We liked the quiet location and the green belt behind the property. The kitchen had everything we needed and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Unfortunately, there was no central AC, just a unit above the front door which did not cool all the rooms sufficiently. The third bedroom upstairs was small and very hot. The bathrooms could use some updating. The unit had a washer and dryer but the dryer did not work properly. The community pool is very small. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

First trip to Hawaii

Very quiet neighborhood. House is clean :) Could use more standing fans and towels though otherwise it’s perfect. Very short drive to grocery store and restaurants. Favorite restaurants were B’s and Kalypso. Clam chowder soup at Kalyspso was out of this world.

Nice area close to where our daughter was getting married. nice beach nearby Anini beach. House could have been bit cleaner. Had trouble with water pressure. But over All had a great time.

Prime Location, Comfortable, and adorable utensils!

Staying at Kuʻu Lei Villa was fantastic! Everything was pristine, cute, and convenient. The golf course is right there and Foodland is just 3 minutes away. Itʻs the perfect place especially if you want to cook meals at home. The biggest problems were that the parking was too small for our Nissan Altima and the Washer/Dryer were sadly out of commission. They got the supplies to fix them the day before we left though so Iʻm sure whoever stays there next will be just fine! :)

Garden Island Great!

Spacious and very nicely furnished open concept made it easy to enjoy our stay w friends. Beautiful morning sunrises and afternoons by the pool didn't hurt either. Lots of gear for the beach was a bonus, especially the surf and boogie boards. Townhome was very clean and didn't have any issues w bugs which can be common in Hawaii. Three small issues to keep it real. The hot tub heater broke down and was out of action for two days but did get repaired reasonably quickly. The hand held shower mount in the upstairs bath wouldn't hold the shower head and the only thing that would have been nice in the kitchen was a coffee grinder. Nowhere is perfect but this place was pretty close. Property manager(Elite Pacific) deserves a shout out for being well organized, responsive and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely condo

Very nice property. Easily accommodated our party of 6. A few things need attention: blind missing in living room, closer on screen door is missing, screens on downstairs patio were extremely hard to open, dishwasher did not seem to work properly ( often washed dishes by hand). Property manager was very responsive and patient.

Heaven in hawaii

We absolutely loved our stay on Kauai! Hanalei is our favorite so we loved being so close to the bay! The home is beautiful and left nothing to be desired! Except maybe a dvd or Blu-ray player upstairs. One night was kinda warm in the upstairs room but we’ve never had air conditioning in any home we’ve stayed in. The management group was easy to work with and even left us some chocolate! Would definitely stay again.

BEAUTIFUL property! Would rent again!

Clean and very nice condo. 3 bedrooms and two of them are master bedrooms. Really lovely grounds with Mountain View’s and awesome pool/hot tub. Tons of beach equipment. We had such a relaxing stay would rent again. Property managers were hospitable and very polite and considerate. Overall great experience. Thank you!

Well-Located Condo in Princeville

This three bedroom three bathroom condo is generally well maintained. Upon arrival, we found it to be extremely clean with everything in order. The exception was the sliding screen doors to the balcony and one of the downstairs bedrooms. However, when I e-mailed Elite Properties to report the problem, they were very responsive and promptly offered to send someone over to repair them. The property is on a golf course and is conveniently located about a mile or so near a major supermarket (Foodland), a few miles away from Hanalei, beautiful beaches and zip lining. It is also about a mile away from the Princeville Resort. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, etc. However, be prepared to supply not only your own food, but also spices, cooking oil and other cooking essentials.There is a nice TV in the living room as well as in one or more of the bedrooms. We would suggest that they replace their living room sofa with a sleeper sofa. Although there were only six of us, we could have used the additional sleeping surface. Instead, we brought our own air mattress. There is also a relatively small pool area with a jacuzzi near the unit. Our last comment is that the builder should have provided a more expansive balcony for the property. It is nice to spend time on the balcony, but the small one at the unit is not conducive to more than 2-3 people being out there at the same time. Overall, we found the condo and Elite excellent, but a few minor tweaks, such as a sleeper sofa, would have been nice (nothing can be done about the size of the balcony at this point).

Very nice house and complex

Pros: House was very open and airy with plenty of room for everyone, looked exactly like the listing. Beach equipment including towels was provided which helped out a ton! The complex also had a pool and hot tub which was great. Cons: No A/C. It was extremely humid (and we are from a humid area) and hot. The ad tries to convince you that AC is not needed in this area bc of the “breeze” but that doesnt get rid of the jungle humiditiy. The towels all smelled like mildew so we had to wash them before use, and then wet things were impossible to air dry. They did provide large floor fans which helped, but it was such a shame to have such a beautiful place ruined with no AC. I would definitely recommend finding a unit that has AC, especially if you are from a dry climate and not used to humidity. Also, i wished there was a grill on the back porch. We had to walk to the pool area to grill which got annoying after the first night, especially when you have to wait in line. One grill for all these units to use, very silly.

OUTSTANDING!! A PERFECT EXPERIENCE.

