The place was appropriate for what we needed, and the location was very convenient. It was an easy walk to the lake, restaurants, and shops. My main concern was that the listing was not as transparent as it could have been. While the description mentions that parking is not included, parking is still listed as an amenity, which is confusing. That information should be updated or removed. Similarly, the listing still states that the monthly parking pass costs 45, the city increases it to 75 starting a week before the Cherry Festival. The photos could also better represent the unit. The bedroom photo is not actually of the bedroom, and including a photo of the staircase would have been helpful. The unit is upstairs, and one of my children has a physical limitation, so knowing that in advance would have influenced our decision. There were also a few maintenance and usability issues. The kitchen light was not working, one of the bedroom blinds was very difficult to operate, the bathtub drained very slowly, and the kitchen had limited pots and pans for anyone planning to cook rather than eat out. Counter space was also limited, in part because there were two coffee machines taking up much of the available workspace.Overall, the unit met our basic needs and the location was a definite advantage. With a few updates to the listing and attention to the maintenance items, the experience would have been significantly better.
