This one-bedroom Ocean Front unit boasts beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The bedroom in this unit has a Queen bed and the living room has a pull out sofa bed, allowing this unit to accommodate up to four (4) people. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and a large Lanai for relaxing and taking in the beautiful ocean views. In front of this property is a large green belt that runs in front of the neighboring complexes and is great for taking walks or letting the kids go out and play. The beach in front of the property is a great walking beach, perfect for morning or evening strolls.

Fantastic Views!

We stayed here for a week and glad that we found a place with a fantastic view of the water. The place was clean and all the basics we needed. Glad we found this place.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay. The balcony was nice in the mornings watching the whales in the bay and overlooking the park below. A short walk to beach. The condo was very nice and clean apon arrival. Easy check in check out. They provide everything they had said. Beach chairs were great to take out on beach days.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Property management office was never open. One day I tried to catch the office early there was one man inside on the phone that showed no interest in what I wanted while I was waiting so I lift. The bathroom shower walls was not cleaned properly. The car parking was super tight. Will not say here again. Not very inviting

Worst place we ever stayed. The view was good & that’s it. everything needs to be redone carpet, countertops, walls, and air conditioning that works. All the appliances are very old. The showerhead is low. The entire bathroom needs to be redone. You need to king size bed, screen door doesn’t shut. I could go on and on but overall it just needs to be totally redone. It was really hard just to stay there for three weeks. I wish I had been able to figure out how to move. Also vrbo adds so much $$$$$$.😩

The mattress if fine but the frame is really really creaky when either of us would roll over. It has been like this with each stay.

Older condos but very nice

This building was very quiet. The parking spot was listed on the whiteboard by the office door. Parking stalls are very narrow. Beach beyond the grassy area that is owned by the city. Not much beach there but the sounds of the ocean are enjoyable. Lovely view of the setting sun for sunsets. Is the weather gets hot the window air conditioner in the living room does not cool the entire apartment. We had ocean breezes at night so it was not a problem. Overall, nice location with good views of the ocean.

Gorgeous view !!!

Yearly family trip. Just the 4 of us. It was a perfect location. Five minute walk or 2 min drive to everything. Whether it’s shopping,food, or beach. It is all close. Best of all is the view from the lanai(patio). You can see full ocean view with your coffee and breakfast or watch the sunset every evening. Awesome vacation spot. Would definitely come back.

Leinaala 401 was a nice place. Very convenient to stores and restaurants and easily accessible to highways. The unit itself could use a little updating but overall a very comfortable place to stay. Had all our meals on the deck watching whales and turtles and...the best sunsets!

Beware of the “A/C” !!!!!

Although the apartment was clean and the view was beautiful - the owners really need to consider investing in central air conditioning for this unit. The moment we entered the apartment it felt like an oven. We unpacked and gave the unit some time to cool down, then realized the air conditioning is set to a timer - so every few hours you have to get up from what you are doing and reset it - that wasn’t going to work for us in the middle of the night. We ended up calling Maui Condo and homes since we had gotten a note on our door saying the property managers were off island. They ended up finding us a unit with central A/C - but still was offered absolutely no refund, leaving us short on funds for the rest of our vacation. Not how I wanted to start my first trip to the islands, so incredibly disappointed.

Great view, ocean view with palm trees in front, fully equipped kitchen for convenience. Only issue is no AC in bedroom and stained mattresses covers on bed and sofa bed that should have been noticed easily to wash or change. Other than that, happy overall.

Quiet - great view

The condo was on the 4th floor and had fabulous sunset views every night. The photos are reflective of the unit. The furniture is a little dated, but the unit was very clean and the kitchen was really well equipped. We did a lot of cooking at the unit so it was great. We used the Maui bus system to get around. There is a stop within a block of the unit. The bus only runs once per hour but you can leave from here and get most places around the island if you are willing to wait (there is a great ap that shows you where the bus is). If you came when it was really hot the back bedroom may get a little warm. We were here in November and it was fine. Management company is very responsive to any needs.

Amazing spacious condo with spectacular view and great location!

We couldn't have been happier with the condo. It was extremely spacious, bright and clean. Everything you need in the kitchen, it feels like home. Location was great, close to everything, near lots of shops and beaches. What we loved most about the condo was the view...overlooking the ocean, mountains and palm trees with an amazing sunset view every night. Loved waking up to that view! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody.

January 2018 Stay

We had a wonderful time at #401 condo at the Leinaala tucked away far from the noise of Kihei Road with a beautiful ocean/sunset view. It also is the best stocked condo I've stayed at yet with everything you need for cooking your own meals, plenty of sheets and towels, including two comfortable folding beach chairs...it feels like a home away from home. Plus the Leinaala has two wonderful on-site managers who embody the true Aloha spirit...I'm already planning on coming again next year!

Loved the sunsets and convenience to the beach

Spent 4 days at this location and enjoyed it very much. Overall a positive experience and we would stay here again. My wife loved it and I thought it was good. Pros: * Loved the location - right on the beach and with access to a huge lawn area * Beautiful sunsets * Good but not excellent beach (some coral and rocks and some protection from open ocean) * Convenient and only 1 or 2 miles away from grocery stores, restaurants, and souvenir shops * Easy drive to airport Cons: * Condo building is a little old and this condo is on 4th floor * Air conditioner loud * AC doesn't reach the bedroom which got a little warm at time in the afternoons. Didn't want to open window in bedroom because the window opens into the condo walkway and would provide little privacy. * Laundry is a public laundry room that is downstairs and not in the unit which I didn't understand from the description. Overall, a good experience.
