Come stay in luxury at BB's Beach Bliss. We strive to provide exceptional service and accommodations and have a proven track record with our property on Lake Burton, VRBO # 407890. Renting with us, you will be in good hands. We pay attention to the details to make your experience one of memories. You can count on outstanding beds, an exceptional media experience with large TVs and ESPN, and an excellent location with great amenities. We want you to have a good time. We offer:
2 beds/2 full baths
1 king bed in master bedroom w/ on-suite. Newly renovated walk in shower with tile floor and walls.
1 queen bed in 2nd bedroom.
Full bath across hall from 2nd bedroom with tub. Newly surfaced tile.
Well stocked kitchen
48" TV in Living Room w/ ESPN
40" TV in Master Bedroom w/ ESPN

Things to Do:
We have a guest book in the condo but a ride over to Jekyll Island certainly is a 'must do'. They have a sea turtle rehabilitation center. Not sure about Driftwood beach. It got hit pretty hard by one of the hurricanes that came through and we have not been over to Jekyll lately. Driftwood Bistro is my sister's favorite restaurant and is on Jekyll island (I think it's good too).

Cumberland Island is also extremely interesting to visit. You have to make a reservation to ride the boat over. It is a bit of a drive from SSI but well worth it. They have wild horses and other wildlife. Also some really rich family used to own the island. Think it was the Carnegies. I would recommend you take the guided tour. It is a little pricey but so interesting.

Deep sea fishing - lots of charters that you can catch at the marina or the pier (we have not done this though).

Downtown Brunswick. Lots of cute restaurants and shops and they have made a bunch of films there. Very interesting.

Finally, the Island is very fun to explore. You may just decide to stay on the Island to be quite honest.

Daughters Birthday Weekend

We had a amazing time. We went to the beach on SSI and Jekyll island. We ate at my fav place Iguana's. The shops always great. I come down here a few times a year with my family and we only stay at Ocean Walk.

Beautiful Condo in Great Location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. It's just a short drive from town and the beach. On a side note, the mattresses are very comfortable to sleep in unlike many other rental places we've stayed.

Perfect for the price!

We had a wonderful time at Beth's condo and at St Simons. It was clean, comfortable, and close to everything. The kids loved riding the bikes everywhere! We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay

The unit was clean, well stocked and in a great location. Communication from the owner was fabulous. It is a short drive to the beach and the village and many restaurants are within walking distance. We had a great time!

Great condo, perfect location

We spent a month on SSI and the condo could not have been more perfect. Condo has everything you need, is in a great location and residents/visitors in Ocean Walk are all super friendly! Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone visiting SSI!

Wife and I first time visit to island. Accomodation were great. Comfortabke, clean and convienant. Surrounding visitors and locals friendly. Enjoyable hassle free stay. Beth was terrific answering misc questions as we got closer to trip. Will be back next year

Enjoyable

Great location. 10 min walk to town. 5 min drive to Massingale Beach. Access to rest of island requires a car but bicycles are rentable. SSI has always been a favourite for us and we are still big fans.

I'm Beth Douglas and this is my husband Bill Douglas. We love St. Simons Island. I manage our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo and am just really starting to get to know everything that the Island has to offer. We bought our condo unfurnished and I have had a lot of fun fixing it up. I think we both thought we had lost our minds though when we were trying to carry a king size mattress up a flight of stairs at 3:00 in the morning!! That was no fun to say the least. We figure if we can get a king mattress up 1 flight of stairs, we can overcome just about any challenge. We are still married (no divorce) believe it or not and we are both still alive (did not kill each other) so maybe that speaks to the tenacity of our marriage or perhaps to our intelligence...I am not sure which. We look forward to being able to enjoy many happy vacations at SSI and hope that you will too.

I also manage my family's property at Lake Burton: vrbo #407890. My father is elderly so I have taken over with the help of my sister and brother. I do the rentals and any money we make goes back into the property. My brother and sister help with managing projects, etc. I have really enjoyed interacting with my renters and our repeat rentals have grown from year to year. This year, as I believe a kind of act of love to me, my husband along with my support, decided to purchase an investment property on St. Simon's Island. I would try to rent and manage it since I liked doing the Lake property so much. We looked at many properties but settled on Ocean Walk because of location mainly and then the amenities. I also liked our unit because it has tile in the living area and granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, bead board in several of the rooms, and other details that made it special. I hope you will do me the pleasure of coming to stay at BB's Beach Bliss. BB is what my niece calls me. She is 14 now but is very dear to my heart and it also stands for Bill and Beth. Seemed perfect.

BB's Beach Bliss offers many unique benefits such as high quality TVs, beds, and furnishings. I also try to pay attention to small details too. I don't mind providing a variety of games, small touches such as cotton balls, Q-tips, hair dryers, some beach items, etc. I also am open to suggestions from my renters. We are always looking for ways to improve BB's Beach Bliss and make your stay better for the next time you come. We want you to have a good time and be comfortable. Your experience while staying with us is very important.
