Recently renovated spacious house with all new furnishings. Waterfront with privet dock for you to launch your small raft, canoe, and kayak (All motorized boat must be launched at nearby motorboat dock). 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, 1 living, and 1 large living room. Back yard water channel leading to beaches. Nearby recreational activities (horseback riding, Trap & Skeet shooting, parks, and beaches) Get away from city life for a while and enjoy the ocean! The house is equipped with air-conditioners that can heat and cool the home.

We loved staying here! The neighborhood was quiet and close to lots of shopping and amusement. The house was spacious and clean. We especially loved the big yard, dock in the back and the park just down the road with the fishing pier. We learned that the William Floyd Estate was also just around the corner which was a really cool historical place to visit. We didn’t need to communicate much with the owner but when we did reach out they were quick with a response.

Mini vacation

5 days with my family, the place was clean, it has every basic item you need when traveling. Very near to the beach, max travel 30-45 mts for the East Hamptoms, near stores, walking distance to walk sandy park . We had a good relaxing time

Review

Property was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. It was well-stocked with paper goods, dinnerware cookware and appliances not listed on the description (i.e. blender and coffee maker). I would definitely book it again.

Stay at Mastic Beach

We (including the family dog) thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay. The property was spick and span upon our arrival and we found everything that we needed for a comfortable stay, including dishes, towels and all the necessary kitchen utensils and appliances. There is no dishwasher but that was no problem for us at all. Also, the owner was very accomodating to have agreed to hold the booking for us even though I was not able to pay the 1st installment right away.

Minimalist easy rental near beaches

We stayed here to visit family in East Moriches but couldn’t do Hamptons pricing. This property was exactly as listed, clean and minimalist. The great room is a great space. We used the folding table for dining since there were 6 of us, and competed for the couch. Beds were hard but we were all tired from days of swimming and adventures. If there are more than 4 of you bring extra towels. Will stay here again.

Adorable and functional

This was by far our favorite home. Tiny on the outside, giant on the inside. The kids loved the garden and the dock. I loved the fully stocked kitchen (including basic cooking needs like salt and oil and napkins and so much more I really only had to buy food to cook). My husband loved the a/c and the position was perfect for us to get to the outlets for shopping and the north shore to see friends. The neighbors and neighborhood are nice and make getting breakfast and basics easy. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Perfect for a relaxing weekend

Thanks for the great weekend. Originally was concerned when I first saw the outside because I thought it looked smaller than my mind, however when I stepped inside it was very spacious, which a surprise large extra room in the back. Every room had air conditioning which was great as it was 90 degrees each day, and it kept the place nice and cool. The place is lightly furnished, but the landlord warned us about that, but it was perfect for what we all needed. Great beaches nearby but an awesome dock out back, and a lot of yard space for yard games! Would rent again.

Not far from where we needed to be. House is clean enough neighborhood was decent .

The beds need an upgrade badly. The two queen "beds" were box springs with some foam padding on top. I slept on the couch for the whole stay.

Good Value For the Money

Positives: Clean, Comfortable, Spacious, Well Stocked, Rear Yard Dock w/Water Access (if you bring your own kayak/canoe), Near Small Park with Fishing Doc, Conveniently Located. Negatives: No Hand Towels (just bath towels and wash cloths), House Was Very Hot Upon Arrival (heat pumps in each room cooled it down and worked quite well thereafter). The house is not fancy, and as other reviews have commented, it has an unusual floor plan but it functions quite well. A few suggestions: repair loose drywall tape in LR/Kitchen ceilings; remove peeling privacy paper in Kitchen/DR windows and replace with blinds or rolling shades. We enjoyed our stay.

Basic, no frills rental

The home is spacious, easy to find and in a nice location not far from the water, even has a dock in the yard. 3 bedrooms and the beds are comfortable. 2 full bathrooms with showers was convenient. Small kitchenette, but it worked for us. There were only 2 coffee mugs, so we had to clean and share them. Nice large backyard- it would be nice for guests if there was maybe a hammock, lounge chair or fire pit to enjoy.

Exactly as advertised

Clean, simple, quiet, safe place for us to sleep while visiting friends and family. Not fancy but totally met our needs. Owner extremely helpful and responsive. Kids loved the dock in back and Osprey Park (1/2 mile walk) is beautiful. The A/C units are fantastic — I want one for my house!

Worked fine

It was super hot when we got there so it took a while for it to cool down. Every room had a ac and they all worked great. It was very clean.

Clean, minimalist rental

This house was clean and the air conditioning worked great over the sweltering four days we stayed there. The location is convenient and close to beaches, and the neighborhood is fairly quiet. However, the furnishings are extremely minimal (the photos are accurate) and there is no outside deck, patio, or seating area. There is a dock is over a muddy river inlet, but the path and dock are overgrown with long grasses and the bugs were fierce (in August). Basically we were underwhelmed by this property—there is nothing horribly wrong with it (although the layout is really strange) but there is very little to recommend it. The owner was good to work with and answered our questions quickly and honestly, which we appreciated (without this factor, the property would have earned less than 3 stars from us).

Not quite what we expected

The process of checking in was very easy. The house itself was immaculate. The linens were very clean. The house was well stocked with necessities in the bathrooms and kitchens. The layout of the house was really strange but accommated all of us. The dock was the best part of the house, but bug spray is a must. Glad that each room had an ac unit.

Great waterside retreat.

We booked over Thanksgiving Holiday and this location was very convenient to family and it allowed for us to bring our dog. Nice yard, and the house was very clean. Plenty of offstreet parking. To address previous reviews, the hot water was a plenty, no issues. Overall a great alternative to a hotel. Very cute beach park within walking distance, of the house. And a great bagel shop nearby, Mahnattan Bagels.

Cute house with a beach feel

The dock and yard were perfect for our group and friends. The large room in the back was great for gatherings. The house was clean with a quaint bungalow feel. Plenty of pillows and comforters but oddly enough, only the twin beds had two sheets. The other beds only had one sheet.The owner directed us to a storage area under the couch with linens, but there was only one sheet inside. For most of our stay everything was great. Unfortunately, the house had no hot water the last 24 hours we were there. The owner was called. We were told to wait 4 hours so the boiler could heat up. Four hours later still no hot water. Another call, we were told the same thing. No showers before we boarded a plane for home. The owner has since contacted us and apologized for our lack of hot water the last night we were there. Despite no hot water the last night, we still have many good memories of our stay.
