Comfortable home with ocean views from every room in the house. Oceanfront patio, deck and balcony to relax and enjoy the view. Easy access to nearby beaches. High speed internet for the perfect work from home get away.

Modern kitchen with open floor plan. Kitchen comes with a gourmet stove, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, a spice rack and everything you'll need to make a special meal. Spacious living room with 55" flat screen TV, cable, blue ray player and wifi included. Large master bedroom with king bed and a private oceanfront balcony. Second bedroom has a queen size bed with ocean views. Comes with 2 queen sized air beds a large sectional couch, twin fold out,
and a futon in the master,
that opens up to sleep 8, thatā€™s with some younger ones of course, otherwise itā€™s to many adults!
Outdoor patio with gas grill and seating areas to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. A great location to walk or ride your bike and enjoy the ocean or hike the redwoods. Unlike some other rentals in the area our home is oceanfront, not across the street.

Crescent City is a great location to enjoy the Northern California and Oregon Coast. It's small enough to escape the crowds and traffic but big enough to find all of the amenities you'll need including groceries, restaurants and a large drug store. Only a short walk to a large City park with great views of the local lighthouse.

Explore the many nearby beaches or take a hike in the redwoods. Jedadiah Smith State Park is very close and has beautiful redwood groves along the pristine Smith River. Crescent City is about 15 miles south of the Oregon border so it's close to many attractions from casinos, to river rafting, to miles of hiking trails and unspoiled beaches.

No pictures stretching anything here, it is even better than the pictures. House was clean and furniture very comfortable to relax in, beds good and view was fantastic. We didn't cook so can't comment on that but looked like good for it. Didn't need to contact Leslie the host, all instructions were well and timely communicated, thank you.

The house is exactly as described and pictured. Its like a ranch house (main floor with kitchen, living room, full bath, washroom, and bedroom) with a large bedroom/bathroom/work space as the whole second floor. Lots of room. We used it as a home base for hiking in Redwood. The deck has a small picnic table for two people to enjoy a snack and drink -- it was our favorite spot to enjoy the ocean. You really can't beat the view! Check in and out was very easy. There is no direct beach access from the house (which I liked) but a short walk brings you to the beach below the house. Looking up the tide schedule will help you follow the changing shorline and enjoy the rocky view even more.

We had an absolutely wonderful time, Aug 12 - 15, 2025. It's a beautiful beachfront home that is clean, spacious, well-equipped, and welcoming. There is a large master bedroom upstairs and a smaller one downstairs. We were a party of 4, so that was perfect. There is additional sleeping space with air mattresses and perhaps a pull-out couch, which we didn't use. Far better than staying at any of the few hotels in town. It was a great base to visit any of the Redwood parks. Attached is a view from the balcony one evening. The owners placed a log book in the home for visitors to note their reactions and they were uniformly positive and glowing. Thank you!

Winning Views

This is a big, clean beautiful home with unbelievable views. Worth every penny to spend a few nights or a summer here. This is right on the ocean and you can enjoy the sights and sounds. The home is very comfortable and has everything needed, games, deck chairs and table and a well supplied kitchen. Itā€™s obviously close to beaches and parks if you like outdoor activities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

Awesome Headquarters for a Redwoods Visit

This property has everything you want for a comfortable stay and just incredible views of the coast. The pictures in the listing don't do it justice! The main floor deck was a perfect spot for relaxing in sight and sound of the ocean. The property was also much more spacious than the listing suggested. There was plenty of room for us to spread out when we wanted to. The property's kitchen was very well equipped.The location was ideal. On the ocean, just on the edge of Crescent City which has a lot of popular restaurants, and within short driving distance of the various Redwood parks.We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Amazing sea view in a well stocked house

We had a great stay while visiting Redwoods National Park and the area. The house had anazing ocean views and was well stocked for a family stay. We loved our time there and would highly recommend it to others.

A Hidden Gem!

We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful this house was. The location was great and the views were amazing! We spent the days hiking the Redwoods and the evenings relaxing on the deck, barbecuing, watching the wildlife and the amazing sunsets. This was a perfect getaway to celebrate a 60th birthday!

Best view & amazing location

The view/location is definitely the highlight of this house! The back part of the house, the side facing the ocean, is mostly large windows and the views are incredible! We came to Crescent City to see the Redwoods but this house is a destination in itself. Every night we slept with the windows cracked so that we could hear the waves. It was a great soundtrack for sleeping.The redwoods and the smith river are super close. It's also close to grocery stores, restaurants, and anything else you may need. Pebble Beach was just a couple minutes away and my kids had a blast exploring it. We spent hours there on multiple days.Regarding the interior of the houseā€¦The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, though we wished there had been a twin sheet set for the pull out bed.The master bedroom was amazing. It had the best view. We even saw an osprey eating a fish on a tree branch right outside the window (twice!). It's the only room on the 2nd level, but just FYI, there is not a door to it. The stairs that go up to the bedroom turn, so there is still privacy. Just not with a door. I would definitely recommend staying here. You just can't beat the views and the location. We hope to come back to see the Redwoods again in a few years and we would stay here again. Already recommending this location to all of my friends and family.

Everything and More

We all walked in, looked out the wall of windows and said ā€œWowā€. We came to explore the redwood forest, but loved our experience at the house just as much! And while the view is outstanding, the house itself is equally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Possibly the best supplied kitchen of any rental Iā€™ve experienced. My teens loved walking down to check out the tide pools and we all enjoyed the provided games and books. Itā€™s well worth staying a day or two or five!

Breathtaking view!

Amazing ocean views. Older property with some nice upgrades. Property was clean, but there was a strong cat odor. We had to leave the slider and windows open to air out.

The fantastic views from almost every room in the house. A different sunset every night. A secluded patio to enjoy the views. Coming here offers instant relaxation.

Crescent City offers so many things to do that I love. It is a great home base for outdoor activities. So much beautiful coastline to explore, so many trails to hike and many other outdoor activities within a short distance. I don't feel like I'm spending an entire vacation driving. Crescent City is a small town but still has everything you need.
