Aloha! Welcome to another Exclusive member of the Platinum Maui Vacation Ohana! All villas in this program are given Hawaiian names. This Kapalua Bay Villa has a unique hybrid name mixed with Hawaiian and Spanish, Hale Un Lugar Celestial, which translates to English 'Home in a Heavenly Place'.
This villa, a ground level entry, two story end unit and was launched on the market in December 2015 after many upgrades to the interior. There is no one above you in this villa, your master is upstairs and living area below.

We include extras like:

This villa is located in building 25 on the lower Ocean Front row of the Kapalua Bay Villa complex. It has undergone many interior upgrades overseen by Pro One Inc known for their custom, 'Platinum' level designs.

Hale Un Lugar Celestial is a 1 bedroom villa has approximately 1,118 square feet of living space including the 125 sq ft added when one of the balconies in the master bedroom was enclosed to the interior. The outside patio area or lanai, is an additional 379 sq ft. This is an End Unit with the entrance on the ground floor with new bamboo cabinets and custom granite counter-tops in the remodeled kitchen. The downstairs powder bath has an expanded tile shower big enough for extra guests or extended family. There is an expansive living and dining space with eclectic but quality island style decor infused with the modern amenities like the new 60" LED TV and Blu-ray DVD. The master bedroom and bathroom are upstairs on the second floor with no other units above and only one shared dense concrete wall on one side. This floor-plan allows the guest to wake up in the morning and enjoy a gorgeous ocean view from the comfort of your cozy custom hand carved king sized bed. The only thing between you and the ocean is the ocean front pool, one of 3 pools in this complex. All pools have 'Weber' gas bar-b-q grills and kitchenettes for your use. Your access to this locked and gated amenity is VERY convenient! There is also a wonderful ocean front coastal trail that parallels the shoreline just beyond the grounds.

Great location for golf and exploring

We found this unit comfortable and well outfitted for our needs. Enjoyed the views over the water and walking the trail.along the water's edge. Spectacular. Easy access to good restaurants too!

Excellent location

Great location, and waking up to view of ocean from bed was a delight! Moments to coastal walking path and another few minutes in either direction to sandy beaches. Property was very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Excellent stay in Kapalua!

The location and views are fantastic! The condo has everything you need to enjoy your stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, and boogie boards. Dave is extremely responsive, and took care of everything we needed!

Perfect spot for a quiet west shore getaway

My family and I had an unforgettable time in this place. The location relative to the pool, cliffs, beaches was absolutely perfect. Having the Montage next door was also a bonus for dining out and wandering the property. The community is extremely quiet and peaceful, and the grounds are gorgeous. I would highly recommend this complex and unit to any family of four.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location. The Kapalua Coastal Trail was steps away from the condo and very easy to navigate. The condo was gorgeous and had everything we needed. We enjoyed Taverna & the Sea House restaurants and close proximity to Lahaina. Highly recommend !

Beautiful property

The property is excellent. Beautifully remodeled and great location-close to pool and trail in the complex, and close to some of the best beaches for swimming and snorkeling. This has got to be one of the best units available in the Bay Villas.

Great location, comfortable and attractive condo

Just as described: ocean views, nice pool right out front, updated decor, good space for a couple. We used the barbeque grills at the pool twice, and it was easy. Comfortable bed, roomy master bath. Loved having the Coastal Trail so close for walking. Kapalua is an upscale area with a beautiful beach. Easy to walk to the Montage or Ritz Carlton for their restaurants.

Our Perfect Stay

My wife and I have stayed in many condos up and down the West side of Maui. Without a doubt this is the best we have rented thru VRBO. While it may not be the best for a family with children, as a couple it was perfect. The pictures on VRBO are very accurate as to what you will have. The area is quiet and and pools are great. The kitchen has a of the necessary items for meal preparation. Communications with the property manager, Dave, was great. I cannot comment on other condos at the Bay Villas, but this one will be our go to stay location when we return to paradise. We will be back!

