Big Bear offers more than 10 Hiking/Biking Trails from Beginners to Advanced all located within 10 miles from the Cabin. In addition, The Village is located 10 minutes away where you can find Shopping, The Movies, Restaurants, and much more...

Our Cabin was recently renovated with all of the top-of-the-line amenities: Stainless Steel Appliances, Flat Screen Smart TV'S, Blu-Ray Player. We had a wonder stay here! I really liked that there was lots of room and lots of places to hang our jackets, snow bibs and places to put our snow boots. The heater in the living room was great and did warm the bedrooms and dried our wet boots once we settled in. There was tons of snow when we got there and it was great that my boys could just head out to the backyard to play while we settled in. Definitely remember to bring your own coffee as I had forgotten mine and none was supplied. Also bring some blankets for just hanging around on the couch if you like to snuggle up as they didn’t have any extras besides what is on the beds.

My family and I had a wonderful time here, the Cabin was very welcoming, warm and cozy, super clean and perfect size, well equipped with kitchen utensils/pots/pans, the location was perfect.

Cozy cabin and excellent location

Lovely cabin, me and my family had an awesome time at big bear. The cabin was very close to many things. Excellent locaton, loved the decor, cozy cabin. Definitely going back. Thanks Sophia for making us feel like home.

Perfect setup for a vacay home.

We were staying in the area for a family reunion. Beds were comfy. The house was tastefully decorated; the kitchen was well equipped. Sophia was easy to communicate with. Thank you for a great stay!

Big Bear Getaway!

This cabinet felt cozy and homey. We all enjoyed it. Heaters kept us warm. Water pressure was wonderful! Location was a huge plus!! Near everything! Host was super responsive which was very helpful. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Great Time with Family

We were very happy with our stay at the cabin. The host was very responsive to my questions. The location was great because it was close to The Village, Snow Summit and other grocery stores for our needs. I would give this a 5 stars if the WiFi was stronger. Besides the WiFi everything was fantastic!

Extra charge to empty garbage!

This cabin is in a beautiful quiet location. However, we had to take our own trash to the dump or incur and extra charge. Several problems with this, there was not a trash bag in the house so had to go buy some. The dump was a good 5 miles from the house, plus we had to research to find it. We also had no washcloths or hand towels, so also had to go buy some. We had 4 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days and 6 people. Fortunately, we weren't home a lot. One member of our party found a black widow on the walll and spent a restless night on the couch. We also had trouble getting a response from the owner and did not have the code for the house until minutes before we were to check in.

Dear Future Bearadise Corner Guests, Note that this was our first review that was not 5 star in 2.5 years! Anyone who has visited Big Bear knows that they are big on trash removal and keeping it clean. All cleaning companies charge extra for trash bags left behind. If the guests did their part, they would have read the House Rules Document with the address to the Big Bear Trash Site. The cleaning crew usually leaves 2 extra trash bags and washcloths which are located in both restrooms. Lastly, pest control was just out to spray for insects.

Family getaway

Enjoyed our time in Big Bear. The property manager was quick to respond to our issues. The house needs some upgrades but was a good deal for what we paid.

The location was a plus very convenient near by shopping and activities. Nice and spacious. Some things in the cabin were not in best operating order one heater was not working and it was extremely cold . The furnace was dripping in the middle of the living room floor. There is no TV in the Master bedroom and the TV in bedroom 2 wasn't working.

Great spot

Overall a great spot. Plenty of bedding, good location, responsive owner, good kitchen supplies. The only issues we had were with the heat. Only way we could find to heat the place was with space heaters and the fireplace. The space heaters were a bit old and would buzz from overheating quite easily making it so we could not use them effectively. This would be easy to address. The only other issue was the freezer made a rumbling noise as if the compressor was going out. Also easy to fix. Overall it was an awesome stay and we would certainly come back assuming those issues will be addressed as it is a well maintained property over all.

First Snow of the Season
