Ruby's Lakehouse is a secret treasure, on a perfectly located, quiet street in the fabulous Beachwalk community. Ruby’s is the ultimate gathering place for a large family or group of friends that wants a beach get-away with modern luxury in a quaint, warm, inviting home. This house is a very popular rental in the area, due to the size and location of the home. This home is OWNER-MANAGED, and there are NO EXTRA RESORT or MANAGER FEES added on, as you will find with many other houses in the area. Plus, during the peak summer weeks, we provide A GOLF CART FREE OF CHARGE! We personally tend to the house on a weekly basis, and make sure it is immaculately clean and stocked for you. Please note: We do not allow PROM parties. The age requirement is 25, and proof of age may be required. This is also a perfect place to spend THE HOLIDAYS! Special rates may apply during the winter and holiday season.
Ruby’s is surprisingly large, providing 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths in the main house. Plus, we have a coach house that sleeps 5, that can be added for an extra fee if you are interested. The main house sleeps 14+ people with 1 king bedroom, 3 queen bedrooms and a bunk room that sleeps 7. We have bonus sleeping spots, like 2 sleeper sofas and mattresses in the giant walk-in closets. We have a full-sized crib and high chair for infants. You won’t believe the great room at the back of the house, boasting a full kitchen, dining and living room space. Enjoy modern amenities and a fully-loaded kitchen, laundry room, 5 flat screen smart TVs(no cable tv, but there is access to netflix, disney, youtube tv, amazon), free WIFI, and more. The unfinished basement provides an extra play room and a lounging area for the kids, with a large tv and a WII gaming system. Perfectly located, Ruby’s is only 1 block from the pool and the park, and a leisurely 5 minute walk to Lake Michigan on the pristine Indiana Dunes (national lakeshore) which is a top rated beach where you can see the Sears/Willis Tower on a clear day.

Want to bring a dog? While we love dogs, we are very particular about allowing them. Due to very quick turnarounds between rentals, and with respect of potential allergies of future guests, we ask that only non-shedding, mature, and well behaved dogs stay at Ruby's. All dogs must be approved by owner prior to booking. Please submit an inquiry if you are interested in bringing your dog.

The coach house above the garage is a separate rental, and may be rented to another party (2-5 people) during your stay. It is completely separated from the main house, and has a small common area of the back deck where the entrance to the coach house is located. If you are interested in renting the coach house too, please send a message with your inquiry. The back deck area is reserved for the renters of the main house, and anyone staying in the coach house is informed of this. They simply use the back deck for access to the coach house entrance. 1 parking space is allocated to the guest house as well. The property fits 6-7 cars, so this is normally not a problem. Extra parking is available 3 doors down when needed.

Why Ruby's and not a different house in Beachwalk?
Location. We are in the front part of Beachwalk where there is ample parking and no congestion, very close to the pool and beach.
Fees. We include everything in our rate. Other homes charge resort fees and manager fees.
The Golf Cart. We include Ruby's golf cart with your rental. Other homes charge up to $500/week.
Owner-managed. We give personal attention to you and respond very quickly with all questions and issues that arise.

Bonus! Coach house is for rent: Ruby’s has a coach house that may also be available to rent (depending on availability). Directly attached to the back deck of Ruby’s, above the garage, check out THE DOG HOUSE. It’s the perfect small house for 2-5 people to enjoy, like the grandparents, or a young couple with small children. Want a little privacy from the large group or family? This awesome little coach house has a full kitchen, laundry, smart tv and WIFI, and sleeps up to 5 people, with a King bed, twin futon and a sleeper sofa. Contact owner directly to rent the coach house. Fees will be provided at that time.
