Turtleback Beach is a charming coastal Townhome situated in The Commons, adorned with tortoise, surfboard, and island dƩcor in calming shades of blue and green. This is a great location to rent one or more units for family reunions, retreats, and gatherings with friends. There is a large shared pool, hammocks for relaxing, shared charcoal grills, and picnic tables for outdoor cookouts under the shade of a cabana in the center of the units. Each unit has an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand from the beach. Walk straight into the open and inviting living area made up of a love seat, a couch (which doubles as a Queen sleeper sofa) with plush pillows and two matching armchairs sit before a flat-screen TV. Beside the living room, there's plenty of space to enjoy dinner at the large wooden dining table with seating for eight and three additional stools at the breakfast bar. A convenient half bath serves this floor. Overlooking the dining area is a full kitchen equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. From here, hardwood stairs lead up to the second level to find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A master bedroom sits at the top of the stairs (BR1) furnished with a King-size bed, nightstands, a closet, a dresser for your beach attire, and a wall-mounted TV. The ensuite bathroom contains a granite vanity and a tile tub/shower. Perfect for kids, a second bedroom (BR2) consists of a set of Full over Full bunk beds and a wall-mounted TV for movies or cartoons. Just next door, everyone can freshen up in a shared hallway bathroom with a coastal theme vanity and a tiled stand-up shower. At the end of the upstairs hallway, a bright third bedroom (BR3) is appointed with a Queen-size bed, nightstands, a closet, and a wall-mounted TV. The full-size stackable washer and dryer are tucked neatly away in the upstairs hall closet. Approximately 0.5 miles to the beach, and 0.8 miles to restaurants, shops, and nightlife. You deserve to get away from it all, book today!

Coming back!

My mom requested a beach trip for her birthday. Unfortunately our other townhome was double the price and we just couldnā€™t afford it. I was panicking trying to find one just as good as it and I am so lucky to have found one better!! 4 min golf cart drive to the beach, and very close to gas stations and gift shops. We used a golf cart the entire time!! We loved the credit for the beach chairs and they just made the golf cart rental easy as well since it was through the same company. We hope that this property will be our usual rental!

Beach with the Grands

We took our 4 grandchildren for a quick beach trip & your house was perfect!!! They loved everything about the place & being able to walk out the front door to the pool was a plus.

Great family location

We enjoyed our stay at Turtleback Beach. Kitchen was well-stocked and the table was large enough to gather around for forced family fun. šŸ˜Š The porch was comfy and the pool was clean for post-beach swimming.

Nice stay

Was a very nice place. Very clean good area. Pool is kinda small only goes up to 5ā€™ and all the other condos are super close so it did get a little packed on the weekend but mornings were very quite it wasnt bad I would definitely stay again just probably during the week.

Great place to stay near the beach

Very nice property. Very clean, roomy and super close to the beach. It did get a little nosey at night with the surrounding properties. This was not the owners fault. Guests around us just seem to stay up and party until well into the early morning without consideration to others. I noticed security around the rest of the stay who kept things down the last two nights. Great property.

Cute townhome!

Super cute and clean townhome with a pool right out the front door (although the pool could have definitely been cleaner!). The townhome was in a perfect locationā€¦.close to a beach access road and everything on the island. Lots of parking. It had all the amenities we needed. My kiddo appreciated the full size bunk beds! Overall, great stay. We would love to stay here again!

Pool rules werenā€™t enforced which lead to a late night loud party. The party however didnā€™t effect us being able to sleep. You couldnā€™t hear them indoors. Listing that the place had a grill was correct but better verbiage as a ā€œcommunity grillā€ would be more appropriate. The place was so clean, so pretty, well kept. We loved the townhome and the amount of effort put into supplying it. All we bought for the week was laundry detergent and food. Donā€™t worry about anything else this place had it. Loved this place 10 out of 10 recommend. We will be back.

Crazy Girlsā€™ Trip

Our trip to the beach included long-time friends and three generations of our family. The condo was roomy and clean with a well-equipped kitchen. The outside porch had seating, a grill, and a ceiling fan with the community pool only steps away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come here again.

Great Family Vacay

Property was accurately described on website. Rental was extremely well supplied. Chose this property mainly because pet friendly. Enjoyed the location of the rental and that the pool was right outside the front door. Short drive to beach. Would stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: DĆ©cor was charming but otherwise an average stay. Main areas were cleaned ok but main floors could have used another wash and floor edges, underneath and behind furniture was quite dirty. Kitchen was well stocked but a disorganized mess. Communal pool water was not clean and most neighbors completely disregarded curfew for pool use and loud music. Condo looks a few blocks away from the beach on a map but closest public beach access is actually a long, hot walk (20+ minute - you should budget for cart rental). When we arrived, one room had a broken overhead light and none of the 4 cable boxes/TVs were working correctly despite resetting and troubleshooting on our part. Management declined to help, other than dropping off batteries for the remote, so we did not have working TVs for the entire week. Finally, management made no attempt to offer recycling although there is a transfer depot a few blocks away from their office. Overall, we were disappointed with this rental and its management.
