BEACH FRONT VACATION HOME

The Bluewater Sandcastle is a beachfront 4 BDR 2 bathroom and outdoor shower home architecturally designed for occupation by 2 families at the same time. On each floor, it boasts a master bedroom, secondary bedroom, bathroom, living area with separate AC units. The kitchen and 'Great Room' are both located on the main level. The Sandcastle also has a private beach walkover and over 600 sf of outdoor deck (including a covered second story deck). Additionally you will have access to an outdoor grill, patio chairs, 2 Picnic tables, 2 refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, oven, stove, W/D, tankless hot water heater and cement covered parking for at least 6 vehicles. The beach house is on water well and septic. We have water softener and whole house water filtration system but recommend you to bring drinking water.

The Bluewater Sandcastle is just 60 short minutes south of Houston and is within 2 miles of restaurants, convenience stores, water sports, water parks, crabbing piers and much more! The Sandcastle is also only 35 miles south of Galveston, where vacationers can take in Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park and Galveston's historic Strand area.

The home was absolutely beautiful and had EVERYTHING you needed plus more. It was clean and spacious and the air worked great. The view was stunning! The o my complaint is that the beds were too comfortable! We didn’t want to get out of bed! Haha. We will definitely be staying again!!!

Annual retreat

This was our 4th year at this vrbo, as usual there was an abundance and then some if everything we needed. It's practically turn key just show up w personal items most everything is in stock. The host is on top of absolutely all requests and over the top accommodating. We look forward to our week all year long

Best beach house ever

It was wonderful and we love this beach house and the porches! The owners are the friendly, attentive, and very responsive. Beach was clean and the full moon at night made it a great experience!

House on the beach

Beautiful!!! Had a wonderful and relaxed time in the house. It was comfortable and clean and so easy to speak to the owners. I loved how there was a walk way connecting the house to the beach!

Awesome beach house

This beach house has it all. The location can't be beat right on the ocean with amazing views from all the windows, great places to sit and enjoy the view, and the house is confortable with everything you could possibly need. Patti is a great host. This is our second year and we can't wait to return! Thank you

The Perfect Beach House

We love this house--it has everything we were looking for--easy walkway to the beach, lots of sandy beach, porches that wrap around the house, and a private upstairs porch! The house is fully furnished and has lots of space. Yes, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also we love that the owners were attentive and responded immediately to us when we had a question.

Perfect Beach Getaway for a Large Family!

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach house in Surfside! Our family of 13 had plenty of space, and everything about the home exceeded our expectations.The location couldn't have been better—right on the beach with breathtaking ocean views from the deck and living areas. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise each morning was unforgettable.The house was clean, well-stocked, and super comfortable for a large group. There was plenty of seating, beds, and room for the kids to play and adults to relax. The open layout made it easy for everyone to stay connected, whether we were cooking meals, playing games, or just lounging around.Communication with the host was top-notch—quick, clear, and friendly every step of the way. They made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly.If you're looking for a perfect beachfront escape for a big group, this is the one. We’ve stayed here 3 times for the 4th of July and will be back again next year!!

Perfect Week at the Beach

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for what we were looking for… easy beach access from the house and close to vehicle access points for when we wanted to drive our tent, coolers, etc. to our spot on the beach. This area of beach was not overcrowded at all during our trip. The house fit our needs perfectly. Lots of comfortable seating in the common areas and the beds were all very comfortable as well. The second living space upstairs was great for the night owls in the family to watch TV or read. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home

This is our second stay at this beautiful home! The home is located right on the beach, with sweeping views from all areas/bedrooms of the house. The home is stocked very well with anything you may need in the kitchen! We stayed for the 4th of July holiday and let me tell you! You will never see a better firework show anywhere!!! It was amazing. The home offers plenty of space for up to 14 people comfortably. Love this place and our family will be back!

Amazing Stay

We had a group of 12 family members, ranging in age from 16-80. Every single person LOVED this home and rated it a 10/10 in every way-location, cleanliness, amenities, beauty. My daughter is disabled and can't walk far, but she had no trouble getting right to the beach and back due to the close proximity, right out the front door and across the walkway. I chose this home, and thank goodness my entire family is still raving about our stay.

