The Space:

Snow crunches beneath your boots as you return from the mountain, cheeks flushed from the alpine air. Steam rises from your private hot tub while evergreens stand quiet under a winter sky. Inside, the gas fireplace glows and a 70" TV sets the scene for relaxed evenings after a day on the slopes.



Living spaces

Spread across three levels, this 2 bedroom plus den, 2 bath townhome comfortably sleeps 6. The open-concept living area invites you to settle into the couch beside the indoor fireplace, with forest views filtering through large windows. Heating keeps the home warm through colder months, and portable fans are available. A dedicated workspace and Wifi make it easy to stay connected when needed.



Kitchen & dining

The full kitchen is equipped for home cooking, with stainless steel appliances and ample prep space. Gather around the dining table that seats eight for shared meals and conversation after a day outdoors. A BBQ grill and barbecue utensils are available for outdoor cooking when conditions allow.



Sleeping arrangements

Upstairs, the primary bedroom features a king bed, walk-in closet, TV with cable, and a private ensuite bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower. On the lower level, the secondary bedroom offers a queen bed, dresser, and TV with cable. The den provides a bunk bed ideal for children, with limited storage and no window. A shared bathroom on this level includes a glass-enclosed shower and heated flooring. Bathroom essentials are provided, along with bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, room-darkening shades, and clothing storage.



Outdoor living

Step onto the covered patio or balcony to take in the surrounding trees. After skiing, sink into the private hot tub or enjoy the crisp mountain air from the outdoor furniture. A private entrance and mudroom with boot warmer make winter transitions simple and comfortable.



Location & access

Set in Whistler’s Benchlands near Blackcomb, the townhome offers ski-in/ski-out access - seasonal and snow dependent. You can ski directly to Blackcomb Mountain via a nearby trail and return home via exits off Lower Cruiser Run when snow levels permit. It is also a short walk to Merlin’s ski run and close to the free Village shuttle bus (Route 5). Lake access is available via a nearby path or dock.



Convenience

Enjoy free washer and dryer in unit, a safe, smart lock self check-in, luggage dropoff allowed, and long term stays allowed. Free parking garage on premises is available for one vehicle. An EV charger is available in the underground garage for an additional fee via app.



Disclaimer: Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. One designated parking space is provided in the underground parkade. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Mountain Star is perched at the top of Whistler’s Benchlands, offering a peaceful alpine setting with direct access to forest trails and ski slopes. Surrounded by nature and tucked away from village noise, it’s ideal for guests seeking a quiet retreat with stunning mountain views. The free village shuttle makes it easy to reach Whistler’s shops, restaurants, and nightlife in minutes, while the location provides a true mountain escape.



Getting Around:

• 2-minute walk to Merlin’s ski run

• 10-minute walk to Upper Village

• 20-minute walk to the Village Stroll

• 30-minute walk  or 5-minute drive to Fresh Street grocery store

• 20-minute walk to Chateau Fairmont Golf Course

• 25-minute walk or 15-minute cycle to Lost Lake

• Free shuttle to Village: Exit complex, the bus stop will be in the cul de sac going downhill



Other Things to Note:

• Stairs. There are steps from the garage to the street level and steps from the street level to the home's entrance with no elevator.

• Parking restrictions. The Mountain Star complex has an underground parkade with a height restriction of 6'10". Please note that parking of oversized and overweight vehicles in the parkade is restrictive and there are no above-ground stalls. If you want to park an oversized vehicle, please make alternative arrangements by referencing the following Free/Paid parking map: Whistler Parking Map

• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms

• There is no window in the den.

• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am

• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs. The Mountain Star complex and grounds are 100% smoke-free

• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home

Our concierge team is available 7 days a week to assist with anything from ski rentals to dinner reservations. While you’ll enjoy complete privacy during your stay, we’re only a phone call or email away should you need assistance.

