I am so glad to read your comments that the central location was perfect for visiting Siena, Volterra, Florence, Pisa and that the apartment views were absolutely stunning! I note that you thought that the apartment was little small for 4 people. I was surprised to hear this as in the 10 years that we have owned the apartment this issue have never been raised and indeed guests have commented that apartment has provided more than adequate space. With regards to the road, a tree logging company had damaged the road causing the annual maintenance of the road to be delayed. Dennis, thank you for your review. When you vacated my home for the last time, unbelievably, you left my home unlocked and unsecured with the front door open and the front door keys hanging next to the front door - open to everyone!! You left the lights on inside the apartment. You left trash inside, rubbish bag, plastic bottles & cans inside the apartment. A foldable chair was left precariously on the veranda wall that could have easily been blown onto my neighbours below, it was dangerous. You have shown a total lack of respect for my home!! In the 25+ years of renting my Italian home I have never encountered this situation before and had this much difficulty in contacting a guest, it didn't matter what method of communication I used, from sending pdf apartments and travel guides, to key information emails, to WhatsApp & VRBO messaging there was very little acknowledgment, not even out of courtesy. Concerning the clothes dryer, I contacted you and kindly said that I only have a clothes air dryer that you hang clothes on as the hot climate allows clothes to dry very quickly. Also I did indicate that I don’t have a electric washer/dryer and it doesn’t state that we have an electric washer/dryer in my advert. The bath had been converted into a shower, but still could be used as a bath but not in the usual way, I concede this should have been made clearer. I will definitely rectify this for future guests so that bath can be filled in the normal way. Many rural properties in Tuscany can only be serviced by a white gravel road (“Strade Bianche”) and local regulations require this type of road, our road is very well maintained. A recent guest had commented to me how good the road was to reach my home and that the views are stunning. My home is very well maintained, my housekeeper checks everything and it is very clean, this is reflected in my 5 star reviews!! Best wishes, Mike

It’s very heartening to have such lovely feedback, the views indeed are splendid, far reaching and I often I can sit in the evening, for what seems like hours, just drinking up the views ( of course with the obligatory glass of wine😊�).
