Pet Friendly Elevated Cottage-1 Block 2 Beach-Pool

Emerald Sol is a newly updated vacation rental cottage in Destin, FL, located just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico, so you can stroll down and enjoy the beach, lounge in the sugar white sand, or catch a breathtaking sunset. Emerald Sea can be rented by itself or with the home behind it, Emerald Sea, for a two-family or group vacation.


***Emerald Sol and Emerald Sea now offer a brand new private pool shared between both homes! The pool can be heated for an additional fee.***


This updated pet-friendly vacation rental home has been recently remodeled and is perfect for a beach vacation! The master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, and the second bedroom offers a twin over full bunk bed with a full trundle. The full bathroom has just recently been renovated as well. The living room also contains a queen sleeper sofa. French doors lead to a private patio, where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning and delight in the fresh air rolling in from the Gulf, which is only a short stroll away. This vacation rental home can easily accommodate up to 9 guests!


Emerald Sol and Emerald Sea both have the same layout, contain a washer and dryer in each home, and share a private pool between the two homes. This is the perfect situation for a two-family vacation or a beach getaway with a group of friends.


Beach access: Just across the street and a few minutes walk from the rental is a newly built beach access for your use! This beach access includes parking for vehicles, including golf cart parking and bike parking, with a large deck plaza leading down to the white sandy beach, an ADA accessible boardwalk/dune walkover, restroom facilities, and a picnic pavilion with dune walkover.

Nice location!

Location was nice. Easy walk to the beach. Pool was Amazon! Loved the share shed! The house was older and could use some repairs but was the perfect size for our family! Would recommend 100% for families!

The place was super cute and worked great for our family. We had 4 adults and 4 kids age range of 6years-6months. Plenty of space and we were close enough to walk daily to the beach.

Great vacation

This was an ideal location, with easy access to the beach with multiple attractions in the area. Easy walk to nearby market and restaurants along the beach. We really enjoyed having a pool at the property and that it was on a dead end street with minimal traffic. The house had everything we needed and more. This place helped make our vacation so enjoyable.

Easy walk

Nice property inside, could use some cleaning around outside of property. Quick response from property manager with questions. Construction at current beach access, so makes for a longer walk to access beach. Super comfy couch and king bed. Appreciated the sharing shed for beach items and left some for future guests as well.

The cottage was conveniently located a block from the beach, but away from traffic. It was a quick walk to the grocery store and yogurt shop. It was a great place for an early morning run. The cottage was amply supplied with linens and kitchen necessities. It was a great weekend get-away!

We were bummed that the beach access down Alamo street was under construction which made for a longer haul to the beach with two little ones. The shared pool was nice to have, but I am not sure I would rent a house again that provides a shared pool over a pool designated just for our house. Overall, I would recommend Emerald Sol!

Quaint Beach house

We loved the location of this property. We walked to pretty much everything. The house is cute, but needs a few updates here and there. If we had an issue, the property management team came out same day, that's awesome! The pool was prefect for our kids, there is a shallow wading area and then a deeper swimming side. The pool supply shed was very messy when we got there, I cleaned it up, and the pool guy who lives close by was very grateful! After that he made sure the pool was in pristine condition for us. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay. FYI, bring earplugs to sleep because there are 2 huge party houses on both sides of you.

Location was perfect, quick walk to the beach. Management company was very responsive with issues. House was old, not remodeled as advertised. Exterior - deck boards sticking up and loose. Fascia boards rotting and falling apart. Interior - cheap flooring not put in correctly, coming apart. Kitchen not up to date. Fresh paint and new furniture nice though.

Reviewer Comments: The location to services & the beach was great.The size of the unit was perfect.We think someone had a dog on the couch, every time I sat on it my face would itch and my eyes swell! The constructionconstruction next door kept us from sitting outside most days due to noise. Street was a constant parade of vehicles. Would have gone elsewhere had we known about the construction. And we have to tolerate for 4 more weeks!
