CASA JOYERO IS A STAND ALONE PROPERTY AND IS NOT SHARED WITH VILLA ZAFIROS UNLESS RENTED TOGETHER BY THE SAME PARTY. NO ACCESS FROM EITHER PROPERTY TO THE OTHER UNLESS RENTED TOGETHER BY THE SAME PARTY.
Consisting of a 1 bedroom STUDIO and a 2 bedroom luxury CASITA, Casa Joyero can be rented as a 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom or the entire property as a 3 bedroom. With details such as private fountains on the casita patios, outdoor showers, outdoor dining with a table for 10, large outdoor but covered kitchen, full-bath ... you will love the wonderful craftsmanship of Casa Joyero. Enter the hand-forged wrought iron gates, which were designed by our award-winning architect. All iron windows and doors throughout the property were individually designed and created.

The STUDIO is self contained, complete with a small cooktop, gorgeous custom wood windows with opaque Mexican glass for privacy, air conditioning, private bath and shower, artwork and amazing hand-shaped concrete and glass countertops. New queen sized bed, and ceiling fan, custom lighting and other features. PERFECT for a couple!

The CASITAS: Just past the studio is an entry gate that leads you into the casitas of Casa Joyero. Once inside you'll see the massive mesquite dining table with seating for up to 10. Large open air dining and spacious kitchen is the perfect gathering place. Hand selected and crafted tile walls in the kitchen, lighting from select regions in Mexico gives this space an authentic feel not found anywhere else in Sayulita.

Stunning property

We rented both Casa Joyero and Villa Zafiros. We really enjoyed our stay, and the house is lovely! We were a group of 9 adults, staying the first week of June, which is the start of the rainy season. We didn't have any problems with the rain, however it was hot and extra humid. Having a pool was a huge help with that, we hopped in whenever the heat got to be too much! It was also really nice that the pool man came almost everyday. There is a lot of foliage around the pool and it was very nice to have someone come clean up every morning. There were a few issues with the air conditioners burning out due to the intermediate power outages in town that week. The house manager was quick to respond to the issues and did his best to take care of us. We were very happy we utilized the private chef at the house. Her name was Lulu and her food was fantastic! She cooked for us, served us and cleaned up! Worth every penny! Finally, the best part of the house is its location. You cannot beat the its proximity to EVERYTHING! And it is a short walk to the Playa de los Muertos--which was a really nice escape from the busier beach area. The only downside to being close to town would be the roosters--you can't avoid hearing them... just bring ear plugs ;) Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Beautiful Home

This place is incredibly beautiful and romantic. The outdoor showers are the greatest thing ever and the kitchen and amenities are top notch. You won't find nicer in the city and especially not that close to everything you would want.

Incredible Property - A Design Masterpiece

This was our second trip to Sayulita, and we once again stayed on an amazing Mike and Lola property. On our previous visit, we stayed in their neighboring home, Villa Zafiros. We loved Zafiros - but were excited to see this new addition. They have truly built an architectural delight, while maintaining the integrity of the beautiful natural surroundings. Each bedroom felt like an independent luxury hotel room, and the private gardens and fountains in the Casitas made it even more special and unique. Every area is masterfully decorated with a balance of modern touches and authentic local elements. The aesthetics alone will make you happy and relaxed. As with Villa Zafiros, the location is perfect for those wanting to spend time wandering the town or on the beach. Almost anywhere in town is just a short walk away, with excellent dining and drinking establishments literally steps from the house. The hosts have thought of literally everything to make this a very easy and comfortable journey and stay. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Sayulita and hope to return again soon!

FANTASTIC PROPERTY--PERFECT IN EVERY WAY

First off, the home is close to town which allowed us easy and frequent walks into town. There was no noise at night and the open air dining area was very pleasant. The architecture and art were stunning and offered great enjoyment. Everything worked as promised and Ramon was always available for questions or help if needed. This was my 8th trip to Sayulita and by far the best! This was an unexpected Oasis!! We will be back!

Casa Joyero is located adjacent to our Villa Zafiros home and is filled with cherished possessions. Therefore we restrict rental considerations to couples, adult parties and families with extremely well-behaved children. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed. We are light on our feet and can move at a moments notice therefore we don't keep a calendar. So the 'when' is really up to you. Reach out and let us know what you're thinking. We look forward to getting to know you.

NOTE: We prefer rental periods of at least 4 days. Rental terms longer than 7 days may have discounts applied. Rentals typically start on a Saturday, but will try to work with your dates. Signed Casa Joyero rules and other documents required before arrival. Write with other questions and please check out our reviews! We love families and respectful groups and will try to accommodate your every need if possible.

We purchased the land that was to become Casa Joyero in 2015 from the wonderful Mexican family that live directly below our Villa Zafiros home, Jose and Elisa. We had purchased the Villa Z property in 2013 and lived on-site for five months while Villa Zafiros was painstakingly rebuilt. But VZ wasn’t our first project. We’ve designed and built award winning properties in other locations. We understand style and how to work with the environment we find ourselves in. Utilizing local, high quality craftsmen and choosing an architect that “gets it', the results are noticed and appreciated. Visitors from all over the world have spent time in our homes.
With the addition of Casa Joyero, we now have enough room for our extended family, and your friends and family. WIth Casa Joyero you can rent a private 1 bedroom studio, the private two bedroom casita, or the entire property as a 3 bedroom. Need more room? We can offer any configuration up to 6 bedrooms, allowing you to rent the entire compound of Villa Zafiros and Casa Joyero at the same time!!!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Casa Joyero's (and Villa Zafiros) location is one of its many assets, less than a block to the start of Sayulita's mix of bohemian and upscale shops and incredible dining choices. Two more blocks to the plaza or Sayulita Beach. This proximity to the village is perfect compared to houses far north or up the climb to Gringo Hill. Come and go to and from the village or beach as often as you want. While golf-cart parking is available at both homes, if you prefer, it is not necessary for most everyone. Walkability is a huge advantage when staying at Casa Joyero or Villa Zafiros.