The home was beautiful, very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need plus some and the two refrigerators were a huge bonus. Patti is a wonderful hostess and very easy to communicate with. The beach walkover was destroyed by hurricane Beryl, just a few weeks prior to our stay, but the beach access road was just two lots away. Family Vacay

This place has everything you could possibly need or want for a beach vacay. Location is awesome, view is beautiful. The amenities were perfect for our family. The kitchen is FULLY stocked w every type of pan, cooking device, serving utensil, plates, cups, etc. Floor plan is great for entertaining. All kinds of indoor and out door toys for kids. The owner / manager was awesome to work with. Yes- you have to bring drinking water, but we do that anyway, no matter where we go. We had a great time in a beautiful home on the beach!!

Great Family Getaway!

My family and I came down while Surfside was still cleaning up from Beryl and the power was just restored the day before we were to arrive. I was in contact with Patti during the days before and even though she was dealing with her own issues with her home she was still able to get some new carpet and clean up done for us so we could still have our trip. She was very upfront as to the conditions that were still present and what we should expect and there was not a thing that she was wrong about, even the mosquitos. Thank you Patti for all you and your family did for my family so this could still happen. It was a great trip!

The Perfect Relaxing Getaway

This is the perfect property for a family beach getaway in Surfside. The house is clean and has great space, in that there is an main floor and upstairs living area with televisions. The kitchen is open concept and perfect for group gatherings. The beds are very comfy - we all had a great nights x 3 sleep! I have never seen a better stocked kitchen, as far as any pan, dish or utensil you might need to use. I think maybe the best thing was the walkway over to the beach. Perfect! The water is stinky and not for drinking-this is normal for any beach house in this area. Bring water. Be sure to shut the door after you walk in so you don't get mosquitos in the house. Mosquitos are normal for this area. Water from recent rains sits out in the grassy dunes all down the beach, and you get mosquitos. The wonderful ocean breeze kept them away 95% of the time so this was not a problem. We really enjoyed sitting out on the back veranda, in the beautiful chairs. We would definately return to rent this beach house again!

Family Beachhouse

The purpose of our vacation was for a week of healing after the lost of our son, my daughter's only brother,and our grandchildren's favorite uncle.The beachhouse was just perfect for the three families that stayed. It had a warm and fuzzy feeling , a home away from home. The kitchen couldn't have been stocked better. Beds were amazing and lots and lots of pillows. The web site mentioned you could experience issues with reception but we did not experience any issues with the cable TV,Wifi,or cell phone reception. I will say Saturday the beach was super busy and so was the evening traffic, but the rest of our stay it was quiet and peaceful. Washer/dryer were awesome. I think the only improvement I could suggest would be to invest in a filter system for drinking water. However, this was not a surpise as we knew ahead of time and made sure to have plenty on hand. Patricia did respond quickly with any questions or concerns we had. Overall our family had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful beach house to relax right on the beach!

This was our third year staying at this beach house. Obviously we love the house! Each year multiple generations have enjoyed the house. Last year we had 4 generations; this year we had 3 generations - grandparents through grandchildren for a total of ten people. The beach house is located in a perfect place - right on the beach - nothing blocking your views of the water. The house has 2 levels: 2 bedrooms/1 bath plus a living area on each level. There were a lot of upgrades to the home since our stay last year! It was clean and well-maintained and had all the comforts of home: the beds are great; the furniture was in good shape; the kitchen was well-equipped - even had 2 refrigerators (a real plus since we ate all our meals at the house); plenty of towels for the bathroom. The only negative was the lack of a pantry - but we ended up using some shelving used for displaying knick knacks. Our favorite thing to do besides being on the beach was to sit on the second level porch and watch the waves during the day or the stars at night! We fished from the shore, built sandcastles and boogie boarded. Patti was great to work with - she called within minutes of our arrival to ensure everything was in order. Great beach house! Highly recommended!
