Yorkies Sweet Retreat is a clean, family friendly cottage located right next to Yorkies Grill & Custard in Espyville, PA. It is within walking distance to the Causeway/Pymatuning Lake/Espyville Marina.

Our cottages are set-up for you to relax while you are at Pymatuning/Espyville/Causeway area. Sweet Retreat has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and sleeps 8. Views of the lake from both bedrooms and sitting room. Fully equipped kitchen. 2 sofas. Full dining room table. Big screen TV. Cable/WiFi.

There is a back deck with a grill to cook your catch of the day! Also has a nice backyard for the kids to play. Close to marina. And best of all...Yorkies Ice Cream every night for dessert!!!

Please help us take care of our cottages so you can come back year after year!!

I was a bit disappointed when we did get there to find out that it was not the place that was pictured above. The pictures in the place that we rented showed two bedrooms with queen beds and four singles. The place that we got had a full-size bed and one room And bunkbeds in the other and only one bathroom. We’re in our 60s neither of us could sleep in a bunkbed and two of us cannot sleep in a full-size bed. So my 6 foot sixhusband slept on the couch. I’m not sure when the place that we rented got swapped, I was just told two days prior where to check in. So again the place that we rented was not the place that we stayed.

Was not a bad house plenty of room you must bring your own towels and sheets only thing I didn’t like about the stay was the water had a rotten egg smell but was out of owners control due to being well water owner did make accommodations to help over all a great place

Go fish!

Great place for fisherman. We went to the spillway and the hatchery. The place is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we were not there to fish. So, we spent more time at nearby towns to dine, etc..

Very nice place to stay

We enjoyed the comfortable living arrangement. The hosts were extremely responsive to anything not being right. Only negative was we were not aware we needed to bring our own towels and sheets until a few days before when we got a text from the owner. We think this should be included in the listing.

This is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and organized also had a lot of extra supplies.

Very pleasant experience. Fast responses from the property owner. We will definitely be renting here again.

Sweet Retreat near the Lake

The cottage has a unique sleeping area on the second floor with four twins and a queen. It was great for our four kids and they could have even brought a friend. Entry level has kitchen, living areas, both bathrooms and the bedroom. We enjoyed a treat at Yorkie's several times during our stay. There is no longer a fireplace and not much yard, but the grill works. It seems to have been taken over by additional parking for Yorkie's. It is a busy area and tenants do share parking with Yorkie's, but we never had a problem getting in or out. Overall a nice little place conveniently located to Pymatuning.

Very nice

Everything about the cottage was very nice. It was well kept, the kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal if you wanted and It was very close to the lake. Yorkies Grill & Custard next door was outstanding. The owner was very helpful and informative about the area. The best thing about our stay was our kids loved it. They want to come back next year.

Fantastic get away near Pymatuning!

This cottage exceeded our expectations! There was ample room for sleeping and for hanging out in the evening. Our crew found the downstairs very relaxing and enjoyable due to its open floor plan. Everyone could hang out with each other, whether some were cooking or kicking back and relaxing. The outside area was also a nice place to relax in the evening. The lake is a short walk away and provided our group with a nice evening walk after dinner. We will definitely be going back!!

Would So Recommend!

I spent the weekend here with some friends and it was an amazing place. We had a blast here. The cottage and surrounding area is wonderful for just about any reason you could think of to get away from your busy life. Jen, the owner, was very perfessional and was available for any questions. Great location close to the water for fishing and even has a set up outside for cleaning and preparing fish. The surrounding area has a lot to offer tourists. The house was very clean and neat, and stocked with just about everything you could need. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway spot. Great owner, fantastic location, and tons of fun. The best part, there's good food and ice cream right next door!

Excellent Communication

This was the perfect cottage for a week long fishing trip. Jen was very quick to confirm our reservation and answer all questions. Upon arrival she was very accommodating in telling us about the area. She even let us choose our favorite soft serve ice cream to be made!! Everything you need is in the cottage and the beds were very comfortable. Jen is very fair and reasonable. I would recommend this cottage for anyone wanting to be close to the lake.

Vacation Rental

We stayed at the rental house week of 6/18 thru 6/25 - enjoyed the week tremendously - house is very nice - has everything you possible need - and for you fishermen - the marina is within walking dist - I had rented a dock for my boat and there is a fish cleaning table behind the house to clean your catch - Best place I have ever rented and hope to back next year - Thanks again for everything Jen.