We rented a property in Princeville, Kauai for our family to stay during our wedding and honeymoon in Kauai. Even though I'd seen the pictures, I was blown away at how nice it was - and what an amazing deal too. I was so proud to be able to offer a stay there to our adult children and my mother. It was impeccably clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated and well appointed with every amenity you could imagine. Even the glassware and kitchen items were first rate. There was comfortable room for us to just hang out together and enjoy ourselves, yet with three spacious bedrooms on two flooors, room for privacy as well. On top of that, the property manager went WAY out of her way to make our stay exceptional. She made herself available during non-business hours, replied immediately to texts and even helped me with my wedding!! You could not find a better agency or property anywhere. And amazingly it was far less money that it would be to stay in a hotel that wouldn't offer a kitchen, gathering area or room for everyone. It was so much easier to plan activities when we were all together! Kudos and mahalo! And hats off to Yen especially.

Beautiful Home with a wonderful location!

We went the first week in January with another couple and enjoyed every minute staying in this beautiful home. We could not ask for a better location in Kauai. This home is just one mile from the Saint Regis Hotel which has a wonderful beach and amazing sunsets. The house itself has everything that you would need for your stay in Kauai. It has upscale appliances in the kitchen, three beautiful decorated and large bedrooms plus three full bathrooms. The floor plan of the house is open and light. The complex well maintain and people are friendly.

Fabulous

Our family, which includes us and four adult children, stayed here over Christmas and New Years, it was fabulous. We rent homes through VRBO frequently. This is the best home we have rented to date. Three full bedrooms. Three full bathrooms. Lots of space for your group to be together, or get away from each other. Well equipped. This unit has everything you will need. We cook the majority of our breakfasts, and dinners in our unit and take a picnic lunch. This place has a cooler, don't buy one at Costco or Wal Mart. It has a crock pot, blender, toaster oven, and upscale appliances. Everything you need to cook and entertain, including food storage, mixing bowls, and utensils, most units don't come this well equipped. It is all tile throughout and was exceptionally clean when we arrived. We treat VRBO's like a family member has let us stay in their home, and this feels like a family member has let us stay in their home. Very quiet, the lanai looks out over one of the Makai tee boxes. The pool and hot tub are a very short walk from the unit, they are fair sized and clean with chairs, tables and umbrellas. There is a really nice Weber Grill at the pool with all the tools, and a light on a timer, where I cooked an amazing freshly caught fish for dinner. There is a new stunning smart TV that our kids were able to connect to Netflix and use their Google Chromecast for evening downtime. There is a small Bose wireless speaker that we connected to, and used all the time. The kitchen table is huge, we gathered there for cards, games, conversation and meals. The location is great, Kauai is a very small, quiet island. If it's not sunny on the north, it's only a short drive to the south. You can't complain about the weather on Kauai, the showers are short, and the shortest drive to a beach is only 2 minutes away, the longest drive to a beach is only one hour. We visited 9 beaches, went to the canyon, hiked the coast, kayaked up a river, and had a great time. There is no AC, we didn't need it! There are ceiling and standing fans throughout the unit, we slept great. The two largest bedrooms are on the lower floor and stay cool. Mahalo Nui Loa for allowing us to use your home and personal retreat. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, relaxing home

Beautiful home with fantastic amenities. The open design was great for everyone to spend time together while sitting outside enjoying the breeze, cooking, and watching tv. The kitchen and appliances were incredible! The shopping center about 5 min drive from the home became our favorite stop for food and ice cream! The neighborhood was quite (aside from all the roosters) and well kept! Due to the nature of Kauai we recommend having a rental car with this property.

Perfect get away place for family

We really enjoy the space, big high ceiling house, everything was just perfect for our family. The best part is location, 5 minutes from many groceries, awesome restaurants, and the beach. Next trip on Kaui we will definitely book this place again (but longer).

Amazing rental

If we could give this property ten stars we would. The interior and exterior are beautiful. The kitchen has every tool and appliance you could ever need. Same goes for the beach gear which really came in handy. The location is great, a few minutes from shops, grocery store, and restaurants and just 5 minutes to Hanalei Bay. The owners were so thoughtful, having local chocolates and cookies out for us when we arrived. A great place for couples and families.

Home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here earlier this month. It was our first time on Kauai and we are planning our next trip back already. The north shore is truly paradise, lush greenery, breathtaking mountains and so many beaches to enjoy. And being able to come back to a home with all the comforts each day was the cherry on top. The bedrooms are very large and spacious as well as the living room/dining room kitchen space. The washer and dryer were great to have as well as all the beach toys. I would definitely recommend this unit to friends and family, its a great location too!

Centrally located spot on the North Shore

We loved our time at Ku'u Lei Villa on the beautiful north shore of Kauai. The unit has a nice clean open feel to it, large kitchen and living room space perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is perfect if you are a golfer since the Makai clubhouse is so close and its a top 100 golf course. Also its just a short drive down to Hanalei bay which is a stunning, large beach with gorgeous mountain views. All the amenities you need and more are provided in the unit so you can relax and enjoy your vacation, the grocery store is very close and there are a variety of restaurants nearby for the night when you want to eat out.
