Forever in our hearts. I can hear my sister giving my nieces a bath upstairs. My son and brother in law playing video games in the living room. Perfect house for our family vacation. Each had their own private space and a great family room, kitchen and lanai for being together. Lots of amenities for beach and fun and close to everything. Felt like home.

Quiet country club golf location Princeville

Overall this is a great house near golf and walking distance to a few beaches. Walkable to a sunset view from the golf course out on a bluff overlooking the ocean and a view of Queen’s Bath from high above. We had 3 couples staying here for 4 nights. We cooked here quite a bit and we ventured out during the day on beach trips and really enjoyed having the snorkel equipment, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for our use. Only thing giving it a lesser rating was a couple of bugs seen in the kitchen. I let the owner know. I’m sure that is an ongoing issue because of the weather and environment on the island. Overall it was a great stay.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was gorgeous and had a lot of nice amenities! Fit 8 people comfortably. We loved using the grill to cook fish and did enjoy lots of the beach gear in the garage. I would recommend this house and neighborhood to any!

Great location and beautiful family house!

Big and beautiful house in a great neighborhood! We loved walking the path on the golf course and being near Hanalei. It was also very nice to have beach items and towels! Our only complaint is that the king size bed creaked very badly and there were a couple issues with the bedroom doors.

Amazing location for a family get away.

This place was amazing! Perfect location for my wife and I to get away wiyh our children and grandchildren to enjoy beatiful Kauia! Tons of space, beautiful neighborhood, and an amazing house complete with most evefything we needed for our trip! Have already shared information with friends wanting to do a similar family get away!

best part of the island

We had a great 21 day stay in this Princeville VRBO. This was our first time to this island. We were happy we chose the north side - very lush and many beautiful beaches with only a few people on them (in December with big waves). The house had everything we needed, and is located in a nice neighborhood. We appreciated the owner's many suggestions for things to do and see.

Wonderful location, beautiful home

Loved our stay! Scott was so thorough in prepping us for things to do nearby that made our trip easier. The chocolate farm he recommended was amazing. All the extra ocean toys was super helpful as there are so many beaches to chose from on the north shore.

Family getaway

We had a fantastic time at the property for our extended family gathering of 10 people. Property is exactly as advertised and in a beautiful neighborhood. Lots of beach gear to use, and we enjoyed the bikes supplied to explore the area as well.

Awesome!

We held a friends reunion in Kauai and stayed at the house which suited our needs very well. It's a great location, the place was clean and had lots amenities which we very much enjoyed. Would certainly stays there again. The communication with host was direct and very quick responses.

Amazing!

Our stay in Princeville was fantastic. The house is in a beautiful location- close to activities, beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. The house is STOCKED with all of the beach supplies a family could need, including chairs, towels, snorkeling equipment, sand toys, a cooler, and even a wagon to haul everything. The layout of the house was perfect for two families. We would absolutely recommend this property.

Celebrating a 21st birthday

Our whole family plus the 21 year old’s boyfriend came! We had a fantastic stay (with the exception of an Airgas truck driver coming over on us!) Even with the accident, we were able to make some great memories! I have to mention how wonderful Scott was during the entire stay. We would definitely love to come again!

Great House at a Great Location

Extremely Thankful for Scott letting us stay at this home. So many amenities. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Scott's communication was very quick and helpful. He even gave us a few tips that came in handy!

Good stay on the north w/ easy access to everything

We stayed on Poipu beach for the first part of our trip but wanted to explore the northern part of the island. Great stay at this Princeville house. Remember there isn’t A/C but was not an issue for us. We were out all day and slept with windows open at night. Must do up north: * Hanalei shopping and meals * Hanalei Bay sunset * Tunnels Beach

SO lovely!!!

Can’t say enough good things about Scott’s place! Our family of 8 stayed the 1st half of our trip at a local resort and it was decent enough, but when we arrived at this house… I immediately exclaimed out loud, “10 out of 5 stars!” Scott was very communicative and accommodating, even coordinating with the cleaning crew to let us check in a bit early. Great location right by Queen’s Bath (which was sadly closed due to conditions during our stay, but we knew that ahead of time) and such beautiful views of the mountains (and waterfalls!) right from lanais and even some of the bedrooms. The house has all the gear you need (even more than what’s shown in the photos!), kitchen supplies (including spices, coffee maker, and a brita filter), and Scott has a big binder full of recommendations for your stay. The house itself is spacious, has very effective AC units and ceiling fans, beautiful flooring and tasteful decor, comfy couches/seating, and we were especially enamored of the gorgeous staircase with banister made of tropical wood Also loved the mud room with high quality washer and dryer. We felt really comfortable and at home here and highly recommend Scott’s place! Hope to be back soon!Oh! And you should definitely walk over towards the golf course for sunset… photo of that and one of the lanai views attached.

Great house for family

My family stayed at this property in Princeville 7 days. We absolutely loved this fantastic house ! We had 10 adults and the house was specious and very comfortable for our whole family. There were lots of kitchen tools, dishes, towels and snorkel equipments even bikes. The location was perfect and convenient with very quiet neighbors. The owner Scott was super friendly and easy to communicate. All family members really enjoyed this house and area. Thank you for wonderful stay !!

This is a great place to share with some of your close mature friends with enough privacy to allow you the intimacy you desire. Kauai is unlike anywhere on the planet. You will find a peace, beauty and joy on this Garden Isle at the Heavenly Arch "Kapiolani" House.

In the North Shore of Kauai, things are quieter, greener, cooler and prettier. Many secluded and often deserted beaches to explore off short trails everywhere including world famous Ke'e' Beach and Hanalei Bay.

"Ho'omaha" (Rested) Scott, your contact and host for this tropical adventure in relaxation, rejuvenation and recreation is a retired Recreation Director. He has lived abroad 11 years visited over 40 countries and roughly speaks five languages (English, Swedish, Portuguese, Spanish and Danish.)

Please ask me how I can make this trip more enjoyable. There are many tips and secrets that most visitors are completely unaware of. I will be happy to share, if you promise not to give them away to just anyone.

Princeville is grand, manicured, lush and quiet situated on the ocean bluffs with jaw dropping mountain and ocean views. Great bike/walk paths are fun to explore with play grounds close by, tennis courts and world class golf next door.

Our local commercial center with a gas station, a large supermarket, hardware store, library, community center, many good restaurants and shops is not far.

Our unique unparalleled, unspoiled natural beauty is like a time machine of quieter, gentler days. No hustle and bustle of Maui or Oahu. Even the southern and eastern parts of Kauai have more people in their crowded beaches and hotels.

River & rainbows, surfing, kayaking and SUPs. hiking and biking, swimming, splashing, family beaches with lifeguards. Precarious cliffs with views of blues from both the sky and water. Sunrises, Sunsets, tropical drinks, shave ice and cold beers.

Grill outdoors, conjure up a gourmet meal in the chef's kitchen indoors or go out to the many restaurants in next door Hanalei Bay or right here in Princeville.

Go fishing, go underwater, take pictures, do not touch the wildlife, but be amazed by them. On land, in the air, in the water; fauna and flora flourish here on the Garden Isle.
