Escape The Commotion - Relaxe Pelo Oceano

Come spend your vacation with us this summer. See all the Cape has to offer! We have everything you need to relax and renew with friends and family. We are centrally located on Cape Cod, in West Yarmouth, 27 minutes from the Sagamore Bridge, and 11 minutes from exit 8 on route 6. Our home is within a mile of the famous Seagull Beach which is Yarmouth's largest and most popular beach according to Cape Cod Times 2015. Reason's for this are the space, calm waters, and clean soft sand. We are also under a mile from Eaglewood Beach.

After spending a day at the beach get the sand off your feet with our outdoor shower and enjoy our large private backyard. We have a patio set, classic Cape Cod Adirondack chairs, and yard games. When it's time for dinner use our kitchen, which comes with all the utensils needed to create wonderful meals, or cook on the propane gas grill. Keep the night chill off with our fire pit. If you would rather have someone else do the cooking, choose from the large variety of restaurants along 28 or go into Hyannis Main Street area which is just a 9 minute drive. Still want more to do? Enjoy mini-golf and ice cream at many of the renowned creamery's very close to the house, or catch a movie at the Regal Cinema Theater at the Cape Cod Mall.

If you would prefer catching a movie at home the living room has a 40'' LED SMART TV which has a DVD player and a small library of movies, or bring your favorites from home. After a long day, enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in one of four bedrooms, all of which have either built in's, closets, or dressers. If you sleep in the upstairs bedrooms, when you wake up enjoy morning coffee on the deck just steps from the bed, or stay in bed where the morning sun cascades through the slider and french doors. Get ready for another great day on the Cape!

Incredible Stay!

My family and I stayed here for a weekend during our family reunion about 20 minutes East in Craigville. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again!

Cape Cod Sights

Perfect base for a Cape Cod adventure. Can ferry over to Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket from Hyannis and only about an hour to Provincetown for some whale watching. Great base location.

Great stay

The house is in a great location, quiet neighborhood and close to Seagull beach. Older, with quirks in line with the style of the home, but well maintained for guests. Have stayed in many similar rentals over the years and this is one of the best for the size/price. Responsive owner who made the rental process easy from start to finish.

Awesome place

We were 3 families with 2 kids along. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is clean and nicely maintained and the owner is so prompt in responding and very accommodating. The beach is at a walkable distance (20 mins) and its beautiful walk in the mornings! I would recommend this property!

Great location and beautiful backyard

Very responsive host, clean and nicely maintained house, 2 large bedrooms upstairs and 2 smaller bedrooms downstairs. The location is perfect, 10 min walk to the beach. Backyard is the best feature - big enough for the kids to play soccer or volleyball. We spent several nights by the firepit making smores.

Fabulous Family visit

The house is lovely: updated kitchen and bathrooms. The yard is wonderful for little kids and for adults - safe space for little ones to play. We walked to the lovely beach. Landlord very helpful and personable. We hope to return next year!!!

Absolutely enjoyed ourselves

Once again, we totally enjoyed our family vacation in the Cape. We always enjoy the watersports, fresh seafoods, antiquing, sightseeing and the people. The house that we rented really completed our vacation. In the past, we have rented nice houses in the Cape, but I have to say this is one of the better rentals for us. We felt so comfortable in this spacious, warm and inviting house. The owner was so pleasant, kind and helpful, he really made us feel so welcomed. We will absolutely stay here again.

Family Vacation

We had two families of 4 rent this home and there was plenty of space. The house is close enough to Seagull beach to either ride a bike or take a 10+ minute walk.The kids liked being close to mini-golf and t-shirt shops along Route 28. HoYin was so helpful and very responsive to the unexpected power outage we experienced during our stay. We love West Yarmouth and this property is clean and comfortable!

Family Retreat

Overall, our stay went well. We were in need of an ironing board but none was found. The refrigerator had a bit of mold on the doors. The overall cleanliness could have been better. The communication with the owner was fantastic. He gave us a late check out. We liked the location for what we were doing. Thank you!!!!

Nice cottage walking distance to the beach

We stayed at this property for a full week in July - myself, wife and 2 kids. Property is as described, clean and spacious for a family of four. Walking distance (~15 mins) to Seagull Beach which the kids enjoyed, we walked to the beach everyday. The only issue (and it is a minor one) is that WiFi is a bit slow. Property is ideally situated for exploring Cape Cod and the islands (Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket).

