Kuratau - Kuratau Bach

Kuratau is a 3 bedroom bach, sitting right across the road from the Kuratau River mouth. A true classic kiwi bach, Kurutau is a relaxed base for your next getaway!

Stay toasty after a swim by the fireplace and enjoy easy summer nights with the BBQ on hand. There is a spacious private section on the property, which is great for a family game of backyard cricket in the sun!

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 is fitted with 2 single bunk sets, and Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. This is a great option for family group.

Unwind at the bach in the sunshine or head out to explore Kurutau and spend days on the water. This area is one of the best for fly fishing at Lake Taupō; so be sure to pack the fishing rods when you come to holiday at this peaceful and relaxing Kuratau bach!
Firewood is not provided, however the local convenience store sells bags of wood.

1. communication with property manager2. missing usual essentials - see below

A nice property, but some essentials which are usually provided with this kind of accommodation were missing: - dish detergent (I decanted some from a friend staying nearby, so there's some there now) - hand-wash / soap - paper towels (I found the BBQ was covered in fat & bits of food - had to use toilet paper to wipe clean) - salt & other condiments There may be other items I've forgotten. The house smelt very musty when I arrived, particularly the lower level and there were wet towels in the washing machine. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant.

Summer Holiday at Kuratau

Had a great summer holiday with grandchildren the had a great time swimming and riding there bikes around. Good trout location caught pently of trout fo the freezer. Thanks bachcare.

Perfect Location Old School Bach

The location of this property is awesome. Right across from lake. Takes ten seconds and you are at the water. House was clean and was your classic kiwi bach. We will definitely be booking again. Was great you could have pets and was loads of room for outdoor games on the yard. Thanks

Very comfortable, well furnished, clean and beautiful surroundings!

Very comfortable, well furnished, clean and beautiful surroundings! A fenced property would be helpful to families with small children (and a dog) But certainly not a major issue. Proximity to the Lake front is great! We have rebooked this property for a week in January and are so looking forward to another stay!!!
