“Bella Vista' was named for its breathtaking views of one of North Carolina’s most beautiful beaches. Whether you are enjoying a fresh cup of coffee during sunrise, or sharing a bottle of wine at sunset, our huge private deck offers a spectacular panoramic view of the pristine beach and blue water. The deck can be accessed from the master bedroom and the living room. The inside of this newly renovated condo offers wave crashing views from almost every room.

Begin life-long vacation memories by leaving your oceanfront condo and stepping right onto the beach. There is a manned life guard stand from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Enjoy soaking up the sun, fishing, or dolphin watching. If you are lucky, you may get to see a mother loggerhead turtle and her babies. After the beach, you can wash off at the outdoor shower, and enjoy a dip in our pool that is private for the condo complex.

Carolina Beach, which is part of Pleasure Island along with Kure Beach and Fort Fisher, is located 15 miles from the historic port city of Wilmington. Charming Wilmington is known for its cobblestone roads along the Cape Fear River, antique shops, restaurants, and the Azalea Festival. Our location at Carolina Beach is considered the best on the island, boasting the widest beach and expansive views. Wake up early, walk across the street and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and muffin, or go next door for some homemade pancakes. On your way back, stop at the lake that offers a paved walking trail, playground, paddle boats, and kayaking. We are also within walking distance to the boardwalk, arcade, shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlor and a short ride to the North Carolina Aquarium, historic Fort Fisher, movie theatre, charter boats, golf and other fun things to do. Pleasure Island hosts various festivals with live entertainment throughout the year. Stay with us and enjoy the Carolina Beach Jazz and Seafood Festival, Wilmington’s Azalea Festival or one of many summer evenings at the pavilion watching free outdoor movies with the children.

We have a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups and wine glasses. We've got most everything you'd need - even an XL steam pot to make that seafood feast.

We provide all linens, including towels. Please let us know up front which rooms need linens and how many people we can plan for.

Bring beach toys, a cooler, beach chairs and an umbrella. You can rent beach chairs and an umbrella - even having them installed and waiting for you. Just ask me for details.

Great location - away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk everywhere. Gorgeous beach view and very short walk to the beach. Just make sure you bring shampoo / body wash and lotion - somehow I thought those things would be provided. Also, the outdoor shower did not work during our stay, that was a bit annoying. Otherwise we loved it and would come back!

Ideal location

Truly a great location and experience. Close to the boardwalk, amazing views, easy walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay! Only con for some people would be the super narrow parking spot and all the stairs. Small trade off for such a great spot!

This is our second time staying at this location. The unit is clean and as shown in pictures. The only change I would ask is that the beds are made upon arrival and the kitchen was missing hand towels. We had to use our bathroom towels. It’s a walkable location and pretty view.

Beware before you stay

I love Carolina Beach and come every summer. I would definitely come back but not to this location.Pro: 1. Great location - walking distance to restaurants/bars/beach. 2. The view is stunning from the balcony.Con:1. Take pictures beforehand - no one used the closets and we were charged 125 for a broken shelf in the master room closet. 2. Sleeping arrangements - The description states 2 queen size beds - this is definitely misleading. The beds have to be full size. The sheets that were shrink wrapped on top of the bed even said full. (We had 8 adult women trying to fit in twin size beds instead of the queens that were advertised) You do have to make your own beds. The pull out couch is very noisy and sags in the middle. 3. There are quite a few flight of stairs, condo is on the 3rd floor. I didn't mind but most in the group did especially when you have luggage and groceries for the weekend. 4. Parking is extremely tight. The parking at this location is even more compact than other places around. I had to let everyone out and pull in my mirrors. (I drive a ford explorer) 5. Not enough chairs at the table for 8 people or in the living area on the couches. 6. There were 2 bottles of hand soap in the bathrooms but they were completely empty. 7. The rug in the living room had food crumbs on it and there was moldy expired food in the cabinets that we had to throw out. 8. Pool was 1/2 full and is only 3ft deep only good for lounging.

