Imagine yourself in one of the most peaceful, laidback towns in the Riviera Maya. Picture quiet beaches, perfect little beach restaurants, great snorkeling, and one of the best spots to meet a sea turtle or two. Picture a turquoise sea and gentle lagoons, swaying palm trees, soft white sand. Now picture yourself in your very own villa, ideal for sharing with family or friends. Can you see it? It is real and it can be reserved for you today: Villa Tao A-3 in the lovely village of Akumal, ideally located between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, and situated a mere 50 meters from the beach.

This lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa features the clean, modern design of Actual Studios, as well as marble flooring throughout. The open living area provides maximum flow between the cozy living room and dining room, and the well-equipped kitchen. The living room features a leather sofa and two chairs, a 50” TV, SKY satellite, and WiFi connectivity. The fully-equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and the granite counters offer plenty of workspace along with a breakfast bar adjacent to the dining room. Oversized sliding doors provide plenty of light as well as access to the garden terrace. A washer and dryer is provided, along with beach amenities such as towels and an umbrella.

The main floor bedroom features a queen-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. An additional upstairs queen-sized room has an en-suite bath and a small balcony which overlooks the garden. The upstairs master bedroom features a king-sized bed, 42” LCD television and small balcony as well as en-suite bath. All of the bathrooms feature marble showers, hair dryers and all basic toiletries.

The most outstanding features of the villa are its two beautiful roof terraces: one, an ocean-view space with a comfortable sofa, chairs and a maneuverable aluminum roof which can be open for sun or closed for shade. The other overlooks the garden area and includes two upholstered chairs with footstools and a table for two.

Our guests can enjoy the luxuries of the Jungle Fish beach club which is conveniently located only a few steps from your front door. The club has a pool (please inquire about pool hours as they may change seasonally), swim up bar, umbrellas, lounge chairs, restaurant and a roof terrace with additional seating and a magnificent ocean view. We suggest arriving early to reserve chairs and umbrellas as it is first come first serve. The facility use is free with food and beverage consumption. It is at the discretion of the beach club to any policy change or fees, as we have no direct affiliation.

And that's not all, you have access to the TAO Wellness Center that offers a gymnasium, exercise lap pools, yoga classes, etc. and Bahia Principe Resort facilities! Applicable fees do apply at both locations please inquire!

Akumal is a true paradise with plenty of retreat-like quiet when you need it and lots of activity when you crave it. Great restaurants, turtle watching, and superb snorkeling are only steps away. The location is perfect for day-trips into Tulum and Playa del Carmen; you are also very close to crystal clear cenotes, ancient Mayan ruins, quaint colonial towns and all that the fabulous Mayan Riviera has to offer.