Just Another Reason To Love The Cape

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. The house was clean and spacious with all the amenities of home. The location was perfect with restaurants, beach (walking distance) and CCRT near by and the owner was quick to respond to questions. We took advantage of the huge backyard by playing games and relaxing by the fire pit. Turning 50 is a milestone and glad I could celebrate in Cape Cod....Thank you HoYin for the wonderful memories :)

Excellent Summer Cottage -Near Seagull Beach

Our stay was excellent. The owner, Ho Yin Yuen, offered a clean, AC, 4BR, had all needs covered, 5 car parking, outside patio with gas grill, fire pit, outside shower and large yard. A great family place with great benefits. My family and I had fun at Sea Gull beach ( great drop off ), night activities nearby- miniature golf, batting catches, Go Kart racing, many places to dine out & shop and great ice cream places as well. Fireworks were excellent on the pier at Lewis Bay. My family and I really enjoyed this place and excited about staying here next year for the July 4th week. Great job, Ho Yin!

End of summer vacation

The location is great! The house is missing alot to make it comfortable. There were no instructions for wifi or checking out. Hardly any towels for guests. The kitchen is really missing the basics large frying pan, large bowls etc...The deck upstairs literally had no furniture to sit on and the outside table had no umbrella. I've stayed mainly at Airb&b's and the host always left a welcome basket and the houses were well stocked with basics. I think if they made it a little more welcoming I would consider staying there again because we loved Seagull beach.

Nice place to stay

Clean. Not fussy but attractive. Convenient location. Was a good set up for us with three couples (there would be room enough for 8 people plus a few small children). Long walk or short drive to very pleasant Seagull Beach. We enjoyed the wild turkeys that kept stopping by the home. Convenient to be able to do a load of laundry on a longer visit. Watch out for the odd short step upstairs (maybe should be marked--by the third day I finally learned to stop tripping over it).

Perfect Location = Perfect Vacation

There were seven of us and this house was perfect! From dining inside or out, the fire pit, to the spacious bedrooms, it all helped to make it that much more relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped. We ate breakfast in, packed lunches for beach days and even grilled two of the nights we were there. We were minutes from Seagull beach...my adult children usually walked and us older folks drove. We were a short drive in either direction from most of the attractions. The area restaurants and ice cream shops were fabulous. This was our first trip to the Cape but it certainly won’t be our last!

Perfect spot!

The house is clean and more spacious than I expected. The upstairs bedrooms are huge! It is a nice quiet neighborhood and Seagull Beach is just down the road. It’s a bit of a walk with beach gear, but we had someone drive and drop off, then drive back to the house and bike back to the beach to avoid beach parking fees. Perfect system! The property owner was very responsive for all our questions. Bonus: The kids loved seeing a family of turkeys in our yard more than once!

Clean place and responsive owner.

This home was clean and the owner was very responsive. It’s location is very convenient to nearby attractions. My family shared with me a few suggestions for improvements: the small step on the top of the staircase was easy to trip on. The same is true for a small step into one of the upstairs bedroom closets. The base around the fireplace could also be a tripping concern. There were multiple light bulbs that were out, and I admit that I didn’t reach out to the owner to replace them during our trip. The light fixtures that do work could be a bit brighter; especially those in the kitchen and dining rooms. Last item of concern is the placement of the toilet paper holder in the upstairs bathroom. It makes an already tight space even more so. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay.

My name is HoYin Yuen. I am a native Cape Codder. I was born in Hyannis and went to school through the Nauset School system. I am currently an Art Teacher in the Barnstable Public Schools. This home I live in during the fall, winter and spring months and want to share this with others.

This property is close to everything! Located in the middle of Cape Cod, close to Seagull Beach and Eaglewood Beach, as well as route 28, and Hyannis downtown. The home is on large private lot, almost an acre. The home is very comfortable and spacious, and comes with everything you need for a great vacation!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When I purchased the home over the summer I was attracted to the uniqueness of the home with the built in's and nooks and crannies. I also very much like the wood paneling which reminded me of a ship. The lot size of almost an acre is not the typical for this location!
