. Overall a good visit and would stay again.

Amazing cottage

Sweet and cozy cottage that looked just like the pictures. Great location for hiking and it had everything you need for a great stay. Would totally stay here again!

We loved the decor, proximity to shopping. Host also shared local knowledge of things to do,places to eat etc. Was a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our time in the area! We will look at staying here again in the future!

Quaint getaway

Nicely decorated, comfortable place with easy access to Grandfather Mountain. We enjoyed our visit and plan on returning! Everything was well stocked and perfect for our weekend trip.

Great home base for skiing at Sugar

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin looks exactly as pictured. It was a convenient location between the ski resort and restaurants/business (all less than 5 minutes from the unit). Plenty of space for two adults and our young daughter, and well stocked with dishes/cookware, blankets, etc. The unit manager was very communicative and responsive. she also provided us with many useful recommendations for things to do in the area. Would definitely return.

Highly Recommend This Rental

I would give this rental ten stars if I could. Cleanest place I have ever stayed in my life. We didn't need to bring a thing with us. Communication was great. Location was central to everything we wanted to see. Will definitely stay here when we come back to Grandfather Mountain.

Cozy place

We were in town for parents weekend at App State and wanted something different. This turned out to be the perfect spot. It was close enough that we could run down for activities, but far enough away that we didnā€™t have the crowds and noise that is usually associated with game day. Every thing worked perfectly and we had a great weekend, looking forward to staying here again!

We loved the condo, it looks exactly like the pictures only better. Katrina is an amazing host. She texted us to make sure we were able to check in & gave us a few tips for nearby grocery & restaurants. The condo had lovely decor & lots of personal touches. Anything you might need and more. My boyfriend & I were there for a concert series at Beech Mountain Resort and some hiking at Grandfather Mountain State Park. It was an amazing weekend, would definitely come back, and stay at Katrinaā€™s condo. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice Condo near Banner Elk

We visited this area for a tour of The Land of Oz on Beech Mountain. The owners assisted us with our luggage at both check-in and check-out -- very friendly. The unit was very clean and well furnished and decorated. Throughout the condo, everything felt "tight". The kitchen counter space was very minimal, however, all appliances were very new. Downstairs had the kitchen, small dining area, TV, couch and recliner. Note that the only bathroom is upstairs. The bedroom is also upstairs - queen bed, chest of drawers (tv on top), and a very small closet. Wi-fi connection was speedy and easy to connect. We presumed that there would be satellite or cable TV - however, only streaming services were available. We learned about ROKU. There is a Food Lion about 2 miles to the south. Make sure you try Bella's Itilian across the parking lot from Food Lion. Don't bring a lot of luggage with you, but the unit is clean, modern, and comfortable.

Fantastic & Cozy

We rented Katrinaā€™s place for our 9 year anniversary and it was perfect. Not only was it spotlessly clean but she provided all the things we needed and more. Any small items you normally need to run to the store for were available. She even got us a very cute anniversary card, flowers and a great bottle of wine. Snacks, coffee, tea, and more were provided as well. The bed was very comfortable along with the linens and towels. We had a great time relaxing on the back porch which was super cute! We really enjoyed the space and found it to be perfect for our stay. Banner Elk has lots to offer as well. We did a wilderness adventure ropes course which was next to the alpine coaster, ate many meals in downtown Banner Elkā€” loved Banner Elk Tavern, stonewalls, Sorrentos bistro and Bellaā€™s breakfast and lunch. Also we hiked on grandfather mountain and went to grandfather mountain winery. It was such an enjoyable weekend and we highly recommend Katrinaā€™s place!!

Loved our stay!!

The Condo was absolutely adorable and met all our needs. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the accommodations. The size was prefect for myself and my two daughters. It was central to everything and exactly what I hoped for in my stay. The hostess was extremely nice and responded quickly with any question I had. My rating is a 10 out of 10 and I plan to return!!