10 year anniversary

We stayed here 10 years ago for our wedding and we knew we'd come back to Maui for our anniversary. This time we brought our 2 kids and I was so excited to find the same exact villa we stayed in before. We stayed in a hotel our first 2 nights, and realized that you can't beat the privacy of this unit. Having no upstairs or downstairs neighbors is essential when you have kids that are excited to be in Maui. The beach was a short walk and the pool is just steps away. I could not have been happier that we got lucky with this location 10 years ago and that we were able to find it again.

Nestled in a serene corner of Maui, our stay at this property offered more than just luxury—it was an escape into a tropical haven. The quiet, semi-private beach provided a tranquil retreat, and the ocean view showcased jumping, playing whales, adding a magical touch to each day. A stroll to the sacred labyrinth by Dragon’s Teeth added a spiritual and cultural dimension, making our experience not only luxurious but also culturally enriching. There are excellent dining options within walking distance or a short drive away. Located on the west side of Maui, it's worth noting that you may need to add an extra hour for travel to major attraction tours. Nevertheless, this property is a true gem for those seeking a harmonious blend of natural beauty and upscale comfort.

Excellent Location on Kapalua Coastal Trail

We’ve stayed at the Kapalua Ridge Villas several times and had good experiences but wanted to try Kapalua Bay Villas this time around and glad we did. This condo was steps away from the stunning Kapalua Coastal Trail which we walked several times a day to get to the beach, Merriman’s, Pickleball courts, the Ritz, golf, or the Honolua Store. It’s also right at the small pool and grills that overlook the ocean. The condo was well appointed, nicely updated, and had a great AC. Although one bedroom, the downstairs does provide privacy if you have another guest sleeping on the pull out sofa, complete with a small, but full second bathroom also downstairs. Professional and friendly manager that promptly answered questions. The Kapalua Bay/Kapalua Ridge Villas are an absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained complex. Would definitely stay here again.

Great condo and location

Dave was great to work with and everything went smooth. This condo was a few minutes drive or shuttle from three great beaches or a 10-15 minute walk. There is a beach just a few minutes walk but only safe at high tide. Great trail along the coast right outside the condo and bbqs at the pool. Our only recommendations for the condo itself are to replace the washer and dryer and maybe stock with plastic cups since glass is not allowed in the pool area. We were there 11 days and needed the washer and dryer to work properly - they were on the fritz and were only told once we showed up. I would only recommend for two people or three people max as the pull out couch was not comfortable and creaks when you move so our daughter just slept on the couch itself, which worked out fine. Overall we had a really good time and would rate location and amenities a 5 and condo a strong 4 because of the washer and dryer.

Kapalua 2022

Very well equipped - 3 sizes of coolers for beach/road trip, beach chairs, boogie boards, fins, beach umbrella, beach/pool towels, great near new gas grills (at pool right in front of condo), kitchen bowls, pots&pans, drip coffee maker, patio furniture, free shuttle around Kapalua area incl Kapalua and Napoli beaches, easy and very handy parking at condo, very quiet. Amazing landscaping, great access to boardwalk to Montage Hotel-Fleming Beach. We hated to leave after 11 nights (Nov /Dec 2022)

Gorgeous Property! Amazing Location- had everything we could have wanted!

We LOVED this property. It was filled with every amenity we needed, the washer and dryer are a HUGE plus! The neighborhood was super quiet and lovely! The area is not super kid friendly, which was perfect for us, but the Ritz property is a close walk and there were kids everywhere. The property manager is very professional and responsive. We would absolutely stay there again!

Paradise on earth

This has been the most comforting and blissful of a Maui vacation ever for us. The condo is clean and comfortable with all the amenities and fun and relaxing things to do. It was hard to leave the lanai sometimes.

bridal suite of my dreams!

This condo was everything I'd hoped for and more! I rented it for our wedding and it had everything we needed. The check in process was super easy and communicating with the owner was a breeze. The property itself is exactly how it is pictured in the ad, if not better! It was immaculately clean, updated, and had all the amenities we needed. It was a really nice space for my bridal party to get ready on the morning of my wedding and everyone loved the condo. The pool was really convenient, just steps away from the lanai. The air conditioning was really great, which was so nice since we did hair & makeup at the house---no makeup melting off the face! We were so sad to leave the condo and Kapalua---we loved the community and the home that we had for our wedding. Mahalo to Dave and his amazing Maui home!
