Enjoy a luxurious stay at Village by the Beach I914K, a poolside retreat perfect for a weekend escape or a week-long vacation. This family-friendly property features a spacious living area with comfortable furnishings, a large 4K flat-screen TV, and a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area include stainless steel appliances and all necessary cooking supplies. The guest room is ideal for families, with a queen bed, twin bunk beds, and an arcade gaming unit, while the master bedroom offers a king-size bed and private bathroom. Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs.

Guests will love the prime location just off the beach and the spectacular heated pool right outside as well as a second heated pool also available in the complex. Make this your perfect retreat on the Texas Gulf Coast.

CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.

Perfect family vacation!

This was our first family vacation after adopting our grandchildren. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay! Very clean and family friendly. Easy walk to the beach even with twin 4 year olds! They loved the bunk beds too. We will be making this an annual trip for sure!!

Love this condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this condo. It is always very clean and is perfect for my family. There is a pool right in front that my granddaughters love and it is about a block from the beach. We had a few questions while we were there and got answers back in a timely manner. Everyone is very friendly at the rental office. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place with awesome pool

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. It was big and faced the large pool. Only issue was the toilets are very low flow and had a hard time just flushing water at times. Other than that, would rent again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My vacation rental experience was fantastic! The big pool was the star of the show, I have 4 kids so it was super fun. The pool was fed cool water, clean, safe and conveniently right in front of our rental.The rental was perfect for our family of 6. We had everything we needed for the kitchen (I knew to bring my own seasonings). All the beds were comfy, A/C stayed cool and we had plenty of towels and extra linens. I had few questions and the office answered me promptly and took care of me. The wifi was the only hiccup, but that’s Soectrum and an island full of vacitoners. We would just go in to town in Corpus and get wifi or better service; it was kind of nice not having to be on devices or answer emails so it all worked out ;) We will def rent again. Thank you!

What more could have gone wrong?

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our time spent with the family at the beach staying and have always stayed at Village By the Beach. This year was fraught with mishaps and was more worrisome and frustrating than relaxing. The beds were not comfortable, we requested additional blankets for the kids to lounge with and were refused, so had to buy our own at Wal-Mart, the internet was on and off at random, and the refrigerator went out during the middle of our stay causing us to have to throw out most of the refrigerator full of food! We were provided a tiny mini fridge that held a very small portion of what was salvageable, with the rest being placed on ice in borrowed ice chests. Prior to the fridge going out, we called about the ice maker not working. A repairman was sent out but after he left the freezer smelled like melting plastic. We just gave up, turned it off and bought ice for the duration of the stay. for what we spent, we did not get our monies worth this time around. We'll look around before we book for next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental space was great for our family. Very close to the beach. We didn't utilize the pools much because it was very crowded. Also we showed up to having around 50 gnats in the rental, mainly in the kitchen. They were more of an annoyance than anything. Management had someone come by, but they told us they couldn't spray anything to get rid of them, and there were plenty of gnats left after.

Excellent location, very clean

Overall a great stay, clean, well kept and well stocked. Conveniently located close to the beach with a very large community pool. My only complaint is that the master bedroom is at least 2-3 degrees hotter than the rest of the townhome all the time and makes sleeping quite difficult for anyone who wants to be somewhat cooler while sleeping. This continued throughout our stay even when the door was open all day/night. Should be looked investigated and is the first time I've had this issue in this complex (stayed a few other units prior visits). Thus the downgrade to 4 stars. Everything else was fine.

Not As Great As Past Years

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Village By The Beach for 8 years. We have always had a completely perfect experience. This year was definitely not perfect. A few things put a damper on our time in Corpus Christi. 1. We were not allowed to check in until 6:20 pm, more than 2 hours after the promised time. That may not seem like a big deal to some but with 3 young children, it totally messed up the rhythm of our first day. It delayed our grocery trip. It delayed having a place to unload our stuff and use the restroom after a 7hr drive. We couldn't even sneak into the pool without our keys. It basically took away the first afternoon of our trip. We were told that cleaning crews were running behind due to high capacity. I call BS on that. There are only so many units. In the summer, on peak days, it should be ASSUMED that they will be high turnover and there should be staff on hand to manage it. And don't tell me that staff was low because of covid aftermath because we traveled last summer in the peak of covid and were allowed to check in on time. In the 8 years we have been visiting this property, we have NEVER been asked to check in late. In fact, most years we have been given EARLY check-in. This is mismanagement and started our vacation off on the wrong foot.2. When we were allowed to check-in, one of the bunk beds was completely stripped without any linens on it. The clean linens were there, just laying on the bed. So, I got the fun experience of climbing up to the top bunk to make a bed within minutes of checking in. Lovely. I understand that maybe they were doing that to save time because cleaning crews were so behind, but it would have taken a really quick check on our reservations to see we had 3 children and would need all three beds made. Another missed opportunity.3. The wifi didn't work beyond day 1. Not at all. Not having wifi for devices during downtime was annoying. Also, our kitchen sink wasn't functional the last 2 days.

What a great property! The amount of room we had in the townhome was excellent. Having the pool in front of our unit was very convenient but the real highlight was being in walking distance to the beach/seawall. Such a beautiful area and overall great experience. My children and I didn't want to leave. We will return!

I couldn't have been happier with this rental. Was absolutely perfect for my family!

Very satisfied with this property, the cleanliness, location, and the accessibility to the pool. I was so happy to be able to sit on the patio and watch the kids play and keep the baby out of the elements. Clean, comfortable, and loved having a full size washer and dryer. I would give this place 10 stars ! I also loved the decor, wasn't old outdated ocean decor that I usually see. Extra touches with the box fan, baby bassinet, and puzzles. Pool area was very neat and clean, beach entry, separate kiddie pool for the Littles. Really hoping to return to this condo in the fall. Thank you!
