We loved our stay at Prince Kuhio 315. The grounds were clean and well kept as was the condo. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Overall the unit was good. The fact that there was not an A/C was horrible. Especially when you are asked to close all windows and doors when you go out to explore. Only one fan. We actually purchased a second fan and left it for the next person. If you like or can handle humidity, this place would be great. The price was a little high but it’s Hawaii.

Great little spot

The unit was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. Nice view from the bedroom onto park and water. Easy walking distance to shops and beach. We really enjoyed it. No dishwasher but the positives more than outweighed this little inconvenience.

Koloa with an ocean view

We absolutely loved the apartment and location! It was clean, had a wonderful view and amazing breeze in bedroom! Only feedback of what could have been better... the bed has an uncomfortable mattress that is extremely loud with every little movement. The curtains in the bedroom allow lights (car lights) to come through all night long. Those are the only two things I would change to make it absolutely perfect! We had Amy's mobile massage come and the living room is large enough to accommodate two massage tables which was awesome! The location was great! Walking distance to two beaches, Baby beach and Lawai beach!

Nice stay

We had a nice few Days in this clean nice condo. Weather wasn’t the friendliest but we enjoyed ourselves. Host was very quick to respond to any of our request. Would stay again.

Older but well maintained lovely condo in great Kauai location!

Spacious and clean condo though needs updating of furnishings. Beautiful grounds close to nice small beach and snorkeling cove with beautiful sunsets. Great location for walking to shops, restaurants and other locations of interest. Enjoyed the ocean view from the lanai (off the bedroom) and another peak view from the living area. A downer that I missed was no dishwasher. There are several Weber BBQ grills and we enjoyed grilling while there. Overall, a lovely time at the Prince Kuhio.

Fabulous Location Great Condo

This is our second time staying at the Prince Kuhio Condos and we love it there. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise from our balcony, the beach was across the street, multiple excellent restaurants near by. The condo itself was super well equipped for our time there - we loved the fact that there were beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet. I'd recommend this location to anyone - however be aware that the management company they use (Kauai Exclusive Management) is lacking in responsiveness. We managed just fine without their help but I would not recommend their services.

Fantastic Location, Okay Condo

The location was fantastic - beautiful view of the ocean, easy 5-10 minute drive (Poipu beach) or walk (Lawaii Beach) to snorkeling sites and quick driving access to roads for shopping or touring the island. We spent most of our time away from the property and condo. The property looks older but seems maintained. We appreciated having a rinsing station for feet near the parking lot. The only bad was the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd floor smelled like an animal used for their bathroom. The meh of the condo - outdated paint (rusty/ moldy tiles, corners, walls) and electrical outlets (many wouldn't hold a plug), living room furniture comfy but outdated, king mattress was okay but the bed was very squeaky with every movement, tiny shower, all closets had a musty or sour smell, and the sliding bedroom blinds didn't close smoothly or entirely. With no A/C and daily rain the evenings were muggy and two large fans didn't really cool off the unit until after midnight. There was no dishwasher so we ended up not using the kitchen much even though we usually cook (prefer the sanitization of a dishwasher). The good: the condo was clean and spacious. The lanai with the ocean view was used daily. The chairs in the master were comfortable and the bedding was soft. We used the beach chairs daily and a cooler once (ice packs for the cooler were provided). The wifi was great in the main area but spotty in the bedroom. We would return to this area but likely not to this condo.

Wonderful location and comfortable accommodation

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect for exploring the south shore and we LOVED being within a few minutes walk of Lawai Beach for some of the best snorkeling! The unit itself was comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. Since we tend to cook a lot, I appreciated having some basic spices/oil on hand and not needing to buy them. We were there in early August and though there's no A/C, we opened the windows and turned the fans on and found that the unit cooled down well relatively quickly. Our solution was to spend a bit of time in the pool while the cool down was happening! Would happily return :)

Lazy Lounging on Lovely Lanai

We loved sitting on the Lanai (even if the table made it a bit crowded) watching the clouds go by and the waves come in. Delightful. Space was clean and spacious. And outfitted with all one could need for a wonderful stay in Hawaii.

Great location and relaxing stay

Beautiful grounds. 2 beach front areas in walking distance. We did not get to use as poured and dangerous surf our entire trip, but I would have enjoyed either area. Incredible location. We drove all over the island & found ease of getting anywhere with limited traffic near the rental. Would have gone nuts adding 15-20 min to every trip to get out of some areas. Condo was great overall. Beautiful grounds with tons of blooming orchids. Lovely decor, comfortable seating, nice appliances. Bed was wonderful; I’m a mattress and sheet snob. Kitchen was well appointed (could use a pizza cutter) Water pressure in shower was good. Got a bit stuffy when we had to shut all the windows for the pouring, wind driven rain. Hair dryer, cooler, and various beach items available with rental (should be added to listing!) I hauled a hairdryer that I could have left home. Downsides- being overly nit picky. Somethings that would make our stay even better. No light switches upon entry so blindly trying to get to lamps without walking into furniture. Sharp corners on glass top coffee table. No coat hooks or coat rack by door so dumping items on the floor or laying on furniture. Electrical could use some outlets updated/ we had issues finding outlets to charge electronics.(This was also possibly our charging plug issue.). A few cracked outlets - one by the vanity table in the bathroom. In unit laundry would have made this rental a 5++!! Our biggest issue: Laundry is shared by all units and only open 8 am- 8 pm. (Rental company said different hours & cost) very challenging to get in if not home all day. Got last washer one afternoon. We were busy touring and could not wash wet & muddy clothes before heading home which was a big bummer. Cons: 4 washers 3 dryers + one that was air dry only. Minimum $2.50 per load for wash and another $2.50 to dry for lowest times. XL washers more. Plus: there is a change machine in room for $1 or $5 bills. We would stay again here unless I find a nearby unit with in unit laundry.

Awesome views and great location

Ocean view from the deck. Tropical garden view and pool out the front. Clean unit that had everything that was advertised. Great snorkeling beach across the street. Very close to Poipu Beach area for swimming/body-boarding/snorkeling as well as lots of turtles and seals, but in a much quieter setting. Our keypad battery died when we were there, and they were very responsive to get it fixed right away.

Great location near snorkeling and small beach

We enjoyed our stay and the nice Prince Kuhio property. I was surprised there was no AC (not super evident in the listing). We stayed in January and could have still used some cooling in the bedroom beyond the supplied fans. Well appointed condo with many little extras like beach chairs.

Beautiful location from our balcony.

Overall, this place is perfect. It’s very spacious. Grounds and pool are gorgeous. We would stay here again for sure. Only negative comment is the electric needs to be updated. It’s really really old. Plugs don’t always work because they are so loose. Didn’t stop us from finding other outlets!
