Hi Nancy. Let me remind you of what happened during your stay: you booked the place for 2 guests and you said in your message it was you and your husband. You told me then that more guests were to arrive (not included in the total # of guests that you booked). Our pricing is similar to a hotel, the more people, the more you pay. As a curtesy because it seemed like you never used similar house sharing apps, we did not charge you the extra $40 fee you were to pay if you had originally booked with the right number of guests. I took my time to bring extra sheets for you and I made the beds for you and your additional guests. On the property description it said there was no washer or dryer available, that however, I will not consider as I accidentally forgot to delete the picture of the washer and dryer previously, however I left you a good amount of quarters to use at the nearby laundromat. We have Sling on our TVs, which is a “cable-free cable” it has the same channels as a regular cable but it runs on our internet and it’s very very good, I’m not sure what the problem was? Anyways, as I mentioned during one of our conversations, the number of guests question on the booking is what I rely on while making the beds and preparing the house with a good amount of towels, soaps, etc… I don’t understand why you’d put down 2 people and have 4 people and expect all the beds to be made if it clearly said on your text that it was you and your husband, and I reiterate had I known more people were coming previously during the few conversations we had days before your booking dates, everything would be in place for the correct amount of guests. If you book a hotel for 2 people you may be given a king size bed for instance, if you show up with 4 people, it’s not the hotel’s choice your number of guests were wrong - similar situation here. Next booking on the app, be sure to put down the correct number and headaches will be avoided both by you and any host you may have in the future. Have a great week!

Hi Jae. Check-in notice will always be provided before your check-in time. You had the property address all along and I could not give you the password to the door simply because I hadn’t updated it yet from the previous guest. I do not use the same password over and over for security reasons and I believe anybody worried about their safety would agree with me. Yes, the property was cleaned and you actually saw me cleaning it when you arrived their 2 hours early to drop off your luggage... what happened was an accident and I already said how sorry I was. Our previous guest broke and shattered what appeared to be a cup or a bottle of wine or something. I swept everything first then I vacuumed and then I mopped it. If a small tiny glass particle survived all 3 cleaning steps, I am REALLY sorry!!! But I thought I had done my best. A first aid kit was provided!!! We left 7 towels, 3 face towels, each of the 3 queen size beds had fitted sheets, flat sheets, multiple pillows and comforter. There was also an extra fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow and comforter if you wanted to convert the office couch into a bed. You were notified there was no blinds in the office. I would like to add too that the furnace is new and it is the second time it’s being used, some smell may happen but it goes away after the furnace goes off for a few minutes. During check out you left several lights on, a little bit of trash in every room and multiple hair clippers or something similar laying on the carpet in the master bedroom, one of them had a broken tip and I perforated the bottom of my foot, accidents happen! I stand by the other great reviews I got for my house and I believe the value you get is very good. We had a cat that lived in the house for maybe 1 week, if that, in December 2018 when we first moved in to this house. In March 2019 we had a company over to clean all carpets, couches, beds etc to be sure nothing would ever happen with a guest, and I apologize if you had some sort of reaction but I had taken some action previously and I will schedule another deep cleaning due to your reaction. Regarding the food in the refrigerator being expired, that is something I overlooked... guests come and go and they always buy stuff of their own and leave there.