Carolina beach stay

Quiet location on the beach. Place was clean and comfortable, beds were comfortable. The only thing i didn't like was the beds were not made but clean sheets were folded on the bed for you to make yourself. Other than that things went well.

Summer Vacation

This condo has the perfect beach location. The beach access is right outside the condo and the views in the morning are amazing. Beside the beach location being perfect, the location to all the restaurants is great. We didn’t need our car once. We could also walk to the boardwalk and get Britt’s donuts. Definitely a must. The owners were great and very quick with responding to any questions I had. The condo was stocked with everything you need to cook. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Poor communication from renter

Agency did not advise of check in process until day before after being asked by us about info. Parking was horrible. I recommend adding to details recommend smaller vehicle, trucks do not fit in spots designated. Arrived to condo with soap dispenser empty. We throughly enjoyed our time there just the beginning was rockier than it had to be.

Easter trip

Great oceanfront condo with amazing views! We spent most of our time out on the balcony. Great responsiveness from the owners. Loved the location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Have to walk up 3 flights of stairs but it’s not too bad.

Great condo in a great location

Large, very clean, condo with a great view of Carolina Beach. Place was nicely furnished and has a great balcony. Very short walk to the boardwalk. There are a lot of stairs if you have mobility problems, and the covered parking area is on the narrow side. The few times I had to contact the owners they were very polite and helpful. Overall, this was an extremely nice place that sits on a great stretch of beach.

Fantastic Vacation with A View

Everything was excellent. Communication with owners was wonderful. Looks exactly like the photos. The ceanfront view was amazing. We love the radio. Rooms were perfect. Grandsons and daughters enjoyed. I was celebrating my birthday with them. Food and shopping was very close. The steps were a lot for me. I had the top floor. Overall view is that I will be returning. A plus.

Excellent accommodations and owners!

I didn't get check-in info from VRBO so I had to contact the owners directly. They were fantastic and because they dropped everything to send the info, we had a great stay. We are very thankful to them. It's a spacious, clean condo with a large deck with a gorgeous view as described. Wish I had known it was up 4 flights of steps as we had elderly family who found it difficult to climb. Beach access is also half a block down along a pretty long walkway - not just steps away. Again, just for the elderly folks, it's a hike, so that should be made clear. Otherwise, the beds, bathrooms, kitchen, etc were all in excellent condition. Would stay here again - just with a younger family group. Thanks so much!

Best friends weekend

We loved the view of the ocean from the balcony it was beautiful. Property was older but had some nice updates. It as about 42 steps to climb to the 3rd floor . The elevation creates a beautiful view ...so be prepared for steps. We walked to several good restaurants from our room. The parking spot was narrow but we only had 1 van so that worked out ok.. It was a great place for our trip.

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay! Absolutely loved having dinner on the porch/balcony with the ocean right in front of us! The condo was clean and tidy with comfortable beds and couches. The pool was just what we needed after a long day on the beach. The owners were fast to respond to my messages. The only downside (at no fault of the owners) is the parking space is very tight. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view & location

I stayed at the property on a girls trip! The location is perfect for walking to the Boardwalk and the market at the park. The condo had an amazing view from the top floor and was very clean. I will be booking it again for my family this summer!

When we first saw our place at Carolina Beach, we absolutely fell in love with it's view. We bought it from the original owner and it was very outdated. Over the years, we have done massive renovations to make it the stylish, yet warm place that it is today. After the first year, we decided to open it up to others, so they can enjoy it as much as we do.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The first thing that people fall in love with, is the view from our condo. You can see the waves crashing on the beach and if you're lucky, you'll get to see the family of dolphins playing in the ocean. One of the best features is it's proximity to everything. We are beachfront and a short walk to the lake with a walking trail, paddle boats & kayaks, multi sensory playground for children with all abilities, shopping, coffee shops, ice cream shops and much more. Once you park your car, in the private off street covered parking spaces, you'll never have to drive it until your vacation is over. We are located on a part of the beach where we've never seen it crowded. It's just the perfect place to relax and make lots of memories.
