One of the most luxurious oceanfront Kauai vacation rental resorts in Poipu, Whaler’s Cove offers serenity and intimacy. Set on a point overlooking Koloa Landing, the resort features commanding 180 degree views of the coastline. The sounds of the ocean fill each of our Whalers Cove condos and the large spacious lanais offer a great lookout for hours of relaxing turtle, dolphin, and seasonal whale watching. Well attended orchid gardens and manicured lawns along with a spectacular heated oceanfront pool and spa provide the ideal island vacation setting.

PARRISH PROFESSIONAL CLEAN – Built Upon the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) “Safe Home” cleaning program, we further expanded our existing high standard of housekeeping at our properties where hospital-grade cleaning products and protocols were already in use. Our goal by layering on the recommended new steps is to provide our guests assurance and peace of mind that when they stay at any Parrish Kauai property that every effort was made to ensure a high level of cleanliness, sanitation and disinfection.

Awesome Location!

Ocean front sunrise and sunset on the balcony!

Property in a great location and clean and all the basics. Very comfortable beds. The balcony is outstanding! Sunrise and sunset, whale and turtle watching! Great snorkeling location and fun to watch the night time underwater scuba divers ( blue underwater lights) Star gazing spectacular! Mahalo!!

Excellent stay

Wonderful location and amazing property. We were so happy to find this gem. Nice, quiet location but close to the best shopping center. We were glad it was not a big resort style place. Lots of turtles! The check in wax easy snd communication excellent. Thank you Parrish Collection! We will be back!

Both shower heads were barely functional You could not get soap out of hair. Both need replacement

Unbelievable location. Very nicely appointed and well cared for. Pool are and grounds were impeccable. Wasn't quite ready for no air conditioning but all but one night was fine. Can't wait to come back. This unit and Kauai are amazing.

Simply Breathtaking!

This condo was incredible - the oceanfront view from the balcony and master bedroom/ bath....it's hard to put into words how amazing this view is. We saw turtles all hours of the day and were lucky enough to see dolphins in the morning. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the kids and it was never overly crowded. Location is perfect, with plenty of things within walking distance - stores and shopping center with a few restaurants. We can't wait to come back some day!

Too nice

Incredible place. We are all planning our next trip back to the same place and we haven't left yet. Arrived on Thanksgiving day! Picked up our turkey and fixings from Living Foods with plans to hit the beach while it cooked. My family arrived and checked out the spectacular view and decided to stay and watch football ball with the crashing ocean waves in the background. Beds are comfortable, very clean, cozy and relaxing. Best VRBO I've ever stayed in.

Beautiful Ocean View

Very clean unit. When we weren't out and about we enjoyed spending our time sitting out on the Lanai taking in the view of the ocean and sea life. One morning while drinking our coffee we watched a pod of Dolphins jumping and surfing in on the waves. The one downfall, no air conditioning. But if not an issue for you it's a nice place to stay on Kauai.

Amazing! We couldn't have asked for more (except time!)

Our first time on Kauai was better than we could have ever anticipated! We had amazing experiences each day and couldn't wait to get back to our "home away from home" at Whalers Cove #137! The amenities provided, appreciated space for our family of 4 and cleanliness of the condo made our stay very relaxing! BUT the VIEWS!!! I can't say enough about the location of this beautiful property! From the sounds of the ocean lulling us to sleep each evening to our happy hours on the large lanai, watching the turtles and whales, it was very difficult to leave!! Mahalo for making our 1st of what we hope to be many more visits to the island and Whalers Cove #137 memorable!!

Million Dollar View

The ocean views are spectacular. Located in a quiet neighborhood but close to dining and shopping. Easy walking distance to Baby Beach but it's not that impressive. We ended up driving to Poipu Beach instead. The condo is mostly well-equipped in the kitchen as well as with beach equipment and coolers. We had issues with the washer/dryer, which needs to be repaired or replaced. The living room and patio furniture were not the most comfortable for us. Good outside airflow made up for the lack of A/C.

Location

Interior is a bit dated. Curtains to lanai had dry rot and need to be replaced. Oven was not working. Microwave display was burned out. Kitchen faucet and master bath drain needed repairs. Repairs to kitchen faucet and bathroom drain were done promptly. They were unable to fix oven or microwave. 5 stars because location is hard to beat.

While we loved the condo's location, we feel a few things should be addressed for a property of this caliber: 1. The chairs on the lanai are outdated, heavy, need painting and the most uncomfortable chairs we have ever sat in. THE main feature of this property is the lanai and view; however, the chairs were very uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. 2. Would be nice to add a chaise lounge to the lanai. 3. Most of the chaise lounges in the pool area were ripped and needed repair. 4. The refrigerator is too large for the kitchen area or there may be a ventilation problem, but the kitchen was always hot even when not cooking. 5. The master bed headboard is worn through and should be recovered.

Unbelievable property

This is one magical condo. It sits just feet from a sea wall along the shore in lovely Poipu. From the main bedroom, all you see is the water, which lulled us into a deep sleep every night. The main bath’s walk-in shower boasts a huge window that brought the ocean even closer. I’m very critical of living room furniture. It has to be ample, comfy and well placed. We were not disappointed. The kitchen was nicely stocked, though plastic tumblers would have been welcome. Appreciated the beach chairs, mats, umbrella and several coolers, all in great condition. Even with no A/C, we kept cool with open windows and the living room slider. Loved the in-room safe, a nice addition. Bathrooms had great towels and ample toiletries. The main bedroom bed was a little soft for me, so if a firm mattress is a must, try one of the beds in the second bedroom. The management company was a dream to work with. Just outstanding customer service at every turn. We can’t wait to come back.

This location is perfect! Snorkeling, whale watching, great food and shopping are all close by!

This is a lovely property! The unit overlooks the ocean and the sound of ocean waves lulled me to sleep each night. Everything is within walking distance, including fabulous sushi and açaí bowls, snorkeling and diving. The unit is open, well appointed and inviting! This is a gem and I will definitely return!

Lovely oceanfront propery

Whaler's Cove #137 is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The views of the ocean and the sound of the waves are wonderful. It is a terrific place to stay o the South Shore and I highly recommend it!

Superb location and views