Home away from home

Another awesome stay at Mountain Star 1. This clean and well equipped unit is an ideal home base for adventures in Whistler with easy access to the trails and hills, a free shuttle to the village, and every amenity you could possibly want including a well equipped kitchen, barbecue, and private hot tub.

Peace and Beauty on Blackcomb

Spacious, well-kept, and convenient - highly recommend. The unit is fully stocked with kitchenware, towels, and plush bathrobes. On the main level there are windows on three sides that give amazing views. Private hot tub provides rest and relaxation iwith a soothing forest view. I am usually wary of restrictive cancellation policies but gave Whistler Platinum a try this time and found their service to be great. Pro-tip: unlike a hotel, you need to bring your own coffee (grounds or nespresso pods) and body lotion.

Great location and setup. Clean and well equipped. Perfect for two couples. Walk on and off mountain is quick and easy. Free shuttle to village at base of driveway. As others have noted, this is really a 2 bedroom. The third room with bunk beds is small, windowless, without storage and a bit claustrophobic. We used it to store bags. Suitable for small children, at best and only to sleep in.

House was clean and in great repair. Kitchen was well stocked and even had little things like sandwich bags and foil. As advertised it was 200 meter walk to the slopes and a quick ski to the gondola. The property management team made sure check in went well and checked on us mid stay.

Great location but room with bunkbed is too small and not ventilated. Mold found on mattress

Beautiful property and location. We had 4 adults for mountain biking trip and immediately found the bedroom with bunk beds uninhabitable. It was extremely small, hot, and unventilated. Both adults had to sleep on the couch upstairs for the entire trip. When we tried to remove the mattresses to use in another room we found mold underneath on the slats. Also prior to checkin, the property manager asked when we would be arriving so that the unit could be made ready earlier if we needed it to be. I responded that we would like it earlier if possible and never received a response. Otherwise, the location and property are beautiful and well maintained but the 3rd bedroom which appears to be a converted closet was misleading.

Great place overall but the room with the bunk beds is incredibly small and not well ventilated. Mold found in room.

We had to take the mattresses out of the bunkbed room and place them in other rooms because the room was incredibly hot with no ventilation. There appeared to be mold on the slats of the bunk bed and pee stains on the bunk bed mattresses. This room was also incredibly small, like a previous closet maybe converted to a bedroom. Definitely not fit for 2 adults. Otherwise, great place to stay with fantastic location.

We enjoyed our stay! Listing description and photos are accurate. Short walk to ski out and in, very close to free resort shuttle. Lovely large common area and primary bedroom, smaller second bedroom and tiny bunk room. Three levels so lots of stairs!

Great Skiing Accommodation

We just finished our stay here which was absolutely great, the team at Whistler Platinum were excellent helping with all our needs, the location is ideal, closest to the bus stop and also to ski out onto Blackcomb mountain. It’s nice and quiet here so you can relax after a days skiing and then. Catch the bus into Whistler for an evening or too.

Fantastic ski week

This is a great place to stay

The unit was very comfortable and spacious for two couples. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes so we were able to enjoy nice meals in the unit. The heated bathroom floors were also very nice. The beds were very comfortable, the unit was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub and grill worked great. Overall, we were all very pleased with our stay. Everything in the unit was clean, and well cared for. Also the bus stop is very nearby. The main kitchen and living area is upstairs from the entry door so consider this if you have trouble navigating stairs.

Great stay, beautiful location

Great condo for our family of four. Loved the heated floor tiles, even in the summer. Easy walk to/from Blackcomb Village or just hop on the free shuttle. Great hot tub! Check in was super easy. Wonderful communication from rental company. Would love to stay here again.

Great space on Blackcomb

Large, very bright, comfortable space with pretty much everything you need for a long stay. Location is at the \'top\' of the Blackcomb bench, at the end of the bus route, so if you don\'t want to drive, the bus is very convenient (ok, they were on strike most of the winter, but that\'s not usually the case).
