This a great apt close to St Telmo and Boca. Itā€™s great for 2 people but can sleep 4. The pool is an added bonus in the heat and great views if the weather coming and going.

Love this apartment!

Loved the apartment, the rooftop area/view, and the neighborhood. It was very easy to walk to grocery, bakery, restaurants, San Telmo Market, etc. The place was just what we wanted and we really got to get the feel of the neighborhood.

Convenient location, excellent host

This unit is very well located in the neighborhood and even within the building. The building is very secure and the lobby staff is very friendly and welcoming. The unit location at the rear of the building on a higher floor insulates you from noise on the street and makes it easy to use as a restful launch pad for exploring much of the city sights within walking distance. And, there are numerous restaurants and convenience shops if you forget to pack something or want to cook.

This one bedroom apartment is located in a newer building amid the historic San Telmo neighborhood. We did a lot of walking to see many sights but there is access to transit if a bus pass is purchased. There are also some nice restaurants nearby which we enjoyed.

Nice home-away-from-home

Let me begin with stating that the hosts were wonderful to work with before and throughout the visit. They and the live-in building supervisor and family do well to take care of the needs of their guests. For a couple or just a couple of friends, this apartment is a wonderful place located in the heart of San Telmo a quaint older subdivision with a lot of charm. There is a grocery store close by and Ubers and Taxis are frequently passing for longer commutes. The community in the building is kind and welcoming also.

The location was great but there were cleanliness issues. The linens and towels werenā€™t even washed after the previous tenants which is unheard of. We had to wait two days to buy tokens in order to wash them. The pillows need to be replaced and the bed was uncomfortable. Good size. Excellent water pressure. 5/10.

Laura was very responsive, and allowed us to check in early and check out late. obviously, this cant always be done. the apartment is spacious and well equipped. plenty of storage space for all of our stuff. very easy to Uber to and from here. we explored a good part of the city. be very careful with your personal belongings, everywhere in the city. my husband had his phone stolen from his front pocket, in the downtown area in daylight. they're very talented thieves here.

Laura was a true delight! From the start, she was warm and accommodating, arranging a taxi for my airport pickup and providing a lovely travel guide once I booked the accommodation. Laura was always prompt and responsive to my questions through the app, making my experience seamless. Overall, she is an excellent hostess, and I would happily stay with her again.However, I feel itā€™s important to share my overall impression of the unit. While the description was accurate and the rooftop pool beautiful, some aspects fell short of my expectations. The building felt safe, but the hallways and gym showed signs of wear. Inside the unit, I noticed maintenance issues, like light fixtures detached from the ceiling and a mattress in need of replacement. Small details, such as wire hangers in the closet and mostly empty shampoo bottles, were surprising. The unit had a musty smell and high humidity despite running the heat, and it could use a fresh coat of paint. Better storage for cleaning supplies would help, and having laundry detergent and a clean sponge available would have been nice, as some dishes appeared dirty and there were stains on a pillowcase.Despite these issues, I enjoyed my stay. The location is fantastic, close to the heart of Buenos Aires and public transportation, making it a convenient spot to rest after exploring. Thank you, Laura, for your hospitality!

Wonderful apartment, well-meaning host

We loved the quiet, spacious apartment, balcony, views, and neighborhood. This rental was terrific value for a long stay. Laura was cheerfully accommodating when we had to change our arrival date and our departure time, and she kindly made our pre-dawn check-in painless. Host services during our stay were sometimes hotel-quality, other times spotty. To her credit, Laura provided us a wealth of valuable advice for our stay, and it took her only minutes to have a corkscrew delivered to our door! Other requests went unfulfilled for days. Though promised before we arrived, we did not get a second set of keys (needed for building entry and exit) until the 10th day of our 12-day stay, which was a real issue when one or both of us were out of the building on different schedules, as there is no staff in the lobby, and you need to use a key fob to unlock doors to enter as well as exit the building. We did not have the promised A/C in our BR for nearly all of our stay, and despite repeated requests, never got hand towels for the bathroom, a first for us with a VRBO property. These lapses notwithstanding, Laura is a lovely person who offers extraordinary value for travelers, and we're glad we found this apartment.

O apartamento Ć© muito bem localizado no bairro de San Telmo, um dos bairros mais tĆ­picos de Buenos Aires. Tudo no apartamento funciona bem, com destaque para a ducha impecĆ”vel e o aquecimento. Quarto bem equipado com Ć³timo colchĆ£o e roupas de cama de qualidade. Sala confortĆ”vel e espaƧosa. Acolhida simpĆ”tica por Diego, sempre atento e prestativo. Quando voltar a Buenos Aires, espero me hospedar novamente neste apartamento. Um obrigado caloroso para a proprietĆ”ria Laura que sempre respondeu prontamente a todas as mensagens.

Una estadĆ­a hermosa! Dpto tal cual se muestra en la foto Con todas las comodidades y mĆ”s. En un piso 9, pero con todas las ventanas y balcĆ³n asegurados. En una zona hermosa, turĆ­stica, rodeado de sĆŗper, carnicerĆ­as, verdulerĆ­as, subte a 4 cuadras, y a 3 cuadras de la avenida principal donde pasan todos los colectivos q te llevan a dĆ³nde quieras. Laura el anfitriĆ³n, increĆ­ble!! Desde el momento que decidimos hospedarnos en su dpto nos ayudĆ³ a que todo nuestro viaje fluyera increĆ­blemente! Originally from Buenos Aires, life has taken us to the U.S., but our hearts remain deeply rooted in our bohemian and artistic hometown. We travel back to Buenos Aires several times a year, drawn by its vibrant energy, the irresistible asado, the comforting ritual of Mate, and, of course, the unmatched sweetness of dulce de leche.
