One of the best houses on the river for relaxing or scalloping. You get the entire house to yourselves. You also get use of your own dock that can fit 2 boats. Peaceful and quiet with none of the boat traffic of Kings Bay. Tile floors throughout the entire home.

Key West style home located halfway between the Gulf and Kings Bay. Located on a quiet, dead end street on the deepest canal in Crystal River. NO BRIDGES TO AND FROM THE HOUSE TO THE GULF. Because it's a dead end canal and not on the main river, there's very little boat traffic compared to the busy areas which allow for a more peaceful vacation.

Easy to bring your power or sailboat right up to the dock. Less than 2 miles to nearest boat ramp. With quick access to the Gulf, it's the ideal location for fishing and scalloping! This house is located on the deepest canal with no bridges to go under, making this one of the only homes on Crystal River that you don't have to worry about the tides to make it back after being out on the river.

It is also the perfect location for watching Manatees, visiting Three Sisters Spring, or just relaxing on one of the large, breezy balconies. Minutes from Plantation Golf Club. Has large dock and two kayaks so you can leave right from the house.

House is a two bedroom (king and queen, brand new furniture), two bathroom, with a day bed and trundle (both twin beds) in a crow's nest with 360 degree views of the area. Must use the spiral staircase to access the crow's nest, may be challenging for some guests with mobility issues. Tile Floors throughout ensure cleanliness and easy cleaning. Two large balconies, one on the East and one on the West, allow for great views of the Sunrise and Sunset. BBQ on the grill. All living space is upstairs on the second floor.

Fully stocked kitchen and house with everything you need to just walk in and start your vacation. Basic linens such as bedding, bath towels and kitchen towels provided. We supply a basic stock of paper products to include paper towels and toilet paper.

Home had a strong urine smell when we arrived which was sourced to the guest bathroom. None of the TV remotes worked properly which were sourced to dead or missing batteries, The ice maker didn’t function. That being said the location was good and the property was as expected.

Functional House, Great location

Overall enjoyed the house, access to dock and water for boat. Some maintenance needed, some outdoor chairs and queen mattress need replacing.

Good house in a good location. Works great if you have a boat.

We had a good time there. House was clean and matched the photographs. The cleaning lady was very friendly and competent. Outside trash can was missing so we used a wheelbarrow found in the garage. Otherwise all was well. The spiral staircase to the crows nest was very tight and difficult to traverse with luggage. Very large people would have a problem getting to the upper bedroom.

Beautifully built house. Needs some upkeep.

It was apparent that much thought a love went into constructing this house. Wonderful little touches were found all around. We found everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The house was clean and stocked with all utensils, dished ,glasses and appliances.We needed to look past the lack of maintenance, however. Pocket doors were broken or missing and the walls were sorely in need of a coat of paint. We did not use the grill, kayaks or dock, so I can’t speak to them

Disappointing

Scheduled to spend 5 nights, 4 days fishing with family and friends. The house looks as the pictures portrayed; outdated in many aspects. Arrived early and able to unload personal effects in the house and go launch the boat. Arrived at the dock, cleats to tie boat were loose. Lights by dock non-functional. There was a garden hose stretched 50’ to the dock but no nozzle. After fishing the first full day, cleaned fish, washed up and went to cook. The gas grill was directly supplied by main propane tank to house. The home was completely out of propane and couldn’t use the gas grill or the stove / oven. Contacted via messenger in vrbo. Decent response but still had to go out and eat. No propane could be delivered until the Monday following our visit. We planned on cooking in the whole week, breakfast and dinner. The next day property staff was able to connect small propane tank for the gas grill. Saturday friends were to come by but we couldn’t cook so we ended up leaving an entire day early because of this. We were frustrated. The property owner stated going to refund some money for food but haven’t seen anything days later. There are many functional items in the house but as I said outdated: microwave has a turn dial for minutes, the bedroom upstairs has a tv that probably dates back to the 80s maybe 90s. One bedroom the pocket door that is off the tracks and doesn’t close, has a curtain. There are countless light switches in very odd locations around the kitchen area.

A Lovely Scalloping Vacation!

Comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Good efficient A/C and a wonderful bathtub in the master bedroom. Good deep dock for our Pathfinder fishing boat. Everything we needed for a fun family vacation.

Fantastic location in Crystal River

My family had a wonderful stay at this property in crystal river. Great place just outside of town but still on a beautiful canal with easy access to Crystal River and Kings bay. Only a short trip to the marina for a boat rental, and just a few minutes to town for all the restaurants on the water!!!

Slice of heaven just strokes away from Kings Bay

My family and I stayed three nights in this house right on the water. Downstairs we used the grill for some fish that we caught that day and took a kayak ride that were also provided. We played a little foosball that was also downstairs. House has everything you’ll need and when we had questions while there, the host responded immediately. Would definitely stay here again.

A bit disappointed

We have stayed at this property a number of times and always enjoyed our stay. This time there was a few uncharacteristic maintenance issues that needed to be addressed with the property manager. The property manager was responsive and attempted to deal with our concerns.

Nice house. Responsive management

House was fine. We stayed for 2 months. Management was very responsive to any of our concerns. BBQ was broken and we were brought a new one the 2nd day we were there. Overall a good experience.

Enjoyed the location and place in general. Very quiet and peaceful canal site. Colder than we were anticipating to really enjoy the water access/kayaks etc. Would love to come back in warmer weather to get that more from that aspect. Didn’t have a storm to get the full Crow’s Nest experience, but was an interesting space that was an added bonus. Only negative was the internet dropping out the first couple days, but got it fixed with a new router after a service call. Easy in’s/out’s. Nice place. Recommended!

Waterfront Paradise

This place is amazing. It sets right on the canal with it's own private dock (bring your boat). And it's only a couple of hundred yards down the canal to get to the main river, giving you access to the gulf and Kings Bay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and Winn-Dixie is nearby. If you book this property, don't miss the sunrises and sunsets from the cupola. Beautiful, Beautiful. This place checks all the boxes for an amazing getaway. Highly recommend.

Amazing Location!!!

We had a wonderful vacation in Crystal River and absolutely loved the house. The house was very clean and the location was amazing, right on a large canal! Our 28 foot boat fit perfectly on the dock and it was easy to get to the scallop grounds from the house! We will definitely come back!

Perfect for pets

Fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. Floating dock great for getting in & out of kayaks. Main living area is on 2nd level so there are stairs. Home is just a pictured. Will return.

We love spending time on Crystal River with Family and Friends. This house is a great way to get out of the city and relax on the river. We enjoy fishing and scalloping as well as relaxing at the many springs of Crystal River.

The house is on the deepest canal on Crystal River so there's never a need to worry about tides. Other houses are sometimes hard to get to in low tide, but this one is never an issue.
